I am creating a link to the video about ABC News on my blogsite.
I am glad to see that people are speaking out about the nonsense and waste of time that went down during the "debate".
Thanks for posting this.

Thank you for this video. I have posted it on a Yahoo newsgroup I belong to. I hope they start frequently the Brad Blog as they should after seeing this great piece of truly patriotic journalism.
BTW, isn't the criticizing and harping on what Rev. Wright said itself unpatriotic per the First Amendment? Wonderfully, the flap doodle about Rev. Wright reportedly had a net positive effect for Obama.
The latest flap about Obama knowing Paisley is equally disgusting. If I had to agree with everyone I was friends with I would have no friends.
In all honestly, I have not watched a debate in decades. OK, I'm dating myself, but I watched the Nixon-Kennedy debate, and nobody mentioned lapel pins, which neither man wore, or their religion, which both men professed, or their relatives or people they knew. No one asked them how many people they killed in the war, or tried to say that one man was more patriotic, brave, or evil because of it. If you had told me in 1974 that I would think better of Nixon because of what was to pass in the next 24 years, I would have slapped you (and I have never intensionally slapped anyone in my life).
I truly agree with every word those protesters said. Bravo.

It's nice to see that there are other people out there that see what's going on with the mainstream media.

I am very glad to see this.
It needs to be BIGGER and at ALL the stations.
Go make an entry in each station's public file.

I hope they peel the "Made in China" stickers off the backs of the pins. Sad commentary, and not discussed in the "interview."

This report from 2004 is a reminder of what is wrong with the WAY the debates are structured and controlled. it's not just a matter of a couple of idiotic reporters --- the questions, the format, the questioners, the number of debates --- it's all worked out among the top candidates in a signed memorandum of understanding.
It is a complete plan that the debates turn out the way they do, and there has been nothing nonpartisan about them since the League of women voters opted not to be involved after two candidates crated a MOU about the terms of the debate. The LWV felt that the agreement was fundamentally undemocratic --- but it has only gotten worse since they declined to participate.
For a brief but cogent rundown of the sources o fthe problems with debates, see this brief article by NPR reporter Connie Rice:
IMHO these two pieces help to define the continuing problem with the manufactured news and unchallenging format represented by the presidential debates.
