I like the ad. Good news re. Winters Express. I pray that more folks at Diebold and other electronic voting companies come forward. Every day we see more consequences from the unaccountability that comes from having a one party government that comes from having eections that are not for real.

Great ad, great work by you guys. It is really impressive that every issue that you have taken on has taken off, election reform, out of Iraq, Dowing Street, media reform. I like the fact that you are saying impeachment, because in six months or a year, with your track record, this guy will be gone. It is my hope that VR takes off in a real revolution and the '06 elections throw the bastards out for a revival of the age of enlightenment and competence.

That is a really brilliant ad, the best I have ever seen of its kind. The most important point is clearly implied that the American people CAN evict its leadership even without a formal poll or election telling its leadership what they already know.

This is good. Comparing Bush to the corruption and incompetence that existed in the 60's puts a fine point on their glaring differences. They knew when the game was up. They had the intellect to realize that the people could be fooled no longer. They choose the only option left open to them........walk away.
They left a legacy of dissappointment.
America was poised to continue its leadership role in the world, and then along came came LBJ who followed bad advice and then ducked and ran when it became apparent.
Nixon thought he could manipulate his underlings to perform tricks for the ringmaster at no cost to his political carreer. Oops, " I'am no crook."
The single charcteristic that distingushes Bush is his lack of integrity. Nixon resigned in the face of impeachment. Bush will not.
LBJ refused to run again when he saw the hole he dug in S.E. Asia.
Bush dumped the lives of young men and women in the hole he dug in the middle east.
The left-handed honor that existed with the presidents of the Viet Nam era does not reside in the heart of the president over-seeing the current macarbe act playing itself out in the cradle of civilization.
So it is up to the people of America to step up to the plate once again.
We have been abandoned and insulted.
What are you going to do about it?

Bush won't do the honorable thing and resign. I don't think he can be shamed into it @ he is a psychopath who could never believe he has done anything wrong.
Impeachment is out for obvious reasons, but I don't think he'll resign either so what other alternatives are there?
Maybe Rove or some Congressmen will finally break the news to him that he has to resign to save his party. I wouldn't look for it any time soon though.
It is just so unimaginable that any president could get by with all the wrong he has done and get by with it. I thought when it became clear he lied us into war that that would do it, but nope. Is there anything at all will do this little child in?

It does not sit well with me that an unelected white house resident can appoint supreme court justices. If bush is removed for cheating in elections, do his appointments still stand? They will cripple the US for such a long time.
Can they be impeached along with the other neoconmen?

I know as a military mother, who's son is about to be held captive for an extra year (stop loss) and sent back to Iraq for another full year, I'm praying the momentum I'm seeing lately holds and we can actually do something about all of this. Maybe he won't have to spend the whole year there.
I agree I don't think Bush would ever resign. He's shielded by the entire bought-and-paid-for administration. I love that poster!!! I'm going to print some and put them up around town in the grocery store bulletin boards and such. Do we really stand a chance?
I chuckle, yet cry, when I'm driving and come to most the stop signs in my city....someone months ago spray painted BUSH on most of them, so they read "STOP BUSH".

Thanks for the link, Nana. I guess it proves that conservatives cannot be against impeachment of judges per se. But that link is about attempts to impeach judges for their incompetence, error, etc. How about getting rid of the bush appointees based solely on the fact of bush's illegitimacy to appoint any judges at all? Is that going to be possible, or are we saddled with them even if bush/cheney go to jail?

River, i understand your queion, but have not been able to do any reading this hectic weekend. My sons bought me my very own, first computer, and i don't know how to use it yet.
Per the article, it looks like impeachment can be threatened for just any silly complaint, but i have found nothing specific that could answer your question.
