I enjoy listening to you on KPFK, but I noticed that you have your friends call, and those are the only ones who seem to get through to you to discuss the topic.

Chandidevi -
That's absolutely absurd. Last time I was on, I took every caller who called in. I don't recall any "friends" calling in. Hope *you* will call in today! Happy to take your call!

Regarding the "don't vote" argument, what a bratty, useless attitude. The entire premise behind the Election Integrity movement is that there are principles we wish to stand up for, something that is worth demanding - our involvement in the decisions made in our country.
Besides, why make Karl Rove smile?

The reason electronic voting machines are bad is because they use electronic signals.
Those electronic signals are invisible to the human eye.
You could hire 10 BILLION pollwatchers and they couldn't provide oversight, because they can not see the electronic signals.
This is why these machines have to go.
It's not a matter of which operating system they run. It's a matter of electronics and invisible electronic signals.
Peace

"Bratty"... "useless"... perfect, Barbara. People always want to know why I get so pissed off about comments advocating boycotting the vote and rigging the machines for OBL or Donald Duck. THOSE are part of why. The other parts are the un-American part and the illegal part. The bratty defeatists really get on my nerves.

I'm particularly annoyed about the "don't vote" attitude at this moment because last weekend, Mark Crispin Miller's excellent article "What You Can Do to Prevent Another Stolen Election" --- one of the most read articles at OpEdNews.com --- was eventually yanked (I'm not sure by whom) after one pathetic cynic found it to be his job to tear apart, statement by statement (with little logic but a lot of determination), any comment posted in support of the article --- all under the auspices of "withholding your vote" as the only way to get back at the system.
Hogwash.
As for me, I'm on the track with those who are willing to learn more, share what they learn, and aim towards even more light shining on the truth, so we can facilitate the evolution of this democratic experiment.
Meanwhile, Brad, any thoughts or information on connections between Sarah Palin and the Diebold lawsuits in Alaska?

Good eye, Barbara Had been hoping to poke around there a bit, just to cross t's and dot i's, but Palin wasn't on the scene when the battle originally lit up, up there. Have been meaning to check into where she stands on it. Working on it. Still need a bigger boat
