In all my “free time,” I’ve been working for quite a while on programming a number of updates and reformatting to the site. I’m rolling some of that out today, and welcome your feedback.
Some of the updates are meant to freshen up the format a bit, allow for more future additions and expansion, and, hopefully, to improve the speed issues a bit.
You may need to hit shift-refresh once to get all the updated graphics and such, but thereafter I hope you enjoy the new changes, along with more to come as mentioned. If you have any problems on any pages, or any other concerns, complaints, other thoughts (even positive ones) or requests for the future here, I hope you’ll feel free to share them in comments.
Thanks for your patience as I smooth out any bumps and, as always, for your continuing support, without which we’d have never even made it this far.

Looking sharp, man. I’m really digging the new layout.
Thanks, brother. Means much coming from you, amigo!
It’s manly, but I like it too.
So far so good. I have loved the content of your blog. I unfortunately loathed having to open the home page. I would have to close down every other application on my computer and all other web pages. It still took forever to load yet even then I could count on the browser and many times my computer locking up every time I visited necessitating a reboot. It looks like it is loading smoother in stages. I certainly hope you reduce the videos on the main page as they really muck up my system.
Yes it is much better, loads faster and no hang ups so far.
I am on a fairly fast line usually around 9980/700Kbps so webpages usually come up an open in like 1-2 seconds.
Here usually I would bring up a browser window for Bradblog and then go check out Raw Story front page for awhile and then come back.
Now you come up in about 2-3 seconds in 2-3 minutes.
Now if you would just make it so we could “Edit” our post we would be all set.
“Edit: Now you come up in about 2-3 seconds *instead of* 2-3 minutes”
Hey Brad,
Truly a great Site. For several years, one of the best at getting to the core issues in the eviseration of the Constitution by deranged “partisans (read GOP).”
However, I am having difficultie with the Viewer Flashplayer (I do have the latest ver.). Please,
offer another viewer due to the lattest version of Flashplayer becoming invasive and more like an unauthorized RTA (Remote Terminal Access lookin and seizing your mic, camera, HDD, and Registry). ChoicePoint may not be the only way those big Three Letter Agencies use to get info on the citizenry. And, yes, any cell phone (now) can be turned on to easedrop on anyone, anywhere and anytime. Thanks.
Buckley –
I don’t have any control over which Flashplayer is used by any of the apps that we use (like YouTube, etc.)
I too have had probs with the latest Adobe Flash, so I downloaded an older version and then — if ever prompted to go to the newer one — I say no.
So, that’s something that I can’t really control on this end. At least as far as I know.
Nunyabiz –
My blog software would allow me to let folks create accounts and edit their own comments. But if I did that, I’d have to require folks to register before commenting, and I’d prefer to keep a fully open comment system as long as I can.
Hey Brad,
I have never seen a comment of mine up in “lights” before. LOL. I, too, prefer openness and transparency to make things happen (for evryone – not just the anointed few). Thanks,
Buckley
(RE: ChoicePoint’s 2007 Fiscal statement is…stunning. Who says spying isn’t incredibly profitable?)
Well then speak up more often Buckley! Free speech! Use it or lose it! 🙂
