‘Editor & Publisher’ Picks up on Spiked Koehler Column Story!

Share article:

Looks like others have taken notice of the Tribune Media Service spiking Robert Koehler’s column this week as discussed previously on BRAD BLOG.

Editor & Publisher ran an article on it yesterday.

Bob Koehler will be a guest on tomorrow evening’s BRAD SHOW. Don Wycliff of the Chicago Tribune who wrote an article rebutting Koehler’s original column (which did not run in the Trib) has not yet returned our invitation to appear as well. We hope that he will, as we’d be delighted to allow him to give his side of the story on air.

(Thanks Wiley50 and the folks discussing it at DU for the link!)

P.S. Ted Kalo, the General Counsel to the U.S. House Judiciary Committee Democrats and to John Conyers specifically, has been added as a guest tomorrow night as well! Tune in for him, and some other guests being added today as well!

What a lying hypocrite Don Wycliff is! He now says, "If John Kerry and the Democrats, who had the most to gain, were making this election challenge (instead of people with pure motives, that is), I would get interested."

This is the same guy who invoked the name of Richard Nixon as a "good sport" for not contesting the 1960 election (Nixon would still have lost even if Illinois hadn’t been stolen from him). But now, if Kerry woud only be a "bad sport," then and only then would Wycliff take an interest in the issue. those are the words of a 20-carat phony, dear friends.

No kidding RLM! And to rebut a Koehler article that was never even printed, therefore doesn’t actually "exist" in the minds of the public! What do the readers really think about Wycliff’s references to Koehlers "nonexistent" article? Why the hell did this IQ-deficient bootlicker even bring the subject of Election fraud back up? WTF?

Yep! Have to say I agree with the above!

I must say that I am intrigued by the way Koehler is handling it… He isn’t giving the management or the GOPs any real reason to dis him… and they look foolish when they do! 🙂

    Way to go! 🙂

Brad, Wycliff is not likely to accept your invite. This is a coward who wrote a rebuttal to an article that his paper didn’t even have the huevos to run, so he’s not suited to debate this issue. He’d be eaten alive out from behind his desk!

As far as Robert Koehler’s brave articles, I think we can see why more writers don’t follow though on this type of story. The corporate heads consider these types of writers enemies, and will do what they can to ruin your career, or worse (where do you think Keith Olbermann would be if he hadn’t crapped out on the election fraud story? Out of a job, that’s where! Look how badly he collapsed with the Bev Harris and Clint Curtis stories).

Gary Webb, J.H. Hatfield, Danny Casolero, and Ray Lemme (who wasn’t a writer, but sadly fits into this group) are some names that spring to mind. We’re up against some pretty ruthless people. The Mafia has nothing on them.

Here’s a bit of interesting reading. "The Bush Death List". The people reported about on this blog sure seem to inspire a lot of suicides.

The Bush Death List is very interesting. One fact about J.F.K.’s assassination that always intrigued me was George H. W. Bush’s reaction.

Everybody over the age of 55 can tell you where he or she was, exactly, at the moment that word arrived from Dallas about J.F.K. Everybody, that is, except for George H. W. Bush. He can’t remember.
He said to one reporter, "I think I was in Houston."

Talk about media silence! A former president with C.I.A. contacts and high-profile family connections, who was then preparing to run for Congress, isn’t sure where he was at the most shocking moment of the 20th century, when he was 39 years old and already active in public life. He "thinks" he was in Houston.

    Yuch.

re #6. Strangely enough, Richard Nixon claimed he didn’t remember where he had been on the morning of Nov 22, 1963. He claimed he heard about the assassination on the radio of a taxicab in an airport in NYC but that he couldn’t remember where he had flown in from … later it was revealed that he had started the day in Dallas … So now we have two people who can’t [or couldn’t] remember. How curious!
