This is the worst Republican Party I've seen in my entire life. It's worse than the Nixon era, in the sheer amount of corrupt Republicans.
This was planned for a long time, that when the Republicans got every branch of government, that they would do this. They just "didn't think of it" in 2000! It's too massive!
And their braindead fans don't see the corruption, or is it just shills saying these things? I know we have Limbaugh, Hannity, and O'Reilly and FOX news...but we also have all their fake experts all over ANBCBSNNX like biased AEI experts, told to us that they are non-partisan.
Is the National Journal partisan, and they claim their unpartisan?

Anyone paying attention who is not in complete denial or hypnotized by the corporate owned newspapers who interests are being served by the bushit administration crime family and their democratic robot enablers in Congress believes the depth of their corruption. These shitheads took down 3 World Trade Towers on 9/11 and pointed their bloody fingers to some arabs in a cave.
World Trade Tower steel concrete Building #7 was never hit by a plane. Bomb experts imploded this 45 story tower 10 hours after the twin towers but until these lying murderers in the White House are indicted for these wargames, the bushit continues.
Here is my question? What is being done to reinstate the fired State attornies? They deserve their positions back not the bush appointed cronies.
O.T. Yesterday the bushit administration announced they will be reinterpreting the Federal Endangered Species Protection Act to only protect an endangered specie in a "limited" area. These Bushit anti-environmentalist tried to end endangered species protection in the 109th Congress but it didn't pass so the biggest fcking loser party has pulled a another quick one.

This plan was in process long before 2000. I remember reading about pieces of it in the 1980's, when the plan was to start taking over school boards and local offices by deceiving voters with what appeared to be center, reasonable candidates. Once elected, their masks would come out and their true, far right credentials unmasked. From there, the targets would be local judges, state legislatures, governors --- ultimately the House, Senate and the Presidency. At was as close to a conspiracy to take over the government with a specific and clear mandate as has ever existed in our history. The intent was clear--to put in place a theocracy that would forever alter our political system. As often happens in these movements, a lot of corrupt and greedy people latched onto and ultimately took control of the movement for their own means. Even if it isn't too late to stop the process, it will take decades to undo the harm to the Republic.
While the Democrats efforts to impose accountability and route out the corruption so far have been noteworthy, the question remains. How far will they be willing to dig into the deepest levels of the corruption? If I were Henry Waxman, I'd be very afraid of getting on an airplane these days. The stakes are high enough that if he goes beyond exploring the periphery of scandals revealed so far, and digs too deep, he and others could put their lives in jeapordy.

THE FOUNDING FATHERS WERE NOT COWARDS.
THESE FASCIST WARMONGER DESTRUCTORS ARE COWARDICE CRIMINALS AND MUST BE REMOVED AND JAILED BY THE FREE AND THE BRAVE BY WHATEVER MEANS REQUIRED. IF WE DO NOT REMOVE THE CANCER FROM THE DEPTHS OF OUR DEMOCRACY, THE COST IS OUR DEMISE.

"But the real genius of their plan was the fear. Fear became the ultimate tool of this government."
"There are of course those who do not want us to speak. I suspect even now, orders are being shouted into telephones, and men with guns will soon be on their way. Why? Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the annunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance, and depression. And where once you had the freedom to object, think, and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillence coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myraid of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you"

The information about Rep. Darryl Issa is interesting for me to read in light of a snippet of a segment on the Lehrer Newshour last week I caught which had Issa opposite Sen. Leahy debating about the US attorney purge. Issa was telling the Justice Department officials to come clean and resign, if necessary, to get the attorney purge scandal behind them. Leahy seemed amused by Issa's call to DoJ officials, and responded that whether Gonzales resigned or not, he was determined "to get to the bottom" of what happened. Gonzalez and others would be called to testify whether he remianed in office, or not.
These faux brave GOP legislators calling for Gonzo's resignation are really seeking to get the scandal behind them and move on before any more of their own get caught up in it aned exposed of possible criminal obstruction of justice, like Heather Wilson, Pete Domenici, and Doc Hastings.

Bush might as well have said "terrorists would benefit if Rove and Miers have to tell the truth".
But since nobody would buy it anymore, and he knows it, he has to do a James Cagney "come and get me coppa" routine.
It came across to me as a spoiled brat tantrum, rather than a principled stand.
Shameful nixonian criminality pure and simple.

Oooh, check this out:
Donp over at TPMMuckraker has come up with an 18 day gap in emails - JUST BEFORE THE CALLS WERE MADE.
What happened in that 18 day gap that changed the execution of the plan?
Scroll down to 2:19 AM, post from Donp:
THE 18 MINUTE GAP???
Tangent thought - is there some significance with these folks and the number "18"? I mean, Bush and 18 days of missing emails...Nixon and 18 minutes of missing tape...

This regime is the nixon regime on steriods. For every minute of corruption in the nixon regime, the neoCon delusion-steroid additive increases it to a day in the current bu$hit regime.

Well, Carol Lam already got another job at Qualcomm. One wonders if Qualcomm board member Brent Scowcroft (also a big wheel on AIPAC and ATC lobbyist groups that are likely subject to related investigations) had something to do with her "quick nice offer" to prevent her from going back to the Attorney's office here in San Diego!

They better not use the, "we don't know if laws have been broken", shit! Since when is it legal to try to have a judge removed to help your case?
