I watched this yesterday at Raw Story. They have another image of Bill at the story-site just above the video and it was noted Bill could be mistaken for Peter Jennings. I never thought about it before. I don't recall Inside Edition trying to look like a hard "news" program, but that photo persuades me. It explains how easily people like Bill could be transplanted to another fake news environment like Fox and look so absolutely at home. I would really like to know how Bill got his job at Fox and whether the campaigned for it.
But as to saying the F-word. While I find it amusing to watch his facade dissolve, he knows he's on tape and I am pretty sure most of us have lived and worked in environments where this kind of thing happens. He at least tried to do two takes before giving up. A true professional, yes?
Now, if the leaker of this tape came up with --oh, say a half-dozen more such tapes, then I would be less inclined to cut him any slack.
Hint, hint.

Like Karl Rove, who on camera said he would go and testify under oath before Congress.
But when the rubber hit the road:
A House Judiciary Committee deadline passed Monday with former White House adviser Karl Rove standing by his refusal to testify about allegations that he pushed the Justice Department to prosecute former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman.
(Raw Story). O Reilly and Rove are cut from the same cloth.

O'Reilly uses the f-bomb two decades ago. Keith Olbermann tells a critic to go f*** his own mother two years ago. Newsworthy? You decide.

I can't decide any Damail without proof. I take it you are a "faither" ... "believe me just because i say it?"
Did notice that evidence was produced in the form of billO doing in live?
We are not the type of blog that believes just any old thing, but we take note of what we see.
Should we believe you "or our lying eyes" Damail?

Hey Dredd, even that puff piece that Rolling Stone wrote on Olbermann referenced the "Go f*** your mother" comment, as well as Olbermann telling another critic, "Kill yourself". Check out Rolling Stone's archives.

Bill is a nutjob, not just a fascist. Who'd a thunk it? Oh wait. Check him out going nuts on Geraldo. With the Inside Edition video and this one, there is your proof that Bill is insane.

Republicans are sick f&#ks. They are murderous, greedy pigs. They rig elections and wars. We are not a bitterly divided country. That is a myth.

Damail,
Olbermann isn't perfect, but boy he sticks it to Bush but good, so I'd be willing to give him a pass on a lot of stuff (which, it turns out, is only a little stuff, historically speaking.) I've told my own mother to go f* herself - she is, after all, a Republican, so I think it's justified when we're discussing policy. O'Reilly, however, has proven himself to be a Major League Asshole in a voluminous way ("Cut his mike!")
My personal favorite O'Reilly meltdown moment was the LA Book Club Expo back in May? '03? with Molly Ivins and Al Franken. I had the pleasure of experiencing that live. Bliss.
Too bad we don't have a similar clip of a McCain meltdown.

Oh yea, Billo is a man of the people, he speaks for the common man, and is always fair and balanced! I know it's true 'cause I seen it on TV and the internets!(Sarcasm)
DAMail, you are using the "But, but, but Clinton did this ....!!! style of argument which is to say that if you can find similar fault in a Democrat then the Republican's faults are justified. Two wrongs don't make a right. Were are not talking about KO here, we're talking about Bill O'Reilly. I like a lot of what KO has said, but he still works for the MSM and thus is under the same restrictions of censorship and propaganda, and his ego has effected his judgement at times, IMO.
If you are comparing Billo idealistically the champions of the "librul media", How about a comparison to Bill Moyers, Amy Goodman, or Glenn Greenwald.
Morals, intelligence, integrity, and sources are impecable for these real journalist and your Billo cannot hold a candle to these people, because he is really just an actor, like nearly all the news readers on TV.

I have a great sense of humor. I would be laughing my head off if your mom did the correct thing and shoved a lathered-up bar of Irish Spring into your pie-hole.
Bill O'Reilly actually has people who disagree with him on his show, and they actually debate. That doesn't happen with Olbermann. He is too cowardly to have an actual debate on his show who fundamentally disagree with him. So his lies and hypocrisy and journalistic fraudulence are never held in check.
