Ooh, she looks unhappy. I would be too, if I had just been called on four years of bullshit all at once, when I was assured by my husb– president that I would slide right through.

And Senator Boxer is my new hero. She is an ass kicker.

Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on with the Clinton Curtis story? Why hasn’t a proper investigation started? Why hasn’t he just gone to the police?

He has gone to the police, Fred. Specifically the FBI and other law enforcement bureaus. Question may be how much *they* are actually looking into it. Or not.

I will do my best to let you know what I know when I know it.

Working on a few things, but don’t like to report anything until I have confidence in it. Hang in there…

Oh man, freaked me out when the page opened and saw that face. I mean can’t you just see the gears turnin inside that head?

Well, this extra time is a good thing even if it does’nt change the outcome because it gives millions of Americans the chance to see Rice and the Admin. taken to task for all their lies and misinformation. You know, she did’nt look too good when my new hero Barbara Boxer was cleaning her clock. Obviously she’s not used to, and can’t hack any critisism ’cause she looked like she was getting ready to start spittin bullets at Sen. Boxer.

Is it just me, or do any of you sense a change in the willingness of some Democrats to get up in their faces more since the electoral challenge? Maybe it’s just wishful thinking……….

I don’t think it’s just you, Supersoling. But before I get too excited, I wanna see how much they can really carry through with this newfound almost-backbone. They are Democrats after all. So let’s see if they really keep it up before we get too excited 🙂

Ask yourself this question….. "Do you feel lucky"????

A cold, hard looking, bitter, spiteful expression from someone who knows the harm she has done.

She ,along with many other top cabinet members, carry the lies, death and destruction on their shoulders forever. Those thoughts won’t disappear….they remain 24hrs day 7days a week …. nor will any amount of alcohol or drugs make the serious mistakes right … or OK.

    Justice will prevail.

I don’t think so. Let your Senator and Congressperson know how you feel about this Joke of a nonmination. Powells farewell to his people was the only other big joke of the day.
Weather "junkies" pray for more snow and ice-its a fitting tribute to this uncaring admisteration.
Viva Boxer and Kerry and boo to the rest who cowardly okayed her nomination.

Well at least the pipeline is going ahead.

Since the U.S.-led offensive that ousted the Taliban from power, the project has been revived and drawn strong U.S. support. The pipeline would allow formerly Soviet Central Asian nations to exports [sic] rich energy resources without relying on Russian routes.

Rice’s friends at Unocal and Enron must be well pleased with her "work".

"..refrain from impugning my integrity." That’s the best she could come up with? I suppose all they do at the Whitehouse is party. George walks in with the bags of cocaine, Condoleeza on one arm, Laura on the other. Dick Cheney searches for the valuables. Alberto Gonzalez gets a gay orgy started while Donald Rumsfield videotapes it. And Karl Rove emcees the whole thing.
Whitehouse gone wild. On sale now for only $19.99.

re#9 Winter Patriot The Trans Afghan pipeline has been in the works since at least the late eighties. Rice will undoubtedly prove invaluable as Secretary of State in helping pave the way for US contractors, to build the pipeline and a multibillion dollar liquification plant at some port. The natural gas will have to be liquified to ship by sea. Unocal, Halliburtin, Bechtel, all friends of Bush, Cheney must be frothing at the mouth thinking about all those dollars.

Condi, DUMYA and friends do not give a damn about anyone, have no consciences, and think only of themselves. They believe they can do as they please, and no one can stop them. They sleep well at night. She is defiant, plain and simple. Like DUMYA, she doesn’t care what Boxer or anyone says. She will never admit a mistake. DUMYA’s money will always protect her. She believes she has nothing whatsoever to fear – ever. She may be right!?! What say you?

re:Bando Bling’s comment. Under Condi’s watch the two most massive intelligence falures in the history of the United States. My question is were they intellignece failures or was 9-11 allowed to happen. With the billions at stake in the Trans Afghan pipeline, and gasification plant, and the second largest oil reserves in the world in Iraq what would be a few thousand lives to these multinational conglomerates. With the bandits in Washington I wouldn’t doubt anything. I have no way of knowing but I damn well have questions.

These people have a really warped idea of "opportunities". Don’t forget that, shortly after 9/11, Shrub gloated, "Lucky me–I hit the trifecta!", and continued crassly, tastelessly repeating that wisecrack, and its variations, numerous times, mainly at his fundraising events.

One of the (many) frustratingly horrible things is that they feel so self-confident and protected that they blurt these insulting pearls out publicly, not just behind closed doors.

The only newsworthy thing about this Democratic "delay" is that anyone takes it seriously. I mean, seriously, if anyone thinks these guys have as much backbone as a jellyfish, they ought to be ashamed for being fooled twice (2000/2001 and 2004/2005).

The Democrats are terrified and are cooperating with the Bushists, for fear of reprisals. That’s why, for instance, they let Barbara Boxer challenge Ohio and vote against coronating Bush, while the other senators and nearly all House members said, "Yeah, Bush, he’s my man! Crown him King!" They were afraid of Bushist retaliation. They went along with the sham "debate" that day in hopes it would keep their voters fooled. Now they are going to "delay" Ms. Rice’s confirmation to keep their voters fooled. How many times do we have to be fooled? January 6 should have been the last day for being fooled.

I am not like Ralph Nader. I don’t say both parties are Hitlers. I say the Bushist Party is Hitler and the Democratic Party is Chamberlain. They sell out their allies in the hope of buying "peace" from the Bushists, who give them war anyway.

Re. Pushcat #17 Yea, I too believe that they allowed 911 to happen because it fit their need for a "Pearl Harbor like" event in order to get the people to go along with their plans to go into Afghanistan and Iraq. It’s known that the Neocons in PNAC (project for a new american century) were planning all this long before **sh was ever selected in 2000. So we know now that they were’nt going to let a little thing like an election get in their way.

Re. Chemoelectric . Org # 21,I was just saying I sensed a change for whatever it was worth, and in strange way it almost seems like they’re thinking, well now that we’ve lost the election, we can say what we want because there’s no longer any risk in it. Does that make sense? I know the world is upsidedown right now , but damn.

What stunningly marvelous opportunities! 4000 dead on September 11… 100,000 dead in the cradle of civilization… 150,000 dead in Asia.
What great luck! And now we must bring freedom to six more countries immediately, so the great foreign policy expert states. The joy is uncontainable.

I love when Senator Boxer said to the helmeted shithead that its fine to tell a little lie if you are selling can openers. But in selling a war, one would hope for a bit of fact.

I think #16 Peggy is right, I don’t believe any of these insane people think about the destruction they have caused. Most pathelogical liars actually believe their own creation of reality. It is up to us to keep the word out there. Email encouraging words to Boxer and Kerry. Let Conyers know you are with him in his quest for truth. Email your Representatives to tell them what you expect them to do. When they hear enough voices, they will start to listen.

Hi, friends – Winter Patriot & Freebird – previously I was thinking demonstrations don’t work. But I have changed my mind after talking with you folks and reading bloggers and material on the internet. Particularly, a massive, massive flooding to the streets of America, e.g., by 53 million people, or all voters for John Kerry. I am heartened by the letter sent to DUMYA by Sgt. Benderman who refuses to return for a second tour in Iraq, counts DUMYA as America’s enemy, and say up to 75% of the troops agree with him (see http://www.bellaciao.org on Jan 15). The troops are with us, and we with them!

Themes could be "voters for Kerry" "supporters for Boxer and Conyers" – could take several days, nice if it interfered with a DUMYA personal appearance event, or any drafting activities, or what other ideas are floating around out there? Coincide with the actual filing of impeachment papers against DUMYA, Senators, Congresspeople, and DUMYA’s administration. Mock arrests and imprisonment of DUMYA and the Senator/Congressperson supporters in your area? Get the soldiers and families to join us? It must be the protest of the MILLENIUM, i.e., THE VELVET REVOLUTION.

The dangers to our country from this administration run a lot deeper the Condi Rice. Even Bush, himself, reminds me of the "Front" in "The Manchurian Candidate".

The Afghanistan pipeline may have been in the planning stages in the eighties, however, the Bush administration was meeting with the Taliban just before 9/11 to finalize the project. That’s one reason Cheney does not want to release a list of participants in his energy commission. The American people would come unglued if they knew the truth about the Taliban.

It’s amazing that Dr Rice showed up for work on 9/12. A competent National Security Advisor would have connected the dots. The GOP should be ashamed of her nomination. History will be unkind to these criminals!!!!!!

So where did Condi get that DARTH VADER hairstyle anyway? LOL

For the right-wingers attempting to stir racial tensions, you all must be reading from Karl Rove’s playbook. Despite being white, actually tanned, I have had the opportunity to fight against racism all my adult professional life. I have witnessed the subtle nuances of racism to the overt racist cross burnings of white hooded men. I remember in Florida during a campaign I worked on in 1976, when the white community of a town supporting our Republican opponent had a long-standing sign when you entered which read, "No niggers after 7:00 PM," and when the local sheriff kicked a black man to death in his jail cell with his cowboy boots, and when the Klan marched into town and burned a small black owned church to the ground.

So I remember the great white flight…when Republicans lured away white southerners from the Democratic Party through race-baiting and exploiting racial division. I witnessed it first hand in southern politics and political campaigns. The only thing I could say back then to my southern neighbors who switched and ran…was good riddance!

I can honestly say that Condi Rice dishonors the black race when she embraces a Republican Party, President, and administration that has strategically planned for years on how to create race-baiting tensions, converting white southern Democrats to switch to the Republican Party through racist slurs and innuendos, suppressed and defrauded black and other minority voters, and associates with the likes of George Bush and Karl Rove who were party to these racist games back during the 1972 elections while her hero GEORGE BUSH was AWOL and working as a student of Alabama politics at the same time boy wonder KARL ROVE was learning the same Nixonian "dirty tricks" of the trade.

So it shouldn’t have surprised anyone when George Bush and Karl Rove teamed up to get DUMBYA elected Governor of Texas and used gay bashing, gay marriage, and gay fear mongering to whip up the Texas Bible Belt as a strategy to defeat their opponent, Ann Richards, with a slew of lies and dirty tricks. Sound familiar? You think the "gay marriage" issue appeared out of nowhere in 2004? Go back to 1994 and you’ll see how they planned to win in 2004 by making sure gay marriage became an issue!

So the picture of Condi and then the next thread shot of a Nixon Inauguration goes hand in hand, from one war criminal to another, one lying dirty trickster to another, one more oil and gas President to a no-go-girl with her name on an oil tanker. Condi belongs in a prison cell along with all her other accomplices, Bush, Rove, and their corporate puppet-masters. Being a traitor to both her race and her country, only makes her a double ended disgrace.

I’ll never forget Condi saying,"who could have imagined using airplanes as bombs and crashing them into buildings," only to learn that the pentagon had been secretly running tests of the idea. How could she have not known? She likes to play innocent but is guilty as hell.

Any way… here is a link to a very worth while piece. A little lengthy but well worth the read.

Yes, the left of left Brad banned the free speech of Atty Jim.

Limbaugh is so yesterday, Paul. Like you are about to become. Watch out, Ed Schultz is coming and he’s as mad as hell. And you are going to be taking it, all the way down. Limbaugh’s been taking it for years, and I don’t mean oxycontin, either.

To paraphrase Tom Robbins, it looks like the Exxon Condi, or whatever that tub is named, ran aground on her head

    C. Rice is the female McCarty.

But even he would shrivel up and exclaim "we are not worthy" upon seeing her in action.

A died in the wool fascist if ever there was one.

Senator Boxer made her nervous, though. Did I tell ya? Someone observed that during the questioning, Ms. McCarthy was twisting her pen with all her fascist might. She can’t strangle Barb, so we’ll see what happens in the nine hours coming up.

Yeah, don’t ever let a Fascist get her hands on a ball point pen.
