Last night’s debate drew in a record number of viewers and offered a striking contrast from the debates we’ve seen so far this year from Republicans. But, did it change either the trajectory or the conventional Beltway “wisdom” for any of the candidates? Has the Democratic Party finally broken away from the shackles of corporate wingnuttery?
Was Hillary Clinton able to overcome the absurd attacks over pretend scandals from corporate media and the GOP? Was Bernie Sanders able to demonstrate his viability as a general election candidate? And what of those other guys on stage with them — and even one who was not on stage with them? Why did this debate draw even more viewers than the Clinton/Obama matchups in 2008? And was the DNC right in their decision to limit the number of debates for the Democratic candidates this cycle?

I think one thing of note was the fact that CNN and the rest of the entire mainstream media and I mean ALL of them are flat out lying about who really won the debate.
There were probably at least a dozen polls and at least 3 focus groups that I know of.
Sanders won every one of them by a HUGE margin.
In one focus group I think it was even CNNs own focus group which BTW they have since taken down and deleted it completely from their site there were even 2-3 Clinton supporters that were actually turned into Sanders supporters that night and they all voted unanimously that Sanders won the debate handily.

However to listen to the lying heads you would think exactly the opposite they ALL claim that Hillary won the debate.
CNN even took down their poll showing Sanders beating Hillary by 82 to 17 and then replaced it with some weird thing that supposed to look like a poll but shows Clinton ahead by 72 to 18.
Then CNN sponsored a page on Facebook that was a full blown attack ad against Sanders saying that he is lying about his support for Vets?
So as far as ALL the media is concerned the FIX is in, they are 100% complicit in trying to steal this election as they were in the blatantly stolen elections of 2000 and 2004.
Will they get away with again?
The oligarchy, exposed for what it is, is attempting an end-run around democracy.
If they give Clinton the Democratic nomination (and it will take them *giving* it to her, since the preference of the voters is clear), it will destroy the Democratic Party.
And if that comes to pass, I say good. To the dustbin of history with them, right next to the Whigs.
