Interestingly, the day we originally broadcast this show, a woman named Cindy Sheehan had showed up in Crawford, Texas, outside Bush’s vacation home to request a meeting with him. We spoke that night with Leon Smith, editor of the Lonestar Iconocast in Crawford, about what became quite a national event!
This program is also particularly timely as the Baker/Carter Commission on Election Reform, the one that was created in part with the help of the cretins/GOP-operatives who call themselves the “non-partisan” American Center for Voting Rights (ACVR), is to release their findings on Monday. Our early word is that they will making their recommendations to ensure disenfranchisement of millions of American through the requirement of Photo ID at the polls (which millions of Elderly, Urban Dwellers and Minorities simply don’t own). So this show is a good reminder of what was won 40 years ago in the name of government of the people, by the people and for the people…and what may well be lost at the hands of America and Democracy Hating folks like James A. Baker who continues to do George W. Bush’s bidding…or vice versa.
Perhaps Americans and Democrats will soon wake up before it’s too late. Though we’re not particular optimistic about that today. Either way…Enjoy the show! It was a great one!

The neoCon trolls who have been stinking up the place, particularly Jimmo, said there were no hurricanes in the North Atlantic.
This was in response to my suggestion that hurricanes were getting stronger but the Netherlands have had land below sea level for 2000 years and now have multiple millions of people living there. They have good engineers who care about people and social injustice and we don’t … its a Rummy thang.
A scientific study just released indicates that not only does the N. Atlantic have hurricanes, they are having more and they also are getting meaner (link here).
I think the pattern in all of this is that progressives spend more time looking out the windshield to see what is coming and the neoCons spend more time looking in the rear view mirror to see what is coming.
These neoCons have more sanctuary in the republican party right now, ala dumbo and dumboer, but they are going to be kicked out.
The progressives won’t have them, the dems won’t have them, and the greens won’t have them, so I would say we could see a new NAZI party in america.
But perhaps not, because the neoCons are becoming so obvious that it is hard for them to find a host … er … symbiant.
So lets keep exposing them, whether they use elephants, donkeys, or shitbirds as their symbiants.

I like the idea of Dutch engineers having a say on the New Orleans levees! After all the Netherlands are full of them! New Orleans should ask the Netherlands for their ideas and suggestions on the levees!

Mohammed Atta was being watched under an operation called "Able Danger". The info is still available but the media is not reporting it. I did see a peice on CBS and thought the lid was about to blow then it suddenly went away.
Google or yahoo "Able Danger", you will find a lot of info.
Hearings are scheduled in the Senate Judiciary with both republicans and democrats, so it looks like it just blew wide open.
Curt Weldon, the suspicious GOP-man who initiated the findings is opening a pandora’s box. A neocon cell headed by Stephen J. Hadley and Douglas Feith has been found to have deleted records, covered up names, and whitewashed the reports which allowed the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

I love the idea of asking Holland for help. Mayor Naigin should ask the mayor of Amsterdam to jointly proclaim New Orleans and Amsterdam sister cities, and I’m sure the fine people of that glorious European port city would be only happy to send over some extremely hip people and funding to help preserve, restore, and, yes, enhance the grand old lady of New Orleans. But I’m afraid the sacreligious wrong would prevent the cooperation, as some of those pesky Dutch qualities such as tolerance and true compassion and fact-based science, social and otherwise, would seem at first glance anathema to everything this administration demonstrably stands for.
It is very sad to hear Rove call Anti War Movement, clowns, when "Anti War Movement" wants to save lives. I interpret his clown comment to mean he doesn’t care about saving lives.
