In New York, civic groups are shouting loudly about how the board of elections is ignoring the will of the voters. Elections officials in New Mexico counties have barricaded their doors against the voters and are ignoring the voters wishes as they agree to buy Sequoia Edge DREs. Speaking of Sequoia, Alfie Charles has quietly left the company. I wonder where he will end up next? And in Ohio the state legislature is pushing a bill that will be signed by the Governor and that has many repressive attributes….

AutoMark is the answer- Not the "answer" but a real answer…
AutoMark is fully voter verified and allows very few areas to cheat for candidates, or any election officials.
AutoMark allows routine manual audits to be done and the company who bought it, ES&S has moved for full inspection.
The other answer is to get Diebold & Sequoia out of voting alltogether, especially Diebold for its criminal conduct in elections.
True it won’t ever seal officially the word on fraud but it will reduce it beyond any doubt at the least.

Here is an interesting quote from your link:
Did U.S. intelligence agencies assist in funneling rivers of cash from suspect defense contractors into the campaign coffers of pro-war Republican lawmakers? (link here).
To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.
(Theodore Roosevelt, republican, "Roosevelt in the Kansas City Star", 149 May 7, 1918)
Our entire state of Oregon has mailed ballots .. plenty of time to sit down with the kids and campaign literature, and go over issues and candidates. The cost is less than one-fifth that of staffing polling places, too.
The people are starting to revolt, because it’s becoming common knowledge that their votes are being stolen. Could there be any other outcome? It was only a matter of time, and it’s going to get worse for voting officials and DIEBOLD.
Coltergeist: I’ve agreed with every comment ever, like yours, to just break the machines (with sledgehammers). Because the elected officials aren’t listening to us. What other alternative is there?
More and more, I’m thinking I’m for parallel independent voting systems, with electronic NOT being one of them. Not only would it be hard to corrupt 2 independent systems, but the hackers would have to get them to match as well.
Speaking of votes.
I noticed an article that says Frist is very unpopular with "his" constituency.
The conservative Family Research Council said:
“They [Frist and gang] didn’t have anything that we saw as family votes,” he added. “Sometimes it seems like we got more done during the Reagan administration when [Republicans] didn’t have control [of Congress] or during the Clinton administration when we didn’t have the administration on our side. There is a level of frustration especially among our grassroots.” (link here).
Yep, democrats are said to be more friendly to families than Frist is. Votes for family issues were allowed by the democratic congress and signed into law by Clinton more than in the current government.
Voters should break the machines. Just break them. A month or a week before the elections, they should just find out where the machines are kept and break them all. Then all the ballots would have to be counted by hand. Oh shucks, the networks would have to wait. Make sure to hit the ReThuglican districts first.
I am just musing of course. Not my state, do what you want.
