Government needs to stop blaming the voters for election fraud and start blaming the election officials to whom the accountability belongs.
Voter ID is a sham effort to shift the accountability away from officials charged with a duty to protect the voters.
It is just another form of blaming the victims.

Working again, but for how long, I feel I am alone in the BB universe...where are our computer experts when we need them!

I was having the same problem yesterday. I couldn't get connected, then all of a sudden it hooked right up, but then I couldn't get the comments to open.
I don't know if it was a problem with Brad's server, or if it was a Denial Of Service attack.
I'll have to check out the other threads to see if anyone has given an answer.
If it was a DOS attack I guess it shows we are doing something to stir someone up!
In the mean time I went to Brads personal site and poked around some. Lots of beautifull photo's of his trip to the Northwest rain forest. (The slug photo is a hoot!)

#6 Just went to take a look at the slug photo. Yep, we have been blessed with slugs, every color, and size you can imagine..(grin). Many people have never seen one, they are sticky and so gross when you step on them, especially if you are barefoot. Slime just adheres to your skin. Kinda like D.C. M4

May websites, including Bradblog were down yesterday for most of the day.
And its been said to have been caused by the worm released on February 3, meaning it was a widespread "internet" attack...
If the neocons ever manage to take them all down for a period of a long time, just know we always have chat/email and the internet won't ever be *stopped*..
As to the recent reports, John Gideon, think we will hear any more recent confirmed news from the states soon? Has anyone else adopted vote pad, whats going on in PA, VA and these other states that are about to pass VVPR?

We have Banana Slug Crossing signs at Redwood National Park. They get much bigger than the one Brad feigned to lick.

I heard about the worm. Maybe it was that. Maybe not. Makes you wonder though, doesn't it?
http://www.alternet.org/mediaculture/31781/
From the article by Rory O'Conner...
"...a Freedom of Information Act request....compelled the release of the previously secret "Information Operations road map" he [rumsfeld] signed in 2003...
The document...recommends, for example, that the United States should be able to "disrupt or destroy the full spectrum of globally emerging communications systems, sensors and weapons systems dependent on the electromagnetic spectrum." In plain English, that means the U.S. military seeks the capability to knock out, among other things, every telephone and every networked computer on the planet...' "

Re #10,
I had posted bits from that article on a previous thread & erroneously said I'd found it at Truthout: apologies, Alternet.

Note: The worm isn't some random virus..
It could very well come from the Pentagon. And if they're now creating viruses or doing whatever they're doing, that means we are having the largest effect and they view it as a "enemy weapons system" or some rot...
I think we just need to keep doing what we're doing, nonstop.

#12 Doug, I am inclined to believe your idea....I do wear my tin foil hat proudly, (even though this term is fast becoming obsolete as more and more is revealed). I can see 'them' doing this to keep people off the net. I remember the huge blackout awhile back, east coast) the power grid went down, I think it was blamed on Canada. Most likely an experiment.
The one in '95 that took out some 13 or more states on the left coast also, I think a tree fell on a power line (g). Well, this sort of thing does not just hurt us little guys, but the big ones as well..maybe. I just have to figure that they have come up with a way to target specific communications without harming themselves at the same time. Perhaps the satellites are configured in some way to do this...way over my head...but
there has to be a way to do it and perhaps the blackouts were done to fine tune the method.
Sun spot activity wreaks havoc on ALL kinds of communications, I don't think 'they' have learned the secrets of controlling sunspot activity..but who knows. M4

We were attacked yesterday, by a serious Comment Spam attack (amongst others). That was the cause for the downtime for most of the day.
I believe we've got it under control again finally. For now.

Its a virus that affects the central server of targeted networks....it could be related to the same worm on the 3, and it was definitely by neocons...
Only neocons are so "demented" with their actions but no doubt they will blame it on a bunch of freepers and demos....
Note this: They are also spamming everybodys email nonstop to try to shut down email. One of them was even stalking people such as fitzgerald but thats a story for another day.. Thats a very good sign. It means they're afraid of us putting them away for life. They best be, because we're way past the looking glass....
We have the power to now shut them down FOREVER.....and close up their shop.

Thanks Doug, I just don't know enough about computers and I often wonder if it is just mine acting up. I then read others are having problems and I realize this is bigger than I realize. Of course, so is the picture....getting bigger everyday! M4

Doug, nowhere else to post this but I just deleted Conyers site from my favorites. I was reading the comments and of course 911 and Israel came up. The Admin. came on and stated that 'conspiracy theories' were not to be discussed on that board and all posts saying anything about these two things would be deleted and posters banned. I am done with Conyers, thought the guy was for us, maybe I am missing something and he doesn't know..but I thought it was his site. M4

Doug, yes have been reading this today. Another strange thing on this blog..I had the NASA thread in my favorites, just went in to check the posts, this was about the 'The Fellowship'. All posts are there but the the poster info is deleted and no comment box. Like half the site is gone. Is this one of the 'comment spam attacks'?
