The Daily Show is Fake News as described by the host himself. Comedy central is no place to rely on news. The fact that you people get your news from comedians is true comedy.

Its beginning to look a lot like Fitzmas. Fitz is making nice with the next grand jury (link here).
And O'really? is sure to criticize Fitzmas as an attack on the holiday.
Go figure.

We all know it's fake news, but sadly our fake news source tells more truths than most 'real' news shows. Are the clips they play lies...no! They show the morons and liars being their immoral criminal selves, nothing fake about that! and they are funny!

This coming from an avid Fox News watcher I assume? Do you read Newsmax too? Isn't there a story on Drudge about how Hillary killed Vince Foster with Saddam's hidden nukes from Syria with the help of Vice Presidential candidate Dick Gephardt's intern mistress you should be reading?

Merry Fitzmas, everyone!
As we all know, Bill O'LIE-ly is the spokesman for Christmas (yeah.......right......).
I think even conservatives are starting to realize what assholes these guys like O'LIE-ly and Rush Lim-BOOB are... Eventually, everyone gets sick of being a sap to propoganda. (see DIEBOLD, WMD's, etc...)
Rush Lim-BOOB is getting Oxycotin stocking-stuffers, I heard...

The first time we have a real voice and it is finally being played, but on the damned Comedy Channel for the love of God! Actually, Fox news belongs there as well because it is really just one big joke on the US. No wonder the rest of the world simulaneously hates/loves us. What is more entertaining than a tragic clown?

satire
1: a literary work holding up human vices and follies to ridicule or scorn
2: trenchant, wit, irony, or sarcasm used to expose and discredit vice or folly
Satire works because it is based in truth.
Thanks, bye.

IF America fail in Iraq, the terrorists and Liberals win. If america wins in Iraq, the terrorists and liberals lose.
Gas prices go up, good for liberals.
Gas prices go down, bad for liberals.
There are plenty of examples just like this one.
Liberals have tied their hopes on America failing. That why you never say anything good. Thats why you ignore libermans comments. Thats why you ignore everything positive in hopes you can fool America into believing things arent going well.
Enjoy your comedy show. You need a good laugh after getting your tails kicked every year.

Against my better judgment I spent a few minutes watching Fox Network tonight. The subject was Iraq.
Fox had assembled a "panel" of the usual suspects.
Their entire discussion was about DEMOCRATS, and about their differences with one another about whether to pull out of Iraq, stay for a few months, stay the course, whatever. The conclusion? Because Democrats on Capitol Hill are not of one mind about what to do, Bush has won the debate. "Stay the course" is the winning strategy, because Murtha, Kerry, Dean, Hillary, and Reid haven't yet solved the problem Bush created.
Does any rational person believe that? Unless polls are meaningless (in which case, Bush really won the election in 2004) the American people don't give a rats ass which party gains or loses here. The American people have said, "This war is wrong, it was based on lies, and it's a dead-end street." Could it be any clearer than that?

'Holiday' Cards Ring Hollow for Some on Bushes' List
By Alan Cooperman
Washington Post Staff Writer
Wednesday, December 7, 2005; A01
What's missing from the White House Christmas card? Christmas.
This month, as in every December since he took office, President Bush sent out cards with a generic end-of-the-year message, wishing 1.4 million of his close friends and supporters a happy "holiday season."
Many people are thrilled to get a White House Christmas card, no matter what the greeting inside. But some conservative Christians are reacting as if Bush stuck coal in their stockings.
"This clearly demonstrates that the Bush administration has suffered a loss of will and that they have capitulated to the worst elements in our culture," said William A. Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights.
Bush "claims to be a born-again, evangelical Christian. But he sure doesn't act like one," said Joseph Farah, editor of the conservative Web site WorldNetDaily.com. "I threw out my White House card as soon as I got it."

I remember last year after the last "election" Jon Stewart was on Larry King. At the end King took phone calls and this little girl in sixth/seventh grade called in and said her class followed the election. She knew more than the other students from watching "The Daily Show." How sad is that?

and this from media matters:
Although Fox News hosts Bill O'Reilly and John Gibson have lambasted what they see as a "secular" "war on Christmas," Fox News' own online store advertises "Holiday" ornaments rather than "Christmas" ornaments, as apparently first noted on the weblog Daily Kos. The items are grouped under the category "Holiday Ideas."
O'Reilly, host of Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor, has recently waged a campaign against corporations that greet customers with "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas." For his part, Gibson, the host of Fox News' The Big Story with John Gibson, has published a book titled The War on Christmas: How the Liberal Plot to Ban the Sacred Christian Holiday Is Worse Than You Thought (Sentinel, October 2005).
Despite O'Reilly's specific criticism of those who use the term "holiday tree" instead of "Christmas tree," an O'Reilly Factor ornament for sale at the Fox News store features this tagline: "Put your holiday tree in 'The No Spin Zone' with this silver glass 'O'Reilly Factor' ornament."
PS. I agree with Joseph Farah (see above post) Bush "claims to be a born-again, evangelical Christian. But he sure doesn't act like one," I am a born again Christian and I have been saying this same thing for five years. Jimmy Carter was the only true evangelical born-again Christian who has ever been president.

Medium Right:
Now let me see if I understand.
What you're saying to the 30 percent (or more) of the members of the all-volunteer U.S. military who are liberal that if they win in Iraq, they actually lose, but if they lose in Iraq then they actually win.
And you are also stating that the 30 percent (or more) soldiers who are laying their lives on the line in Iraq, and who also are liberal, that they are actually aiding and abetting the right-wing religious terrorists by serving and fighting in Iraq.
And you are also calling the liberal U.S. soldiers un-patriotic and un-American, even as they serve honorably in our military and fight George W. Bush's war.
But maybe I've misunderstood.
That's why, Medium Right, you should immediately go over to Iraq and walk a patrol down a Baghdad street with one of our units, which is bound to contain liberals, conservatives and independents, and explain to them what you mean so that they, and I, can better understand what you're saying.
No???
Well, you must change your name then from "Medium Right" to "Far Right Chickenhawk."

Daily Show riffs on O'Reilly always funny! A really weirdly funny News story: the "BarneyCam" '05 Video, now being pimped by the TV News Networks!
How's the new White House "BarneyCam"? Not So Fun this Christmas. Shades of Nixonian surreal weirdness fill up the grim, forced cheeriness of the "BarneyCam" video; esp. where Pres. Bush is sitting behind his Oval Office desk, kinda shrunken & old-looking, like Nixon right before he resigned.
Dubya won't be resigning, tho, & we're stuck with this American Idiot "fortunate son" for 3 more long years, as is the News Media. So, Bush needs a new p.r. strategy, & I've got it: Barney Goes to Baghdad!
We draft Barney & Beasley into the U.S. Army War Dog corp.!! Pres. Bush will be able to boast that at least 2 Bushies are serving over in Iraq! Barney's not exactly a macho "Rin Tin Tin", but hey, they're
desperate for volunteers in Iraq!
Osama Bin Laden has taught his children how to survive w/o any "necessities" of "civilization", like electricity, running water. how to live in caves, to fight guerilla-style, & use tools like internet & cell phones against us. Al Qaeda is learning. adapting, refining their terrorist techniques, & spreading their Jihad message to win new hearts & minds.
What is Pres. Bush busy doing? Making speeches, putting out Barneycam videos, decorating the White House, for crissake! He's taught his kids how to dress up & get drunk partying in celeb. niteclubs with the rich.
So: let's draft the damn Bush dogs, spray-paint them w/ a camoflage pattern, strap armored doggie vests on them, & drop their asses by parachute into Baghdad. They can do a new BarneyCam War Video. Bombs over Baghdad! (Doggie Bombs, that is)
Set to the music of the song "Bombs Over Baghdad, video would be a hit w/ our American Soldiers stuck "Over There" like sitting ducks for i.e.d.'s, buried land mines & mortar attacks!
I know on CBS News Wed. nite, they showed some Videos set to music, which Soldiers are e-mailing home. It's feeling more & more like Vietnam, just with e-mails & music videos.
One clueless newscaster said on TV the other day, that news reporters are being careful, becuz of I.E.D's, to "walk right behind the soldier in front of them". Gee, that's real smart!
They should talk to my neighbor. who got his guts & one of his legs blown to hell with shrapnel, beciz a soldier walking in front of him stepped on a mine.
The neighbor, by the way, was wounded not in Iraq, but in VIETNAM. He has lived with damage
from that war since the late 60's.
Come to think of it, lets also strap armored vests on Jenna, Barbara, & Laura and V.P. Dick Cheney's lesbian daughter, & drop their asses by parachute over Iraq too!

This twisted ideology that Bill O is an example of is really getting annoying. Their main reason for living is to espouse bullshit on a daily basis that further divides the country. It's either their way or no way.
Please retire Bill. Thanks and have a Happy Holiday.

Until liberals are actually asking for a raise in gas prices, Medium Right is nothing more than an extreme liar. - Besides that, the only people who want gas prices increased are those closest to the oil industry... which would be... the right-wing.
*** Logic dictates (based on political affiliations) that if anyone should be happy (or feel they have "won" anything) by increased gas prices, it would be those to the right-of-center... exactly the opposite of what you are suggesting, MediumWrong ***
If gas prices increase... the right-wing, who are closest to the oil-industry.. are the one's who will be rejoicing.
The liberals are NOT the ones doing everything they can to maximize the profits of the oil companies, that 'accolade' sits firmly on your side of the left/right divide.
No matter who "wins" in Iraq... (and increasingly.. it looks like it's a stalemate) if this administration is in power... oil-money will disappear from Iraq... gas prices won't go down in America... the elite and the military industrial complex will get richer... Iraqi AND American people will pay more and receive less.
If we "win" in Iraq. Only the richest and closest to the military industry complex will actually reap any rewards. You can already see that by the millions that just "disappear". (they've already won... lining their pockets with the missing monies.. while we gain no benefit from what is essentially an illegal war.)
In fact, as a result of the lies that have led us to war... the only thing we have been given in return for our sacrifices.. is the PATRIOT act.
