Vilsack should be fired. His judgement is lousy.
I don't understand why the president himself didn't apologize. How does it hurt Obama to apologize to this woman he wronged? Is he afraid FOX will rip him for being too nice to black people?

And let's not forget the apologies owed to Van Jones and Rev. Wright.

This is a problem that permeates federal government. Because there are so many rules and papework which is very time consuming, most sueprvisor's just promote the losers up and out to another job either in same agency or another. Pretty soon they are running the place with no idea what the agency is or the history. There has been a rash over the past few years of hiring young unexperienced people with lots of degrees lacking common sense or logic. Majority of them would never dream of asking someone below their paygrade for information or knowledge that has been acquired over years of service. So you have a bunch of degreed SES's running everything with no practical knowledge.

When they say they're "sorry" they couldn't possibly find a more fitting adjective for their fat selves

as we are all distracted and brad is busy traveling..yesterday it was announced that the doj had finished its investigation into "attorneygate" and while they found that the firings were political, they were not criminal...while many in the election integrity community have focused on the firings to interfere with elections i personally thought the firing of carol lam was the big story
she had indicted and convicted several low level repubs along with duke cunningham, and wade the contractor(a contractor that got his first govt contract with cheney, for office furniture to the tune of $140 grande the same price as cunninghams yacht) but it was when she served a warrant on dusty foggo(the number 3 cia dude) that her name was added to the list of firees...what i am trying to say here in my rambling way is..we lost a big one yesterday...when peops ask..we are so far gone what can we do to get our country back..tell em we could rehire LAM and let her do her job

Speaking of this fiasco and the "pathological liar and con-artist Andrew Breitbart", check out what Bretibart said back in May at the Charles Mingus Youth Arts Foundation benefit. "BREITBART: I just like doing things that are wrong, feeling like I can get in trouble." There's even video of this. If you wish to see this go to the Crooks and Liars website.

Oh. My. God.
This is getting good:
http://voices.washington...rrod_blasts_fox_new.html
"(Sherrod) said Fox showed no professionalism in continuing to bother her for an interview, but failing to correct their coverage.
"I think they should but they won't. They intended exactly what they did. "They were looking for the result they got yesterday," she said of Fox. "I am just a pawn. I was just here. They are after a bigger thing, they would love to take us back to where we were many years ago. Back to where black people were looking down, not looking white folks in the face, not being able to compete for a job out there and not be a whole person."
What a firecracker!
