It seems that the reports from California are less than accurate. They say that the test machine will be chosen from among machines used in 17 counties. That has never been agreed to by the state or Diebold. In fact, Hari Hursti has never been invited to fly over from Finland and no details have been set-up with BBV, according to Bev Harris. For some reason either the state or Diebold, or both, are misrepresenting the facts. A call to the California Elections Division found that everyone seems to be taking the day off….

IS THIS CORRECT …only 6 votes needed to be "FLIPPED" "in each Ohio precinct" ?
And finally…does he realize how difficult it is to uncover systematic fraud and other anomolies through such selective audits of any records that anybody is actually ever to receive access to given that just 6 votes—6 votes! — flipped from Kerry to Bush in each Ohio precinct last November would have been enough to give Bush the votes he was officially “certified” as receiving and thus “winning” the state of Ohio?

Yeah, it’s pretty shocking, isn’t it (that only 6 votes flipping from Kerry to Bush would have been enough to swing the whole election)?! This is one of the reasons I am loathe to rely on less-than-100% hand recounts.
And you can be sure that any county official who found their numbers were "only" 6 votes off would say that was no big deal, since it wouldn’t be enough to change the election results.
