When Bush is at 33% and Repub controlled congress/Cheney are way lower than that, and they keep control...that should be enough to tell everyone for certain, but alas, the MSM will spin it off again

Lou Dobbs is the only program I really watch on CNN. Occasionally I have it on for "background noise" while I'm doing other things so that I can at least know what is being talked about. (And even Dobbs at times can't help but let his "old" republican sneers creep in at how the dems are "weak".)
Thank god for Media Matters --- they actually count and cite the biased reporting. So often I feel like throwing things at the tv because of how skewed the coverage is. Wolf Blitzer tries to act like he is unbiased and then it becomes apparent that he is just a more subtle version of O'Reilly.
The article mentioned Dana Bash:
Bash made no mention of The Hill's report, or of Ross's comment. She didn't even include a response from the Democrats she was helping Hastert to smear. Bash, by the way, is CNN's "congressional correspondent."
A diary on Dkos questions if Bash is being held down by the CNN bias:
When Wolfe Blitzer questioned Dana on live TV about what was happing and what was discussed during the GOP conference call held to stem off the Foley scandal she was to the point in stating that the Republicans she talked to had referenced a fear that much more than the Foley situation had surfaced in fact more sexual activity had been uncovered and discussed and it was not Foley but it was a different GOP member.
...At that very moment Wolfe interupted with BREAKING STORY and reported the GOP staffer Fordham, had said he told Hassert's office about Foley more than two years ago...Then they came back to Dana and the partial smile that was on her face was gone as if someone had slapped the piss out of her for letting the cat out of the bag. Everything discussed on air after that was how the Dem's were holding back what they knew and the possiblilty that it was the left's October surprise.

I think Olbermann's Countdown ratings are going to skyrocket --- it's the only real place to get the "truth to power" angle. And with a little sprinkle of Stewart and Colbert each night, I feel the country can actually get a look at what's really going on (sad that a comedy show is more reliable than CNN).

Although I don't agree with everything Lou Dobbs said, he was the ONLY thing I ever watched on CNN...before I stopped watching the corporate mainstream media news.
I now only watch TV news on LINK-TV DISH 9410, and Free Speech TV DISH 9415. Their news is Amy Goodman's "Democracy NOW!" news on both LINK-TV and FSTV. FSTV also has the INN Report and Liberty news. DirecTV does not have FSTV, they only have LINK-TV on 375.
So...DirecTV is better than cable, because they have LINK-TV...but DISH is better than DirecTV because they have BOTH LINK-TV & FSTV.
VIEWER-SUPPORTED NEWS!!! NOT CORPORATE-CONTROLLED NEWS!!!! NO CORPORATE AGENDA!!!!!!!!! NO SUPPRESSED OR BIASED NEWS!!! NO "MINI-ME" FOX NEWS!!!!!!!

It's interesting to note that PBS NewsHour is also under scrutiny for biased reporting. A study by FAIR concludes "Public TV's flagship news program offers standard corporate fare." (LINK)

The Grand Old Pervert Party ( a new cartoon)
When I saw the Fox news picture of Foley, with a (D)below his face, and then the Right Wing Blogs that were brought to my attention by www.democraticwarrior.com , my blood started to boil. Damn these Lies and lying liars. I've had enough of this disinformation. That's why I tackled these Family Values hypocrites in my latest toon. Including the lies from Fox news that Foley was a Democrat! (arggg)! It's my hope that these brainwashed Family Value Voters will wake up and see the light, and either vote these monsters out of office or stay home hiding in shame over the fact that they decided to vote for someone over a few crummy slogans.

Hey! That's great news, ain't it! I like it particularly well because it signifies to me that Rove is being thrown under the bus by forces not even he survives fighting... that maybe the neocons have gone entirely too far... that people in the real power structure are finally reining in the maniacs. It ain't over no sex scandal either. Seriously, who has kept that stuff out of the news this long? And, so, who just decided to use it on the evil little fucks? The not AS evil big fucks, that's who. They better be attending to the ships (and subs) in the Persian Gulf right now, too, or there is every likelihood a false flag will be waving over many Americans' watery graves very soon.

#10: Quite clever!
Saw a Conan clip on This Week on ABC this morning:
O'Brien: Earlier this week — true story — Bill O'Reilly did a piece about Mark Foley. This was the graphic. [graphic reads "Mark Foley (D-FL)"] Check it out. It said, "Foley, Democrat, Florida." The problem is, Mark Foley is not a Democrat. He's a Republican. … I assume it was a mistake. But I looked into it, and apparently this kind of mislabeling has happened on Fox News before. Take a look.
[video of Nixon resignation address with the graphic, "Richard Nixon (D), Wash D.C."]
President Nixon: I shall resign the presidency, effective at noon tomorrow.
[video of North Korean leader Kim Jong Il with the graphic "Kim Jong Il (D), North Korea"]
Voiceover: The regime of Kim Jong Il is a much more immediate danger.
[video of Michael Jackson with the graphic "Michael Jackson (D), California"]
Michael Jackson: I have been forced to submit to a dehumanizing and humiliating examination.

How did Mike do? Did they turn off his mike again, or did they act like a man this time?
I MISS MIKE MALLOY! How could they repeal 900 years of civil law with him gone.
