Re: voting fraud, Ann Coulter has three things to her favor.
1. She's a Republican–– which is a sure ticket to avoid prosecution.
2. She's a very rich fascist in a country where even tainted money commands respect.
3. The crime occurred in the mob's retirement park: Florida––no further explanation necessary.
If, as many believe, Ann was truly a "he" and transvestite, she'd never have gotten away with it. The only other question is, does she have the "goods" on anybody?

Hi Brad,
I have the impression (from something I read a while back somewhere) that the Justice Dept will be (if it hasn't already) engaging in voter caging or purging voters from the voter rolls this fall.
Can you speak to this? If true, what can voters do about it?
Thanks,
- Tom

Michelle L asked:

No. But she does have a boyfriend in the FBI who got her off the hook.
TomR -
Yup. Vote Caging has essentially been mainlined by the DoJ in their enforcement of the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) of 2002 which required state-wide computerized registration rolls, and the clean-up of those rolls to remove folks who have moved, are dead, etc.
The result of states being forced to move to these systems is that the rolls have been taken over, in many cases, by the same private companies (Diebold, ES&S, etc.) who screwed up the voting machines too. And where states weren't seen as doing enough to clear out the deadwood from the rolls, they've been threatened with lawsuits by the DoJ.
Except a lot of folks to not show up on the rolls at all this year, even if they've voted in the same place for years. What can you do? For a start, check and re-check to make sure you haven't been removed! VotersUnite offers a very helpful page for doing just that in many states.

Thanks! Wish I'd had one of those when I needed one.
How much do they cost?

Interesting thoughts on what is newsworthy.
Let's see, Ann Coulter, who was not found guilty of violating any election laws needs to be constantly discussed because she is a republican.
ACORN, which has reached settlements with various authorities on voter registrations, admitted to submitting false voter registrations and had employees plead guilty to such actions, those people we should just STFU about already because they are liberal leaning, I'm sorry American leaning.
How about the registration of illegal immigrants to vote Brad? Does that concern you?

In real democracies, voter registration is "automatic," with all citizens included in a national canvas. The institution of voter registration in the United States was initially a pretext for disenfranchisement, and it continues that tradition today.

DaleyRocks stumbled in to say:

She "was not found guilty"? Golly, I must have missed that news. I'm sure you can help me out with a link to demonstrate that (don't work too hard, as it didn't happen).
Nonetheless, she did commit a 3rd degree felony by lying on her voter registration form, despite having signed an oath that the information given was true, under penalty of both fines and jail.
She then committed a 1st degree misdemeanor by knowingly voting in the wrong precinct. (As well, the Palm Beach County Police Dept. believes she committed another 3rd degree felony by defrauding the Bureau of Motor Vehicles by similarly presenting false information about her address).
That is all well documented at https://bradblog.com/coulterfraud of course.
And yes, we still believe the rule of law matters, no matter whether a Democrat or Republican violate it.
ACORN, which has reached settlements with various authorities on voter registrations, admitted to submitting false voter registrations
Apparently you didn't actually bother to read my article above? Of course they've admitted it. They were required by law to submit those false voter registrations and so did so, along with flagging them as likely fraudulent in the process.
and had employees plead guilty to such actions
Yes, because they were guilty. (Of course, nobody actually voted with those false registrations for "Mary Poppins" and "Dick Tracy", but the desperate folks who filed them, because they were paid by the registration, were properly found guilty.)
those people we should just STFU about already because they are liberal leaning, I'm sorry American leaning.
No, you should STFU about them because ACORN didn't do it (rogue employees did) and you should thank ACORN for both reporting it, and helping to spread democracy in the United States of America where it's begun to all but slip away.
How about the registration of illegal immigrants to vote Brad? Does that concern you?
Of course it does. Anybody who votes illegally, like Ann Coulter for instance, should be punished.
Thankfully, as the Bush Dept. of Justice shows, immigrants illegally voting isn't much of a problem at all.
As you can see from the chart below (which ran along with this story at NYTimes:
"In 5-Year DOJ Effort, Scant Evidence of Voter Fraud")...
...Neither the registration of non-citizens, or their voting is much of a problem in the U.S.
You'll note that the Bush DoJ, despite an unprecedented 5 year effort, found just 18 ineligible voters who voted, and I'm not sure, but I think only one of them was a non-citizen. Of course, even if all 18 of those voters were non-citizens, out of millions and millions of votes cast over the last 5 years, it's hardly a major concern. At least in comparison to the millions of legal voters who have been denied their right to vote by anti-democracy efforts by the Republican Party.
Oh, and then there's the problem of a single person being able to flip an entire election without detection on the e-voting machines that Republicans (and too many Democrats still) love.
Concerned about democracy? You may want to take a look at the above, and start acting like you give a damned about this country and its Constitution.
It's nice to visit and comment on your nonpartisan site. Thanks.
Thanks. It's nice to have you here. Hopefully you've learned something today, and will join us in fighting against the forces who hate democracy in America.

Brad - You've got this Coulter obsession thing going on don't you? Was she punished for her awful transgression? She is guilty in your mind, quite obviously, but was she found guilty by anyone else? Did she tilt an election?
Of course ACORN didn't do anything, silly you and me. The organizations themselves don't do anything, it's their eemployees. That's a nice attempted dodge Brad. They also admit guilt when they're caught, but not usually before, like in Washington state, where illegal voting could very well have tilted the gubernatorial election. Am I going too fast for you Brad?
How about Missouri, those ACORN workers didn't fess up out of the goodness of their hearts. They came clean because they were caught red handed. Your intellectual dishonesty on this is dazzling.
The Bush DOJ catching only 18 illegal voters? OMG, that must mean no illegal voting is going on, the Diebold machines are clean and we have nothing to worry about, doesn't it Brad? Nevermind the woman that the Democrats used to challenge the Indiana voter ID law was registered to vote in two states. Nevermind the dual voting that was found in Milwaukee last election. Nevermind the 40 illegal immigrants just found on the voter rolls on one county in Texas, many of whom admitted voting in the last election. They weren't found by the Bush DOJ, so they don't count.
I like the way you think Brad. Full meme ahead.

"like in Washington state, where illegal voting could very well have tilted the gubernatorial election."
Regardless of whether you agree with Brad on issues pertaining to Man Coulter (the irony of Coulter is of course that she is a public figure for the GOP committing voter fraud which is exactly the boogieman that the GOP wants you to fear), you certainly ought to take heed of your own paranoia on VERIFIABLE VOTING practices and techniques.
Don't you wish that the WA election could be verified as 100% accurate with absolutely no chance of fraud (or even mistakes) having changed the results of the election?
I do. And I feel that way about EVERY election.
If you truly suspect the WA Gov election was tilted by voting problems and fraud, then you should be in FAVOR of verifiable elections and a transparent election process. More than anything else, that is the theme of this website.

Another idiot! When will this country wake up and realize that obama has no right becoming president. Has no experience, and he wants to change the country in one swift move. This is a man who wanted the troops out, oh and now double the troops. He will cut taxes and spending, but wait now he has programs in the 250-300 billion range. We forget about 9/11 and Katrina and how much it cost this nation in the spending category. Bush is definitely not my favorite, but Mccain REALLY LOVES HIS COUNTRY! Obama stated in his book he could not stand white people and wanted to be a strong black man in resenting his mothers race. He has ties to the muslim community. We all know he is involved in ACORN....stop being so goddamn nieve. Here is a man with 128 days experience in session, should I repeat that. All you dem's are so ignorant. do you realize that all of the bills passed during bush administration were passed by none other than democrats, who easily dominate both house and senate. The same people who voted against all issues obama wants to change. If you think for one second that biden will be allowed to call military shots while obama is in office, you are nuts! This man will not only cripple america's economy but at the same time make us vunerable to the other nations who's military and weapons become stronger each day. I cannot believe how foolish and blind this country is right now. You all bash fox about being repub. well what about CNN, and the Wall Street Journal. They report nonsense. how in god's great name can you honestly say obama did a great job during debates. He's the moron who has still yet to name his "plan" if elected president. He hasn't answered a question directly in the last 2 months. Oh wait how about this last question last debate. What is one thing you fear you will not be good at. This idiot goes on to talk about his mothers food stamps!!!! Wow could he be reaching colored community, who never vote and just want the government check every week, who are so godamn ignorant and will vote for him because of race! Oh wait, he isnt even BLACK!!! He needs to stop the f^*&*^* race card! Wake up america its our bed to lay in, you all need to think long and hard!
