A report by a grand jury in Boyd Co. Kentucky, which met for the last time Thursday, lists nine items for the next group to review, including that the vote count from the primary exceeded the reported number of total voters, the reason behind barring the media and candidates from vote counting and whether certain elected officials became involved in the decision to keep candidates and the media out of the clerk’s office. The finger for this problem seems to be pointing at the county sheriff and Harp Enterprises who is a purveyor of Hart Intercivic….

THX for the info/news John,..
Why do they fear transparency,.. something to hide ?
Maybe court action,.. discovery,.. testimony,… will
answer why voting/elections were allowed to become so top secret.
Republicans.
Corruption.
Synonymous.
If this keeps up even Superman may not like to push the idea that he is “fighting for the American way”.
And the corporate America that peddles him will agree because they know that things American are growing more and more unpopular … political Americana that is …
How smart is it to have billions of people on the planet thinking there is something criminally wrong with America?
Stay the wrong course is something that even banana republics understand to be misguided.
How many states now have reported problems, “glitches”, with voting?
Ohio..Florida..California..New Mexico..New Hampshire..Pennsylvania..Kentucky..Arizona..that’s all I can remember.
Is there a list? I’m sorry, John…I have trouble keeping up.
In response to old “Charlie L”, one might say:
Democrats
Corruption
Synonymous
Sad to see that the Brad Blog of Paranoia continues to attract those who understand how to “sloganeer” and fails to report news from those who actually have SOME relevant knowledge.
As for “Joan”….. Every state has problems during almost every election, Joan. Precinct workers (mostly volunteers) make mistakes, voter registration lists are not perfect, and we (yes, all of us) don’t really pay much in taxes in order to support those elections. Do those “problems” result in unfair elections or any significant changes to the results? Thus far, there is NO evidence of that…..NONE AT ALL.
Doug Allen,
“…fails to report news from those who actually have SOME relevant knowledge.” So Doug as I do the news what news articles would you like me to report in “Daily Voting News”? I must have missed the articles by or about ‘those who actually have SOME relevant knowledge”. I try hard to report all of the news I can find that is not partisan on any side.
“Precinct workers (mostly volunteers) make mistakes, voter registration lists are not perfect, and we (yes, all of us) don’t really pay much in taxes in order to support those elections. Do those “problems” result in unfair elections or any significant changes to the results? Thus far, there is NO evidence of that”¦..NONE AT ALL.” Strange but Diebold, ES&S and the rest of the vendors like to blame the precinct workers for ALL of the problems. Meanwhile you apparently missed earlier articles regarding 9 races where the results were changed in Pottawattamie Co., IOWA after it was discovered that ES&S had hosed the ballot programming. So, I guess you have to admit there is evidence of that, hmmmm? How about ES&S apologizing for problems in Indiana and Texas? How about Diebold admitting to botched results in one Mississippi county? Lot’s of evidence it seems…..
