Darth Cheney, speaking to underling on video screen: "You set the earthquake ray too deep. That commie Brad Blog website still lives. You have failed me for the last time..."
(closes fist, underling chokes to death.)

Apparently it was epicentered six miles below Chino Hills. Funny thing, though - MSNBC's crawl says the quake was "near Downtown Los Angeles." I guess from 3,000 miles across the continent, 40 miles away appears to be "near" Downtown, but for us locals Chino Hills is out in the big nowhere, halfway to Palm Springs.
No damage here in West Hollywood, about four miles from BBWHQ. In fact, my 5 month old cat did not even wake up.

Hey Brad
Wasn't that fun? My cat was not a happy camper - I'm surprised yours slept through it.

This sensor map looks like Walnut got it the worst.

I'm down in San Diego and I didn't feel anything at all, though some of my co-workers came in and said "DID YOU FEEL IT??????"

Hope all is well and stays well ~ The Great Sky Palomino says earthquakes are dinosaurs revenge for disturbing their sacred burial grounds . . .

Pamela L. -
Our cat (earthquake detector) died a few years back
I on the other hand (new earthquake detector?) could not sleep the entire night for reasons unknown. Didn't go to bed until 6:30am or so, for an hour or two.

Yuh, I always become unaccountably ultra-sad in the hours before a big quake. Even when our walking around minds don't know, something in us really does know. I mean, we probably shouldn't mention it to the scientists because they'll pitch hissies about empirical proof, etc, etc, but I've been in some doozies in my day and every time there was sudden pervasive glumness, like someone had just died, in the hours right before it hit. Other than that, when they're not too big, they're kind of fun.

Glad BBWHQ is still standing.
(Sarcasm) too bad the epicenter wasn't centered on one or more of the fascist Television broadcast stations...
(Back to Serious again)
I just posted this on Bradblog's | DVN News as a reply. I think it needs some discussion.
What's changed in the 2008 version of the Holt Bill?
BOHICA, are we suddenly now supporting the crapped up HR 811 Holt bill again?!
