In spite of her ignoring Rep. Kucinich's aticles of impeachment, I have always thought that Pelosi has bigger balls than Harry Reid.
The Democrats really needed to replace their leadership with people that have actual spines.

Pelosi and Reid have been ignoring "violations of law" for at least the last two years and,as a result, have been condoning such violations and been accessories to such criminality.
If anything positive is to happen on this front,Obama will have to do the spearheading and heavy lifting.
Reid and Pelosi are only interested in their paychecks and maintaining their "positive images" through strategic public relations.

If these violations are ignored it is a very slippery slope she launches us on. Bad precedent.
Bad President soon to be gone.

Sorry for the OT, but this has been rolling around my mind long enough...If I was in charge of the economic/intelligence community, I'd make sure everyone learns real quick...the path to the future is not built on slaughter (quick and otherwise.) And I'd know where and what blow-your-face-off is doing until his last treasonous breath!

Nancy Pelosi will be brought to justice as a co-conspirator with the criminal bush/cheney regime for acts of treason and war crimes.
Her failure to prosecute these neocon fascsists when it was deemed 'uncomfortable' in early 2007 has sealed her fate in history along with the worst president ever.
Nancy should resign at 12:01pm on January 20, 2009 to face the charges of obstruction of justice.

don't u think its because of their own complicity that the dems have drug their feet?
what's the law that says that the mother who stood by & let the father abuse the child should go to jail too?

This is Pelosi waking up to the implications of "there's a new sheriff in town", meaning that if she wants to keep her Speakership, she'd better get with the fucking program. Sounds like someone had a good long talk with Nancy.

Pelosi makes me sick.
She should be prosecuted right along with Bush and the rest of the Treasonous war criminals.
She is clearly complicit.

We are at a cross roads as a country. Are we an empire or republic? History is a good guide. The Roman senate would discuss the issues of the day, but did not take the NECESSARY decisive action to restrict the power of Cesear and punish him. If no investigation AND action is taken by Congress, I fear we are on the same path as the Romans.

Great, just what we need, now after the swearing in of Obama, Pelosi will drag the democrats out of the woodwork again, like clockwork, soon there will be some petition for us to send her to prosecute Bush.
The thing those (silent woodwork embedded) democrats don't get is that I've already burned the bridge to Pelosi back when I literally had to call her what she was.. An Oath Of Office breaker.
So your well meaning petition won't be signed by me. I am not dealing with oath breakers. Oh but you don't care.
The flip side to this is now she allegedly will take some kind of action against Bush Obama won't.
Let me ask the (woodwork embedded) democrats, all through the electronic voting problems where the hell were you? Do you think everything is fixed now?
If I was to sign your petition and get behind an oath breaker, doesn't it make one an oath breaker him or her self? I think it does. Furthermore, I think your deceiving yourself if you believe that electronic voting is no longer an issue.
You want to see real government change for the people and a real election? Get rid of electronics in our elections, public oversight doesn't mean a damn thing until then.
And as far as Pelosi goes. All you need to is look at the Constitution and how well that's been protected. Don't ask me to grovel at her feet. You can sell out your country's soul and do it.
I won't.
It's why you don't see me at the DU, or the RandiRhodesSMB, or other likely places. My comment format doesn't fit into the single paragraph one liner mentality that 90% of you won't even read.
The frustration is mutual. Either your going to loose your "we must get elected at any cost" mentality to that of looking at the wider picture of what that mentality has allowed to happen. I would have to say starting with the Constitution and working around to actual death as a consequence.
At this point the world holds US responsible for the actions of our government, and they are right to, because we have lost the tools to control our own government.
It's why my focus will be to outlaw all electronic voting machines. Go back to paper, public oversight, unbroken chain of custody, and community involvement. The Nay-Sayers only delay the ability of real constitutional and public change to be fulfilled. Build a foundation on cement and steel, not dried mud.
I won't sign a dried mud petition. Enough is enough. Circulate your mud petitions on the Corporate fascist media outlets.
If your best friend stole from you and killed your dog. So you called them a piece of crap, and told them to get the hell out of your home, you wouldn't turn around and invite them back a year later and offer them coffee and doughnuts.
OR would you?

For a perfect example. I have to say there's really only a hand full of people who care about getting rid of electronics in our elections.
Exhibit A:
http://citizensbriefingb...apexp?id=087800000004xTa
Only 26 people agreed. That can't be right 26 people out of the millions that were screwed?
Now you know why I say "woodwork embedded democrats."

I'm not surprised that Pelosi is starting to act like she supports a Congressional investigation. It works like this. As Phil said above, a bunch of organizations will ask the sheeple to sign petitions to conduct a Congressional investigation and/or appoint a “special” prosecutor. Naturally, Pelosi and the cover-up crowd in Congress, most all of them, will bow to the will of the sheeple. Like they did with that bank robber bailout bill that everyone wanted them to pass, right?
Since everyone wants an investigation except for Bush, Cheney, and their minions, the support for it will be overwhelming. So, Congress will decide to conduct a “thorough investigation.” Naturally, a bi-partisan, blue-ribbon commission will explain that it was a magic bullet shot back in November of 1963 that caused WTC Building 7 to demolish itself which trigged seismic waves which led everyone to believe that Saddam had some kind of WMD.
Thank goodness that “investigation” was done. Move on, go back to work if you have a job. Otherwise, maybe you should join the military police, we’ve got this war of terror on drugs to win, prisons to build, etc.
I’m still just really thankful that all those terrorists that were out to destroy America didn’t figure out how all of the illegal immigrants slipped across the Mexican border. For more on that, If I were a Terrorist.

"Now" she wakes up ??
As far as I'm concerned; by not doing her constitutionally mandated task of holding Bushco accountable 'in a timely manner' , she made herself a 'conspirator' to his crimes.
BOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!

do you remember this
said on 1/24/2009 @ 11:21 pm PT...
go to that date,
when she said that "impeachment was off, the table" do you remember that? Look carefully at her body language, look at her eyes, she really looked scared, as if she said something wrong, she, or her family could have been threatened. and do you recall 911?
and remember that those in office has had connections to the enron scandal..
