The reality behind the invasion of the middle east by Cheney / Bush is becoming more and more known.

The advent of the term "hydrocarbon production", which sounds like alternative energy, and is intended to deceive, is telling.

The first order of business for the Iraqi legislators is "the hydrocarbon law" which will allow the Iraqi's to share evenly amongst themselves, 30% of the "hydrocarbon production".

The 70% of oil production will go to the oil barons who engineered the whole thing led by "civilian" oil companies, the money bags of the military industrial complex.

"If we leave the turrists will get all that oil" has been repeated often lately, and that says it all. The inverse is "if we stay we get all that oil", which is why we went there in the first place.

The Republicans are fond of saying that this war is not about oil. Fine... pass a law that says that no company that produces, purchases or has ties to iraqi oil is allowed to do business in the US. Watch how fast the war would end then.
