Funny considering it was the republicans who were busy fighting Clinton over anti-terrorism. Wasn't it the republicans that watered down the anti-terrorism bill? Do you guys not have anything better to do than blame Clinton when your guy fucks up?
Lets use a kids movie for an example.
Imagine youre willy wonka and your company is publicly traded. You try to put up walls to stop theft of the company's products and ideas but your shareholders and the board decide its not in their "best interest" so they overrule you. You decide to retire and then Charlie takes over the company. Upon his entry into office he removes all the programs you had put in place to stop theft. He then decides to go on vacation and while he is on vacation someone breaks in destroys part of your factory steals your products. Now is it Wonka's fault or Charlie's that this happened?
In Clintons case he was determined to go after Al-Qaida he tried to do something about terrorism but the Republicans in congress thought it was a fake issue. Enter George Bush Jr. upon entry in office he calls off the drones looking for Bin Laden, sacks the Hart-Rudman Report, and then decides to go on vacation for a whole month. During this time he is undisturbed by the CIA Director even though they have had multiple warnings about Al-Qaida's determination to strike. We all know the rest of the story while Georgie was in Florida they struck.
He then capitalized on 9/11 as his greatest triumph.
Abe Lincoln was a great president, but the high point of his second term wasn’t theatre security. Franklin Roosevelt didn’t run for reelection claiming Pearl Harbor was his finest hour.
Bush then decided to enact some of the programs the Republicans wouldn't let Clinton pass. If anyone is to blame for 9/11 it would be the republicans in congress who decided it was more important for Banks to be happy than to enact legislation to track and freeze terrorism assets, that it was more important for the airlines to be happy than to increase airport security.

A few facts re: Bill Clinton:
1. If I recall correctly, Clinton called for multiple air strikes in Afghanistan, for the purpose of killing Bin-Laden. Didn't the Republicans claim that he did this solely to distract the American public from his sexual misbehavior.
2. Clinton clearly missed the boat on a number of "opportunities", particularly near the end of his term. He did, unfortunately have to deal with the republican led congress who decided to take up just a wee bit of his time with an impeachment process because of a Blow Job.
3. Does Clinton's failure in any way excuse Bush's failure?
4. Why did Bush ignore so much valuable information?
5. Does Bush's hands-off style, surrounding himself with yes-men, prefering "NOT" to hear bad news, have something to do with over 3000 deaths in NY alone.
6. Clinton had nothing to do with Osama's escape from Tora-Bora...does it?
7. No one was getting blown up in Iraq until Bush put us there.
GOOD JOB NEO!
And both Ricky and Paul, All president's and administrations make mistakes...uh...well, maybe not this one...right?

Al Franken explained the funding issue yesterday on his show. There was a crook who promised funding in the beginning. He did not have the money but borrowed some improperly from the fund you mentioned. The crook was sent packing. Paul you have to be a total idiot to be posting links from world net daily which is the equivalent of the NY Post on toilet paper. Not only does WND not confirm their stories before print but also change them after print without providing information that the article was changed. Take for instance their story on the old lady in Georgia whom they claimed the granddaughter was starving her and was going to pull her feeding tube. What they forgot to mention was not only was the grandmother being fed with ice cubes and jello but also that she never had a feeding tube ever! I wrote a letter to the editor and instead of retracting it they changed the story on the site and tried to claim she posted it by mistake.
Also quoting Ann Coulter just makes you out to be even more foolish. Half the time I don't think even Ann Coulter believes anything she writes. She is a hack who found an audience because she was a lawyer during the Ken Starr Investigation. It's hard to believe a thing she says after she argued with a Canadian reporter about how she believed Canada sent troops to Vietnam which she was patently wrong on and when it was pointed out to her she still stuck to what she was saying. She later said she would get back to the reporter. She never did. Now how can you believe someone like Ann Coulter that even when she is wrong on basic facts she can't even admit it and correct her mistake. She's not a journalist.

Your second article Paul shows how biased it is by using the words alleged for every republican scandal while trying to convict the democrats of the same thing. Politicians are inherently shady so if the governor is guilty of the alleged activities then he should be punished just like Bush should be punished if the allegations be found true. You seem to be deflecting off the money that keeps disappearing in Iraq and the poor accounting problems.

Government: release of Abu Ghraib prison photos could cause riots
By LARRY NEUMEISTER
Associated Press Writer
August 12, 2005, 3:06 PM EDT
NEW YORK --- Releasing pictures and videotapes of detainee abuse at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison would aid al-Qaida recruitment, weaken Afghanistan and Iraqi governments and incite riots against U.S. troops, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff says.
The warning by Gen. Richard B. Myers was contained in court papers filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan and recently unsealed.
The government submitted additional papers to the court Friday arguing that some information in its arguments that remains redacted should not be made public.
Myers said the release of the pictures "pose a clear and grave risk of inciting violence and riots against American troops and coalition forces."

When I went to your link it opened in quicktime, but was incomplete. I accessed it with winamp and it played the whole thing.
"Commercial plane" is not much of a description. It could be a twin engine beechcraft or a 747.
The only thing it might rule out is a missle.
Some of the theorists do think it was a smaller plane, and most planes could be painted to appear as a legitimate commercial airline.

Just at that point, my radio came clear as day, 'Imminent collapse. This was a terrorist attack. Evacuate.'
We relayed that again, hoping that the brothers would hear it above us, and I remember the look on Andy's face, like apprehension that we were going to leave this building," he continued. The north tower collapsed moments later. (link here)

Then there's this:
How did Giuliani know?
Before either of the twin towers collapsed, Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and his associates were told to leave the headquarters they had set up within Building 7.
"We were operating out of there when we were told that the World Trade Center was gonna collapse," Rudolph Giuliani told Peter Jennings of ABC News that morning, "and it did collapse before we could get out of the building."
Despite this, Giuliani fled WTC 7 at least eight hours before it collapsed. How did he know that the twin towers were going to collapse if it was such an unprecedented occurance? Why didn't the firefighters on the ground get the same warning?

Kira,
Interesting links. The public is never going to buy the official story once they think about the facts.
Like the Kennedy assasination. The majority of the public did not buy the official story. That led to pressure and a congressional investigation that concluded there had to be more than one shooter.
Eventually the pressure (link here) will probably cause the 911 story to be revisited ... officially.
