I commend those demonstrating. I am so saddened and angered by what our government has come to. People have grown used to it and don't anymore remember better days. What a bunch of ignorant thugs we have in power and they are clever....and vulgar....and destructive to higher aims. May we all come together, those who are disgusted with Bush. I suggest there be a group that is titled......"Beyond Bush" There should be a movement titled this. And it should mean beyond him in wisdom, class, fairness, courage, insight, and goodness. S. Smith

All true, but they've grown cocky and arrogant. A public demonstration is a really good sign.

I hope and expect Rove will be dogged by protestors until he is gone. It's the least anyone can do.

I think, too, that it is going to take massive demonstrations in the streets and on the House and Senate floors to goad lawmakers into a Resolution of Inquiry.

Karl Rove should be tried for treason and then jailed. When will the AMERICAN PEOPLE rise up against this immoral Bush Administration?

I wish I was there to protest Karl Rove and the gang that supports him. What a shame that his fellow republicans turn a deaf ear to his wrongdoing.I am patiently waiting to see him jailed for what he did. He is a monster!

Thanks to the protesters in hot DC tonight. We all appreciate you being out there.
Psst--I know who outed Valerie Plame. I won't "name names," so this is not a leak. It was Mrs. Karl Rove's husband.

In any protest, those taking part must be ready to be arrested. The threat of being arrested for "jaywalking" should bring all those present to the streets, ready to be arrested. And then more. Overwhelm the system.
Being arrested for simply being there IS an important tool in public protest, as are making LOTS of noise and CHANTING SLOGANS.
The recent "people uprisings" in Georgia and Ukraine were well planned and orchestrated events led by people from former eastern European countries with financial and technical support from the US and other western countries. A three part, 6-hour documentary on these uprisings and the people and plannning behind them (and the network that still exists among those people) recently aired on CBC television in Canada.
Perhaps it is time for Americans to ask for their professional advice and recommendations in order to take by this country.

There is nothing quite like the sweet dissenting sound of torches and pitchforks.

Discussing doesn't seem to be working so it's time to pound the pavement. How many letters has the hard working Mr Conyers written to the WH and has never received a response. My feeling is that the WH gang is laughing at all this, they feel that no one can do anything to them and they just don't give a shit. They all have the typical characteristics of abusers. Never wrong and blame others.

It's strange that something like this makes me "proud to be an American" but it does.
It's the only thing that will let the Republicans know that some people are not falling for their pre-crafted BS. And I'm afraid this big noisy fuss is what we are reduced to when the MSM fails to cover important issues.
Let Karl Rove call us names. It means we are getting to him...

"Are they afraid he's going to raise too much money?" asked GOP strategist Carol Hirschburg told the Washington Post.
Apparently Rove showing up helped Lt Gov Steele raise LOTS of money. The objective part of my brain thinks this is perfectly parallel to how, when Clinton was being pursued by Ken Starr, his embattled state turned him into a fundraising machine. The difference being that when Clinton lied, terrorists did not learn the identity of our secret agents.
But the more rational rabid partisan part of my brain thinks it's disgusting that accusations of treason is what it takes to get Republicans to REALLY open up their checkbooks.

:) First, the good news: go to http://www.karlschwarz2008.com. Feast your eyes upon the Platform!
 Yes, we probably need to take to the streets. It worked in the '60s. (Didn't you know that was what FINALLY ended the Vietnam War? After some eight or so years?).
Karl Schwarz, Suzanne S. in link #1, is running for President in 2008. But it's two and one-half years till then - a long time. You could call this movement "Beyond Bush" because it certainly is. I speak of the movement behind Schwarz. A new political party has been formed. It is called the American Patriot Party. No neocons allowed, by the way. Many Republicans have already joined and therefore are no longer Republicans but are American Patriots.
KARL SCHWARZ FOR PRESIDENT!
LET'S TAKE TO THE STREETS, PEOPLE!

In some ways, Rove's treason is worse than most imagine. I have written an article on it at http://portland.indymedi.../en/2005/07/322182.shtml
The torture/kidnapping of Abu Omar by the CIA is going to be a big story as the Europeans chase and prosecute American citizens who pulled this off.
Rove has his dirty, pudgy fingers in this too, of course.
On Rove's grand jury, Patrick Fitzgerald (US Attorney for Chicago) isn't called Bulldog Fitzgerald for nothing. He will get an indictment.
Also, there still are many sincere, patriotic people within the FBI. We may not see eye to eye with them, but they are still willing to do their jobs.
Rove and Bush are not going to be able to keep the lid on much longer.
