"Feeney said that Scalia's remarks may have damaged chances for his resolution's passage, since they will probably be quoted by its opponents."
Oh poor little baby - wah wah wah!
The arrogance of these people never ceases to amaze me.
A spanking is only the first thing they deserve.

When I wear my Clint Curtis shirt around the 24th district people ask me who is Tom, when I answer feeney the invariably have a derogatory remark to say about him. It is clear the only way he can get reelected is to flip the vote.
To prevent a vote flip we need Clint to be so far ahead in the polls it would be evident it is a rigged election. To do this will cost money so if you can spare a couple of bucks Clint will certainly appreciate it and you can know you have done a thing you can be proud of in the years to come.

Thanks for wearing that shirt, the negative response to Feeny is encouraging! Keep up the crusade there in Florida.

False. As of this moment, that statement is highly misleading. Curtis has to win a primary first. He's being outfundraised by his primary opponent by more than 25:1.

Re # 9
I thought I was the only one who knew that! I really worry that Clint doesn't have focus. My kids live in the area and the tell me that everyone knows Clint's opponent but no one has ever heard of Clint in Seminole and Orange Counties. He can't go after Feeney until he beats his democrat primary opponent!

Who let the feeney weenies out? You trolls should be spending your time keeping Kathern Harris out of the nut house and the bankruptcy court.
After all too much kool aid is not healthy and results in lies and distortions of reality, where the polls and the will of the people do not matter.
Until election time.
Bye feeney, bye Harris, good riddance. Get some therapy.
Listen nut case Scalia, you stop fondling elections and the feeney weenies will not fondle your decisions. Capeesh?

We here are well aware of the wonderful and excellent work of BBV led by Bev Harris. She has good support from Jim March and the BBV crew.
These BBV folks are true patriots and deserve the Medal of Honor.
You sick fascists that spend time bringing down democracy are going to meet your fate. And that means a swift kick in the ass.

HASTERT SPANKS CHENEY
House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL) "engaged in a high-decibel rant last week when he met with Vice President Dick Cheney," Robert Novak reports. "The speaker was enraged by the sacking of his friend and former colleague, Porter Goss."
"Hastert was so vituperative that a private session with President Bush in the living quarters of the White House was scheduled immediately."
"That wrath reflects the feeling in the House Republican cloakroom that Goss, who gave up a safe congressional seat from Florida for a thankless cleanup mission at the CIA, is being made a scapegoat for the government's intelligence mess. But Hastert's discontent goes beyond the CIA. The GOP mood on Capitol Hill, particularly the House, is poisonous." (Raw Story here, bold added).
The republican dictatorship is shooting holes in itself from bow to stern these days.
Leak on Mr. Preznit, Mr. Whatever in chief, Mr. Shoot-holes-in-the-Ship-of-State in chief. Tucker Carlson, on Hardball friday, said he wishes he could get his vote for Bush back, cause he would not have voted for him if he knew the truth about him.
I wonder if this means that Hastert was one of those guys frequenting the poke her parties at Watergate? And is just pissed off cause he ain't gonna get any more? A bratty tirade, hissy fit, or a temper tantrum?

BEWARE - if you're tempted to visit the blackboxwatchdog.com website mentioned by Bailey77--I've been warned that this website plants a not-very-nice tracking cookie on your computer to keep track of what website "referred" you and god knows what else.
Don't say you weren't warned.
Brad, if you're going to leave Bailey77's post up, you might want to consider de-hotting the link so readers don't click on the link without knowing the implications.
If you've visited this site you might want to disinfect with a suitable product. (Spybot Search & Destroy was recommended to me; it can be downloaded for free for home use. There are many other products also available to get rid of unwanted information-gathering devices planted by websites such as the one mentioned above.)

These Republican Christo-fascists family and moral
values do-gooders have their asses on fire with all this high financial wheelings and dealings and corruption that this party got themselves involved in. They know come November 2006 this may not likely be a nail biter election,.. which is much to their chagrin,.. if the election is not close it makes it very difficult to throw the election and steal the
elective office in each contest in which they ran. This reality must be very "unsettling" to the Republican Party,.. for they have spent years to
hone the proper skills to steal elections with barely at identifiable trace. If they are down 15% to 25%
in the polls,.. it makes it very difficult to game and steal an election because it will stick out like a sore thumb.
Expect these Republican snakes to employ every
diversionary tactic in the book to divert attention
from their deplorable conduct while the party of the majority. Guns,.. gays,.. God,.. restraint of the judicial branch and control of the brown skinned
illegal immigrant criminal element will be issues that will be hammered relentlessly by these Republican Fascists.
Expect too that Choicepoint will be working over time to scrub as many lower income Black voters and "felons" from the voting rolls as can possibly be done. New Democratic voters registration cards finding their way into the trash receptacles. Excessive voting machine assigned to Republican precincts with precious few operational voting machines in Democratic areas. Every dirty trick
will come forth from the Republican black bag tool box of nasty ideas. This party in power has no desire to relinquish that power they have gained over us. They will fight tooth and nail to assure they maintain a firm grip on the reins of power. If the Democrats become the party of the majority it will shake the foundations of the Republican Party.
Congressional Hearing will expose even more
corruption and criminality this Republican Party has
perpetrated against this country,.. but has thus far managed to conceal.
The mid-term elections for November 2006 are not going to be easy nor pretty,... but rather a foaming at the mouth rabid dog fight. Speaking truth to power,... that is the last thing this gang of fascists wants to hear. They should be dragged,.. kicking and screaming,.. to the gallows.

it never ceases to amaze me how some people are so anxious to garner attention for themselves that they will actively denigrate the quality work of others. the circular shooting gallery lives.
tell me, Bailey77, did you know about this flaw two years ago? did you say anything back then, or in the intervening years and months until Bev advanced the story with additional information and analysis?
then STFU. you didn't get the word out there to a nationwide audience --- Bev Harris, and now Brad have done that work on your behalf.
the fact that this is not a 'new' study does not make the facts less relevant or less true. What are you hoping to gain? is it just that you want to be sure that BBV and BradBlog get not one iota more credit than you have decided they deserve? how selfish. how stupid.
i hope Brad leaves Backstabber Bailey's "comment" up there for all to see. let people draw their own conclusions about the motives of the "source".
and then lets all get back to the real work at hand --- saving our elections.

You can download and install Ad aware. After installing, first update the definition file - follow the instructions in the program.
This program is free and will search your computer for things that cause popups and track your web browsing etc.
It is a good idea to run it often to keep your computer clean.
After it scans you will see several file tabs. The first will be Negligable items. These are ok to leave. There will be another tab with Critical Objects. You will want to open that tab, right click and choose "select all" then click the "Next Button". They will then be removed.
It will not find viruses etc. For that you should have an anti-virus program. I use AVG Anti virus free edition and like it a lot. (If you have an antivirus program be sure to keep it up to date. If your subscription has expired and you want to give AVG a try - be sure to uninstall your current antivirus program before installing AVG - I didn't and it crashed my computer!)

Yup. Looks like "Feeney's Weenies" are turning out. (That's not my name for them, btw, that the name that Feeney's staffers apparently gave themselves when they participated as a team in a 5k run fundraiser...or something, can't recall the exact deets).
Anyway, in response to "Mitch":
As of this moment, that statement is highly misleading. Curtis has to win a primary first. He's being outfundraised by his primary opponent by more than 25:1.
While I'd be delighted to see the corrupt Feeney removed by anyone who runs against him, the statement about the fundraising of Curtis' primary opponent, Dr. Andy Michaud, is inaccurate as far as I can tell.
Michaud's campaign coffers seem to consist largely of money he has put in himself to his own campaign as opposed to "fundraising". In the meantime, Curtis' campaign is currently funded completely by citizen donations.
If Michaud has raised a lot of money lately, I'm happy to hear it. Though I'd not be surprised if the bulk of it came from Feeney supporters who'd rather do *anything* but face Curtis this November.

#12 the solution to your post is to tell at least 4 people every day about Clint and his blog as wellas his web site. I also direct them to bradblog as well as crooks and liars.
If we can enlighten just one person a day that in turn does the same we will win.

BARRYG,
I've been doing that and I've ordered bumper stickers as well. I've been driving around for a year with the green and yellow "Who is Clint Curtis?" stickers and must say, they've prompted more than a few questions!
You are right though...more work and less worry! I will be visiting the kids this summer and I intend to volunteer for Clint while I'm there and I've talked the kids into helping as well. It will be my honor!

Mr. Bowtie is now sorry he voted for Bush? Look at it this way, Tucker-boy...You built a broadcasting career around the guy. You were just a smart-ass on Crossfire, no journalistic credentials to speak of, nothing but clever witticisms and a boyish smile that appealed to middle-aged women in the red state universe.
Bush made you a star. You were part of his gang. Now he's at 29%, so being in that gang is dangerous, right? Just pretend you're a dot-com stock, this is 2001, and the NASDAQ has fallen 80%. Go find a real job...and chuck the bowtie.

To DES: to correct the record when you say "the fact that this study is not new..."
The information has now been confirmed as both new and devastating. Here is what I posted at DU which has now been reposted by Kster there:
++++++++++++++++++++++++
The purpose of this thread is to first correct the record because Dr. Jones and Harri Hursti were drug through the mud [on DU] and they didn't deserve that. Then I hope we can all move on to cooperation so we can achieve an emergency solution by the November elections. I hope this thread will be used to discuss solutions and I have some info on that below after setting the record straight. I commend the individual for apologizing and I hope that the report will now be used to make changes happen as soon as possible.
From Blackboxvoting.com Update [from David Allen]: "I received an email from Prof. Doug Jones that he felt his comments were being misread, in view of my editorial remarks. I wish to make it quite plain that all remarks outside the specific quotation are mine, and my views must not in any way be construed to represent Prof. Jones' views. I offer this space to him to further clarify his views and I sincerely apologize to him that my comments have caused him distress. "-- David Allen
Dr. Jones himself emphasizes in letters to Russell Michaels of Votergate that the Hursti findings are devastating. He says the three-level architecture with a separate back door in each level, which can be used separately or combined, has not been reported before.
DOUG JONES "Hursti and I appear to be in pretty clear agreement about this interpretation. It appears, however, that there are spin-mongers (spinsters?) who are out there to put another spin on this. Oh, they say, Hursti didn't report anything new. This appears to be an effort to discredit Hursti and those of us who consider his report important.
Dr. Jones goes on to say that Hursti
"gets credit for exposing the fact that Diebold made not one vulnerability of this type, but three separate ones, each of which, in isolation, is sufficiently bad to allow an outsider to take over the system, and which can, indeed, be combined."
Dr. Jones elaborates in response to this question by Russell Michaels:
RUSS: The "offense in depth" attack Harri identifies which could be used to conceal the contamination by an attacker and which could 're-infect the system also seems an important new discovery. Is there any evidence that this deep penetration attack has been properly documented before by anyone?
PROF. DOUG JONES: No, Hursti gets credit here.
The BBV site posts part of another email by Dr. Jones, this one written to Bev Harris:
Dr. Jones: They've pushed several new versions of the TSx firmware through certification since then, so they can't claim that they didn't have the opportunity to correct anything yet. David Allen's editorial comment that he appended to what I'd said fails to capture this. I don't understand why he feels inclined to add such a putdown, because it's certainly not how I read what he quoted of my E-mail response to him.
++++++++++++++++++++++++
We should be leveraging this information now that Hursti has found it and layed it out in detail so they can't even spin it very well now.
Maybe the EAC knew about it. Maybe NASED new about it. Maybe the ITAs knew. If any of them did, people need to go to prison after being exposed on national TV for the sellouts they are.
Brad should be credited for reporting the differences between RABA and Hursti II even before Dr. Jones had to come out and correct the record.
