another human being. I have never felt so angry.
Everything Bush does proves he hate us all. All of
us who dont have his braintype. Bush you are a pig a glutton and giant hunk of shit. You are an
embaresment to me and my family. You pig, you took my money I paid to taxes and blew it on your
type,.......and you let my beloved brothers and sisters...........in new orleans die like animals.
You are trying to divide all my peoples........you
will not........we are better than you.....we love one
another.........support one another.........
YOU WILL FALL IN YOUR PIG TROFF with all your type.
I HATE YOU FOR WHO AND WHAT YOU ARE.
BROTHERS AND SISTER OF NEW ORLEANS.........I am eternally sorry that this PIG has hurt you so.....
please know you are loved by millions who have
SkREAMED for you ........and the SkREAMING has only begun.
I LOVE you poor peoples of my land. RISE to live...
Rise to love..........Rise and grow again.
I will buy 5 greyhound bus rides to donate. I will
also give those 5 people food money to get to their family. I do not know how to give this to one of the families............any idea.

Rhonda,
I got this email today, which provides many links for how one can help.
Yes! Magazine is a great resource--very constructive.
------------------------------------------------
Dear Reader,
In the coming days and months, there will be time to discuss why New Orleans was so unprepared, why the obsession with foreign threats is blinding our leaders to the dangers ordinary people face here at home, and how we can all learn to live with the climate chaos we have unleashed.
Meanwhile --- right now --- there is a human tragedy continuing to unfold along the Gulf Coast and among the hurricane's refugees. First things first.
What can you do to help?
You can offer housing to refugees, especially if you live within 300 miles of the affected zone. Go to the emergency national housing site set up by MoveOn: http://www.hurricanehousing.org/
You can make a badly needed donation of money. At my blog, http://www.yesmagazine.org/svgblog/ you can find a list of groups that are assisting disaster victims.
In addition to the Red Cross and other relief groups, there are some grassroots organizations with a track record of effective work in the areas hardest hit by Katrina. These groups need help meeting the emergency needs of people in their area.
You'll find links to these and to other organizations recommended for the quality of their work as well as articles on the relationship of this tragedy to global warming at http://www.yesmagazine.org/svgblog/
Your support for locally based groups can be especially effective in helping alleviate the immediate suffering of Katrina victims and their hopes for a better future.

This is not a failure of leadership David. This is the script. You can take bush comments literally, hes telling the literal truth, word for word.
Do you believe the emminent domain/condemned property Supreme Court ruling was for someone else, not you? Do you believe the bankruptcy anti-protection laws passed in CONgress and set to go into effect, were for someone else, not you? Do you believe the real estate/housing bubble, housing purchased on credit and about to "pop", won't crash land and property values, won't effect you? Do you believe that the poor and middle classes will be able to "hang on" to their property under the pressure of just these laws?
Oh yes, trent lott will have a grand new mansion. "...a fantastic house", the poor and middle class will buy it for him. Our peoples property will remain underwater until such time as it is destroyed and declared "condemned". The land barons will purchase the properties for pennies on the dollar value. The people will lose everything and all rights to their homes and property.
Is that a failure of leadership? Is it not "... the worst kind of weapon you can imagine..."
"...and now we're going to try to comfort people in that part of the world. Thank you."
Thank you indeed.
Now then, are you facing a possible "natural disaster" or "terrorist attack" in your neighborhood next month? Or will you escape "... the worst kind of weapon you can imagine..." until after Christmas?

This little man makes me want to puke.He is a criminal.I just read on Democratic underground that they held the relief to coincide with Bush's visit. Now how sick is that? Just so he could get some good photo ops. I'm sick of hearing the government say how generous the American people are,Like this is what they are depending on,instead of doing their jobs. I've also read where they are turning down experienced specialists help from other countries.WHAT? this is just sick. They don't want the other countries seeing how we do not know what in the hell we are doing.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! I've heard it all. Bad enough that he gets off Air Force One, grinning from ear to ear and waving to the crowd like a movie star. Bad enough he spends time posing for photos with celebrity hounds while people are dying of sunstroke on rooftops.. Now he's feeling sorry for an a-hole like Trent Lott, who has a second house to go to? God Almighty!

If you could associate me with any party is would be Libertarian. Now, I don't see how Bush's comments in that video were disconnected, racist, or bad in any way.
As for Bush and conservatives being racist, racism is prevalent in all parties, countries, states, etc. In fact, I can't imagine many would disagree with the idea that percentage wise "minorities" are more racist than the majority, but then of course the liberal folk would say they have a right to feel that way.
I guess the democrats in this country are so desperate they scrutinize every second of every action Bush makes. Heck, if Jesus himself were on video there would be a blog here slamming him..
Oh and I'd have plenty to ay about the Republicans too, but you guys have said enough. The best thing this country could to is allow other parties better access to the media and more importantly the elections. Democracy as it is supposed to exist does not exist as most of us really don't have a choice in elections dues to suppressive acts by both the Republicans and Democrats.

Appalling! Jaw-droppingly appalling!
Does this administration's inertia seem more like a Nazi Fishbowl Experiment than neglect? As each day passes, I'm beginning to think so.
For years (decades, really), I've had no faith in government. At least, I thought I didn't. I knew the whore White House, whore Congress, and all the other whore agencies, privatized or not, were composed of thieves, blowhards, bullies, and brutes. That's their nature. Leopard's spots, scorpion on the fox, etc. They tax us silly (the not rich us), ship our jobs overseas, deny us any legal recourse, foul our food and air, and confiscate our property at will. But when I found myself shocked at their lack of response to Katrina victims, I realized I must have had *some* sort of faith in government.
Now it's totally shattered.
I know it doesn't even matter now that Diebold is another layer of Big Brotherdom in this PNACracy, but when people vote in 2006 (and many will despite deliberately placed obstacles by the PNACracy), if anyone votes for an incumbent, ANY incumbent, THEY ARE INSANE!!!!! Not one member of Congress is worth wiping my ass with.
I just want to shriek to the soldiers out there, "You're pointing your guns at the wrong enemy!"

I probably won't be sending money to the Red Cross or any other charity for the poor victims of this devastating storm and subsequent govermental fuckup debacle. The feds have done everything in their power to not anticipate or prepare for this predicted catastrophe, and to actually exacerbate it by cutting infrastructure and FEMA funds and allowing wetland development. If the time comes when mega-rich celebrities, industrialists and politicians *give until it hurts* maybe I'll start giving again. In the meantime, we'll all be contributing to the *charities* at the gas pump and insurance agencies and in taxes. I'm sincerely sorry Katrina victims - I can't afford more.

Our president "makes no mistakes" and has "no shame", because he continues to be more and more corrupted by power.
Our ancestors told us that "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely". There are toxins in the power of our world for some reason, this saying tells us.
The antidote is humility, love, admitting mistakes, and a touch of shame at times.
In rejecting the antidotes and instead becoming addicted to the toxins, our president (and anyone else doing the same), has taken a tragic path.
A path that has how brought "Shock and Awe" to the "Homeland".

You are right, this has happened to us, not only to those "in that part of the world". If only the "leader of the free world" knew that.
If only the officials who let them suffer for days, who failed to protect the levees those officials built and neglected(link here), and who have motives like RLM #11, 25 speaks of.
If only they realized we cannot get away with mistreating the earth or "that part of the world" anywhere.
I really feel, after listening to NPR reporting from a survey ship in the Gulf area, that the federal money will mostly be spent bailing out the oil industry.
They have taken a hit that rivals pearl harbor. The news report said "hundreds" of small oil platforms are missing without a trace, and perhaps dozens of big ones. He thinks the pipelines are broken and leaking oil into the gulf.
The engineer on the research vessel estimated "at least a year" before the damage is repaired. The full story is being hidden as usual.
But lets not forget that traditionally the big hurricanes hit in September.

Why don't they forget for a little while about the f**king crude oil and put these workers on something more important like building tarpaper barracks buildings to temporarily house them until they can begin getting their lives back together? I am sick of all this. Holding up relief supplies so the Paranoid President can have a photo op in front of a convoy of trucks bringing in food and water. I haven't seen much coverage of George on the GROUND but what I have seen it is obvious he is being protected by his SS from the people. He does background checks on everyone before they can appear at his PUBLIC events so I rather guess they needed 5 days to make sure he was protected from Real America. I am a conspiracy theorist and PROUD of it. I don't doubt for a minute that HAARP technology played a part in this disaster. I thought we were looking at $5 a gallon gas, guess it has to be $10 for Bushco, Katrina needed a little nudge from HAARP to wipe out the oil supply so the zillionaire speculaters could rake it in. I don't have the money to send to the Red Cross, my money is being given to Halliburton and KBR by Psychopath George. I believe the interest rates on housing are low because when this bubble bursts these houses are going to be owned by the banks, just another part of the plan. The Neocons do not believe that the public has a right to own land. We will all live in corporate owned housing, tents, cars, or under the bridge. Cheney is missing, I am sure he is planning the next 'shock and awe' event to put the FEAR OF GOD (Bush?) in all of us. The Neocons hate America. I keep telling my Republican son to do his homework and find out how his party has been hijacked by a small group of fascists whose only goal is World Domination. He is not loved by this regime anymore than I am, and I laugh when he tells me he voted for Bush based on Moral Values. I finally gave up on the argument I used about fearing for my grandson's future. He has none and his father and his ilk will have no one to blame but themselves. I have detached. NO ONE is exempt from this evil regime except the zillionaire club. He will be under the bridge just like the rest of us. Sick, sick, sick. I am going to go vomit now.

Merifour: Have you read books by David Icke? I have read a couple and will read more. I think the conspiracy theory makes a lot of sense, and connects a lot of dots, and I am very interested in researching more. The term "conspiracy theorist" has a very negative connotation, but who knows, it could all be the truth. Still I don't talk about it much to others, because I don't know who I can trust to be open-minded enough to even consider its reality. I wish very much that I would meet others who were interested in conspiracy, but I know no one personally.
I am not familiar with NAARP. Are you saying that you think it possible that the hurricane was purposely manufactured? I have read that some people believe controlling the weather is possible, including David Icke.
One of my strongest beliefs is the importance of an open-mind to all possibility. We do not know if our govt has the technology to have created Katrina. We also do not know that they don't. If we keep our mind open to both possibilities, our perspective will be wider, and we will see more as the facts emerge.

I have a very open mind and that is why I know what I know. I read, compare, research, analyse and am not easily led. I suggest anyone venturing into this avenue of exploration do the same. I am a seeker of truth. I ask and I receive. When information comes I take what I need and let go of the rest. I know what feels right to me and I know what doesn't. I ask no one to believe what I say, but to do their own research. My missives are peppered by MY beliefs....so that is that. And I forgot to put this in paragraphs again........duh.

My latest letter to the editor:
-------------------------------
Dear Concord Monitor Editorial Staff:
Hurricanes are a national security issue. The Bush administration just showed us how it will deal with the next 9/11, global warming, declining oil production, and epidemic outbreaks.
Bush cut funds for the levees in New Orleans to pay for war against a country with no ties to 9/11, no ties to Osama Bin Laden, and no WMD. He gutted FEMA and staffed it, like his other appointments, with people whose only qualification is
loyalty to the Republican party over and above loyalty to American people and our Constitution.
The Result is 1800 dead Americans, 100,000 dead Iraqi civilians, and God knows how many thousands dead in New Orleans. In Iraq $12 billion has been given to Cheney's firm through no-bid contracts, $9 billion has been lost (just gone, no one knows where), and 10,000 human beings have been detained without trial. Detention without trial is a fundamental violation and a threat to democracy. So is torture: Sean Baker, an innocent American tortured by mistake; Maher Arar, innocent Canadian tortured by mistake; Manadel Al Jamadi, hung from the ceiling and beaten to death. Was he a terrorist? We'll never know because the Bush administration abandoned the Constitutionally mandated requirement for due process.
The Bush administration is not protecting the American people, not upholding their oaths to protect and defend the Constitution, and they are looting the federal treasury.
The Declaration of Independence tells us that government derives its “just Powers from the consent of the governed.” It's time for Americans to withdraw our consent, using the tools bequeathed to us by Constitution, and hold accountable what will certainly be recorded as the most corrupt administration in U.S. history. Please lend your voice in any way you can. Letters to editors and elected officials are a good start.

While some may say not to hate (and believe me, I feel what you do) , if you want to direct it to the best target, it has to be your /our fellow americans and that includes the press and our patronage of it.
As I've told friends for years, W is just being W. He is propelled and sustained by the rest of us, unfortunately. Ann Richards had it right about Bush the elder too. "Poor George, he can't help it if he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth."
Their lack of empathy (yes pathology as stated on this site) is a result of their insular lifestyle and lack of true intellectual curiosity and ability to recognize nuance and complexity in everyday life. They fear it. But so too, people of all economic levels in the U.S. have a tendency to do the same.
We all have to keep beating the drum for the rest of our countyrymen until they get the rhythm!
I'm writing to Dr. Phil to put his prestige and money on the line to at some point - if not during his shows from TX next week, which may not be appropriate - to also speak up and address this issue of our population, elected officials and press.
We want simple black and white, fast answers to everything, wear the rose-colored glasses all day and stick our heads in the sand when it really gets tough. He can really help the mental health of our nation if he tackles this. I'd love to have any and all help me and write to him too!

In at least these 2 points of your most (and probably more) you are wrong.
1) Minorities in this country are not more racist - they (black Americans) would not have been as forgiving and non-violent in all these years since slavery if that was true and their response to being imprisoned at the CC and Superdome would be different. And that issue is not all about race but too complex to elaborate on here.
2) Your way of thinking about elections in this country are what keeps you and the rest of us trapped in what we have for a system. True about how the lock on power is on this day, but if people were not so resigned to that fate it would change.
And I've got to stick-up for Pelosi, Doug. She isn't a sell-out, but keep in mind, we the people and our laziness perpetuates the false choices we have to make in elections and the lies candidates have to tell to win. We can only hope they truly have a greater good in mind and stick to it when they sell their souls in the process.

To Iso:
I myself don't know if "weather manipulation" is possible (beyond cloud seeding of course), and it certainly looks like the OIL infrastructure is the one thing the Bushites are falling over themselves to provide relief to while they let the hurricane victims suffer, so even if it were possible to "manipulate" it I would agree with you that this doesn't appear to be a conspiracy, but an enormous natural disaster that was preventable but for criminal negligence and when it happened the federal government's response was disgraceful and certainly cost many more lives unnecessarily in addition to those they caused by negligence.
About some other things however there can be no doubt that the government caused it, for example 9/11. The vast preponderance of evidence all points to one unavoidable conclusion: 9/11 was an inside job. Though as I said there is a mountain of evidence condemning them, all one has to do to quickly see that 9/11 was an inside job and the "official" 9/11 story is impossible is to watch the video footage of the "collapses" of the Twin Towers and WTC # 7 and it is readily apparant they were controlled demolitions. You don't have to be an engineer or a demolitions expert to plainly see the explosions, also see the "squibs" of dust jetting out of windows near the blasts and watch as each building comes down in nine seconds (for the Twin Towers that's more than ten floors "collapsing" per second!!), freefall rate, a feat impossible by the laws of physics UNLESS explosives were used to disintegrate everything holding the building up, i.e. a controlled demolition. Funny how the mainstream media was all over it until it became known it was not just any anthrax but weaponized anthrax of the variety the U.S. government has a patent for with the trail leading to the Army's biological warfare lab at Fort Detrick, then all of a sudden the media drops the anthrax story like a hot potato...

#44 Kraig, I mentioned before that I have done a lot of 'homework'and will continue to do so. I use the "Follow The Money" and "Who Benefits" from any disaster, invasion, war, etc. as a basis for my search. I share what I know with others, what they choose to do with what I say is up to them. I always preface my statements by 'I believe'. Perhaps I have failed to do so on this blog but know that what I say is MY belief.
I also have been a student of Metaphysics for 30 years and know that I will never really "KNOW". I am also not afraid to say I was wrong, or to change my mind. All life is a process and I will never stop learning, that is why I find so much value on this site. Thank you for your imput but appealing to the people regarding the 'simple thing's' is not on my agenda.
I believe what we are witnessing today is the result of years of planning. Only by researching our past and delving into areas considered 'conspiracy' can we piece together this enormous puzzle. Everything happening is part of a greater picture. Katrina was one more event that needs very close scrutiny and some background knowledge to understand why this catastrophe happened. I could start getting real esoteric right now, I feel it coming ....so will close for now....or I will really be off topic!

ISO: So you think that I should make myself be interested in other things to be more effective.
Briefly, I will explain why I believe knowledge of the possibility of a conspiracy is important. I believe the powers that are in control, are playing both sides of every conflict; they are playing the people involved as you'd control puppets. They now control much of the world. Their goal is to control the world. Everything they plan is to further this agenda.
So many liberals and democrats are saying "wake up everyone". These people want us to all wake up to the fact that neo-cons have taken over the Rub party. I say wake up everyone to the fact that it matters not who you vote for, the one who wins the election may do things differently, but the agenda is the same. Unless we start to wake up to what is going on in the big picture we cannot stop the agenda from moving forward. We cannot stop something if we do not see it's occurring. For example, the democrats may be able to keep Roberts off the supreme court, so they could win that battle, that small thing. But the agenda of the powers that be will move on. Possibly, we will soon find ourselves in a war with Iran because that is what is needed for global domination. If we are attacked with a nuclear weapon and we are told that Iran did it, will America support going to war with Iran? I believe that America will, because not enough people yet can accept that maybe, just possibly, it was all set up to get just that response from us: hate, revenge, war.

If we were attacked by a nuclear weapon, and Bush accused Iran of doing it but Iran denied doing it...I'd believe Iran.
If Bush told me the Earth was round, I'd start to worry that it was really flat after all.
If Bush told me there was no Santa Claus, I'd start to believe again along with my grandchildren.
If Bush's mother told me everything was going just fine for the folks in New Orleans, I'd know it's even worse than we've been told in "that part of the world."
If Haley Barbour told me Bush was doing a great job, I'd know he's the second biggest liar extant.
If Bush told me black was white, I'd say, "In your world, it is. You've told the truth for once."

#48 Jean. I totally agree with you. I have read some other posts on some of the other threads and should have done so days ago. All the rumors regarding a 'terrorist attack' and blaming Iran were talked about. I had read about that on a web site but didn't bring it up previously, then I saw that there was a couple of threads on it on this blog. I have been wondering since Katrina (same time frame) how Bushco would connect Iran to NO. I believe this hurricane was helped along with Scalar Electromagnetics (ie: Tesla technology and HAARP)I believe 911 was an inside job to get the PNAC agenda rolling. Bushco is ruthless. He is a every bit as evil as Stalin and Hitler.
#45 Kraig, my apology to you in my comment meant for ISO. I concur with your thinking on 911, but also believe, as I mentioned above, the US does have weather control technology.....top secret.
I believe Katrina was about OIL, genocide and as an aside, an experiment in implementing marshall law. I also believe NO will be rebuilt for the zillionaires..prime real estate you know.

Well, regardless of how the actual hurricane itself came about, the federal government's response was a national disgrace in a disaster that was fairly predictable with ample warning. And yes, I also agree that this will be a big windfall for the HELLiburton- KBR bastards and their ilk in terms of rebuilding, and when they get into the actual rebuilding process we'll probably see something that could easily be called "gentrification".

A browser glitch kept me from completing my last entry...sorry.
M. I noted and appreciated your clear openness and emphasis on what are 'your beliefs.' As I say, I don't KNOW so many things either, but my point is that if various details are followed in our politics and events, then conspiracies will be less likely to be launched because people will be paying attention all along the way to any lies, over-focus on distraction tactics and not putting people in power that are dishonest or part of a 'machine' with any one particular agenda, etc.
And as equally important: Most of your fellow Americans will not be responsive to charges of 'conspiracy' and therefore discount most if not all of what you say and in that you would only help conspirators. You will be written off and they will feel comforted in their complacency.

Not saying this with antagonistic intent, but are you saying we are here for individual enlightenment, not to show that 'light' to the rest? Because you refer to the purpose of our being, but also say you don't care about those coming after... I wasn't clear.

ISO. No, I am not saying we are working for individual enlightenment per se. I am saying that I believe our reason for incarnation is to attain Christ Consciousness as a Soul Group, however it does begin with ones self. Some are further ahead than others, as I mentioned above. Always there are those that are further along on the path. There are many paths. All paths lead to the same place.
I qualified my statement that I cared not where those coming behind were, just that they arrive.
My concern being that they may not but that will not stop the Group from moving forward. Everyone is on their own timetable. I also believe that those ahead clear the path (light the light) for those coming behind. So yes, the light brightens as each individual gets in touch with their soul self.
Soul Physics is a science unto itself and I certainly am not one to dare to say I have all or any of the answers. I only can share what I believe. We are all One.
We are starting to get real metaphysical now and I think this is political blog so perhaps we need attend to the 'perceived' physical world. I don't want to get booted for being off topic as I don't know what all the rules are on this site.
I will end by saying Cindy Sheehan is a perfect example of what I am trying to say. She was the catalyst and because of her many people who were asleep have woken up.

My spiritual beliefs are similar to yours: our goal is to reunite with "God", we are all one, everyone is on a different path, moving at a different pace, but we will all get there someday, in our own time.
I read these sites and books about the global fascist state and mind control and our govt hurting its own people to advance the agenda. And it does get me down. I worry about the future of my children. I am having a hard time understanding what we should be doing. Some people say think positive thoughts, we create our own reality. I can believe this, but I think it may take much time before the collective of humanity is thinking positive thoughts, and things begin to change. Other people say that a spiritual awakening is occurring. I do not see it, and I do not have a timeline, but it gives me some hope. I have wondered if I should stop reading the negative stuff entirely, and just try to think happier thoughts. How do you mesh your spirituality with what is going on, in a way that gives you hope?
I do not think that Brad is that picky about staying on topic. I get the impression that he has deleted a few posts from trolls which are nasty and way off topic. We are talking about the world situation, but from a spiritual perspective, rather than politically.

Jean....right on, what do we do with our knowledge when everything is turned so upside down. I find it so hard to stay focused. I believe we are a part of a grand experiment and wonder if will we succeed or fail. Many great civilizations (IMO more advanced that ours) have come and gone from this planet. Did they destroy themselves..ie: Altlantis, Lemuria or did they 'graduate'.
Yes, I to have read the books, 'a spiritual awakening is happening'. I believed that for a long time and still must cling to that fact or I will loose all faith in humanity. I also believe that with awareness comes responsibility. Sometimes this is a big order and I wish I go back to where I was 30 years ago when my life was simple. But I have been to the top of the mountain and can not go back.
I must try to remember that all that is happening is just an illusion. I still get caught up in the details, I get angry, upset, scream, bitch, and then when I have become totally absorbed I have a moment of lucidity and detachment from the situation occurs.
The battle is constant and as we are a microcosm within the macrocosm, the battle must be waged if we are to win. I believe the light will destroy the darkness but damn it is hard work.
I believe this Age is coming to an end. I mentioned before..I believe this is a planetary initiation. I don't know if the light will win this time around. Some will graduate, that I do believe.
The events happening today all over the planet signify the end. I am watching this unfold and it causes me much pain. I believe that when a spirtual threshold has been reached, the darkness comes out in full force because it dying. Any and all methods are used against the Light. Fear is a weapon of the 'fallen ones' and they will use it to try to extinguish the Light.
So, to answer your question, I go where spirit leads me and right now it is to this blog. Guess this is where I am supposed to be right now. I wish I could be full of Bliss and think 'happy thoughts' all the time, but I guess I choose a different assignment. Or perhaps I am just not aware enough yet to be there. Time will tell.

Thanks for the response, Merifour. I did hope that with 30 years of metaphysical study, you had it all figured out and could give me the answer! It sounds like you too struggle to understand. I do not know how to apply my spiritual beliefs to my life. Also I have not found my passion, my life's purpose. I am raising young kids, and though I love raising my kids, I feel there is more I should be doing.
Interesting what you said that with awareness comes responsibility. I think that is true, and I feel I do have a different perspective to offer to others. But I have found no one who seems even remotely interested in anything I say. I get blank looks, and no response at all when I even bring up the word "spiritual". No one asks questions. So I feel disconnected from everyone else. I am not talking about conspiracy theory to people, or heavy spiritual concepts. I just put out feelers to detect common interest. So getting to "talk" to someone who has similar ways of thinking, even on a blog, has been a special occasion.

Jean, when I first began my spiritual journey I wanted to 'convert' everyone. I talked about everything I was learning to my friends and co-workers. They all thought I had been 'born again' omigod. This went on for a few years until I finally read an article that said do not attempt to convince others, they will begin to 'get it' on their time schedule. I than began to understand spiritual evolution.
I now have a few friends I share with. Some are all about politics, some about spirituality. I can understand your frustration. I searched 'alone' for 20 years. No one to share with. I did not have a Teacher and did not join any groups. I was very lonely. In retrospect I find that it was absolutely necessary that I do it alone. My beliefs were not colored by anyone else. I was able to prepare my foundation and move on from there.
Have you read Siddartha. He turned down the honor of being taught by Buddha as he felt he needed to experience and learn on his own, rather than be taught.
I believe in cosmic consciousness. I don't think we even need to talk in order for our message to get out. Just by reading a book you open the door for others because your are a conduit for truth. Meditation does the same. You are doing your work without even realizing it. You are forging ahead on the path, cutting the brush, so that those following will have an easier time.
We are all teachers and we are all students. I have much to learn and have changed my mind a zillion times! Everytime I thought I finally 'knew' I was given new information....thus coming to realize I can say without apology "I Don't 'Know'.
I believe you will meet someone, someday, hopefully soon, that you can share with. Do not feel you are alone....many, many, people are where we are, we have yet to meet them and that is ok. We have met each other...and that is how it works. Perhaps you are the reason I am here...who knows?

Merifour: It sounds like, at least in some ways, I am where you were 20-30 years ago. It's encouraging to know that you moved forward and can now see the goodness of your past situation.
I have never tried to convert anyone or even to talk to anyone on these subjects who has no interest. I understand that everyone is in a different place and that it is OK. But I have not figured out why I (and my husband) just do not click with many other people. I told my husband it seems that we are being told to concentrate our energy on the 4 members of our immediate family. Maybe for whatever reason, I just need to walk this path alone for now, and need to accept it, but it is so very lonely.
I will add Siddartha to the list of books I want to look into someday. The list is very long. I am most interested in reading the HAARP book soon.
You gave me a new insight I have not thought of. That we do not have to speak to get the message out. Is that because any thoughts, even thinking while reading a book, adds to the cosmic consciousness? See, that is why I wonder if I should stop reading conspiracy theory, because while reading that, and worrying about it afterwards, I am sending out negativity.
I know you are new to bradblog, and I had the same thought about maybe maybe we were meant to "meet". You never know. So I keep thinking, there might be some word of wisdom in your posts that I am meant to get right now. Sure hope I don't miss it!

I've been thinking about cosmic consciousness. Maybe when I read conspiracy theory, instead of thinking "We are being taken over by fascists and my children are going to suffer, Oh No!" I should think positive thoughts like "Impeach Bush and the whole neocon admin". And since so many people are now thinking that, it just may happen.
And now we are back on topic; this discussion started with a picture of Bush!

Jean...have been disconnected from my computer for a few days and am catching up. My mind is sort of jumbled right now. Anyway, when I started out I just prayed for guidance and to be surrounded by Christ Light so that I could be shown Truth. Some people can get caught up in the negativity and it is really important to protect yourself. I had 'aha' moments and felt really connected to truth. I went where Spirit guided me , I never quite knew why 'a book fell off the shelf', but went with it and it was really quite an amazing process. I went through rapid learning processes, 2-3 months, then time off while I assimilated the info and brought it into my consciouness. I began to see things differently, recognize symbols, sychronicity, etc. I believe that yes, when one, two, three, etc. are connected to the higher source we open a portal and the information than becomes available to the many. I don't know if I am making any sense right now but I feel you know what I am saying and understand. I am making a 'feeble' attempt to put some of my beliefs in a nutshell. LOL.
I believe in the ASK principal. Ask and you shall receive, Seek and you shall find, Knock and the door will open. I have only my experience to share. I also believe in 3 levels of learning... knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. I am still in the acquiring knowledge mode. Yes, those are straight out of the bible but I am not ready to get on that subject right now. You are right where you are supposed to be and the answers to your questions will come, (from all different sources) just because you asked! P.S. Your second post (#67) is proof of that..dah dah.
