Here some weirdness with AARP and something called ICS Survey.
I was reading the AARP BULLETIN DECEMBER 2007, and on page 8, left side, there's something called "The Poll" and the topic was "Voting Choices" (I clipped it out for evidence, if someone wants to see later on.)
First lets just show the poll, then we'll get into the weirdness.
The Poll

Do You Favor:

A national, totally computer-based voting system

Okay, SERIOUS ALERT and ALARM BELLS are going off over here! How about you?!
Now for the weird part, If you go to
http://www.aarp.org/bulletin/index.html
right now, the link is still up, but the link is broken. I Scrapbook'ed this page for evidence.
If you search
http://www.aarp.org/sear...oices%22&x=0&y=0
You get...

These Links ALL WORK.
http://www.aarp.org/bulletin/
http://www.aarp.org/bulletin/index.html
http://www.aarp.org/bull...toc/tableofcontents.html
But if you go to http://www.aarp.org/bulletin/index.html
You find at the very bottom, the last paragraph.
http://www.aarp.org/bull...poll_voting_choices.html
AND THAT LINK IS BROKEN!!! Guess they didn't want to elaborate on this misquoted, misinformation.
So then I head over to http://www.icrsurvey.com/
(The ones who did the survey)
You'll notice that conveniently the "voting choices" survey is missing, it should be in between these dates. (I scrapbook'ed that too)
The Ghost of Christmas Past (10/31/2007)
Halloween poll: So, what's scary to Americans? (10/28/2007)

What I guess I am saying here, is that this looks like a straight up attack to spread misinformation to AARP members!!
This straight up makes me angry in multiple different ways. One is the disservice the corporate media has done to us to make adults age 18 and older this stupid about this issue, and the other thing is the way this survey was pushed out, with no way to validate the sources.
SHAME ON AARP BULLETIN editors for getting sucked into ICS's propaganda.
The other thing that's weird is the way AARP BULLETIN describes the link, which has NOTHING to do with the questions asked!?
see for yourself...
The Bulletin Poll: Voting Choices
Our exclusive monthly survey reveals most voters believe requiring voter ID cards will prevent people from voting who are not qualified. However, some feel it will keep many qualified minorities and older voters from the polls.
So, what's going on here exactly, and what forces are at play?
This is some really nasty stuff. Our country needs to be warned about these un-validate-able, unverifiable, complete threat to national security, broken, failing, vote flipping, devices that electronically tabulate votes.
COME ON CORPORATE MEDIA, WAKE THE HELL UP, IT WILL BE YOUR LIVES THAT GET DESTROYED BY THIS MADNESS TOO!
Brad,
you are near SuperMAX, the federal joint second only to Gitmo in bushie fame land.
Can you stop by and see if Dr. Doe is working there? My guess is that he is working there or at Gitmo.
Check this out:
"It never occurred to me when we set this up that we'd have complete idiots administering the drugs." So said Jay Chapman, the Oklahoma doctor who developed the infamous three-drug cocktail used by many states to execute people - the same concoction that is now under constitutional review before the U.S. Supreme Court. As part of the secrecy surrounding the execution process, we do not really know who the people carrying out lethal injections are. But thanks to a recent lawsuit in Missouri, we know a little bit about one of these people.
He is a doctor from Missouri called Dr. Doe. He has been barred from practice in two hospitals, been the subject of numerous malpractice lawsuits and has been forbidden by a federal judge from "participat[ing] in any manner, at any level, in the State of Missouri's lethal injection process."
...
Where has Dr. Doe ended up now that he no longer executes prisoners in Missouri? Astoundingly, the federal government has made him as part of its execution team ... we know that Dr. Doe will possibly replicate his abysmal performance in Missouri on the national level because he testified about his new job ...
(You're Doin a Heckuva Job Doey). The lawsuit points out that execution can be like those cases where patients wake up and feel the pain during an operation.
This TORTURE DOCTOR, like preznit blush can't speak english or add:
Dr. Doe's transgressions were not brought to light by the state, but as the result of a lawsuit filed by a condemned inmate. And we learned a lot from Dr. Doe's own testimony. The doctor admitted under oath that he has dyslexia. He testified that his dyslexia renders him unable to work with numbers, so, Dr. Doe said, "it's not unusual for me to make mistakes." He testified "that he had cut the thiopental [the drug that renders a person unconscious] dosage he gave inmates by half because a change in drug packaging forced him to 'improvise'." According to an amicus brief filed with the U.S. Supreme Court earlier this month, Dr. Doe participated in more than 50 executions in Missouri in which he "varied the amount of thiopental he gave inmates on a whim, without informing anyone." Just as Doe was not informing anyone about his improvisation, the state of Missouri did not inform anyone about the unqualified doctor running its lethal injection system.
(ibid, emphasis added). This is why I think the bushies hired him and sent him to Gitmo or SuperMAX ... "he torcha lik a muthafucha" according to KKKarl the bushie, who should wake up and feel the pain he has put upon humanity.
Check it out in wonderful Colorado Brad!
