Bush’s hatred of the American people, disrespect for its public servants and his disinterest in our National Security continues. From NY Times:
The White House has failed to turn over any of the information requested by the 10 members of the disbanded Sept. 11 commission in their renewed, unofficial investigation into whether the government is doing enough to prevent terrorist attacks on American soil, commission members said.
…
Thomas H. Kean, the former Republican governor of New Jersey who led the bipartisan Sept. 11 commission, said he was surprised and disappointed that the White House, the Pentagon, the State Department, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and several other executive branch agencies had failed to respond to requests made two months ago for updated information on the government’s antiterrorism programs.
…
“It’s very disappointing,” Mr. Kean said of the administration’s failure to cooperate with the group. “All we’re trying to do is make the public safer.”
…
The letters requested interviews and updated information on the agencies’ efforts to deal with terrorism, asking that all of the information be provided by Aug. 15. But Mr. Kean said Mr. Card and the others had failed to respond to the letters or even to acknowledge their receipt.

** Regarding documents: This may get interesting **
Official documented evidence on 9/11, indictment allegations
May be why the White House refuses to disclose……Something is up..

This is the best article I’ve ever seen written on the state of the union, right now. I’m fortunate a friend of mine directed me to it. I highly recommend everyone read this essay…
This is the "real" State of the Union address!

Mr. Kean was "surprised and disappointed"???? He shouldn’t have been surprised that he was going to be disappointed. Where has he been living for the last 5 years?

Hey – I’m glad Republican Keane has made the comment openly that he’s unhappy with the bu$h administration’s lack of cooperation. The more Republicans who go on the record about this, the better.
But, gee, the bu$h administration doesn’t answer any complaints! Not a word to John Conyers on any of the many letters he’s written about very important issues the administration should be addressing. Not a peep in response to the over half a million signatures demanding answers about the Downing Street Minutes Memo.
I guess it’s just too much HARD WORK to answer those questions. Time for another month long vacation while our troops are dying for his lie.
When someone with the reputation and experience of a Thomas Kean acts surprised that Bush won’t cooperate, then one has to wonder just how stupid the entire Republican party is.
Maybe Georgie Boy "Caesar" Bush is right, that America needs an iron fisted leader. Maybe he is the man for the job. Maybe pigs will fly up and eat the moon’s green cheese on Thursday. Not likely.
The success of our great experiment in Modern Democracy has always depended upon the good will and patriotism of it’s citizens who would vote, report on and run for office. The Republicans have been saying for some time there’s a Culture War afoot and they’re gonna save America from falling apart. But, now that they’re in charge it seems clear they (those in power, not the rank and file) aim to make a lot of money from their positions of power.
Bush says being president is ‘power’. He doesn’t say it’s ‘responsibility’. He doesn’t say a president is ‘accountable’ to anyone. That says a lot.
Good Morning America! It’s boiling hot and our government says war is Hell. Why are we in this handbasket and where are we going?
This link is so huge…it says that President Bush, members of his cabinet, politicians on both sides of the aisle, Judith Miller, several media moguls, were indicted by a Chicago Grand Jury.
It’s so off the f***ing charts, you gotta read it!

If this is true, it should be a matter of record to easily look up (a federal indictment). This is so massive, it’s off the charts!
Furthermore, if it’s true, and it’s definitely not in the msm, why isn’t it?

All of you should know by now how the Bush administration works…everything is under lock and key.
In order to obtain the "goods" you have to become one of them; as in a secretary, janitor, window washer, volunteer.
