Eighteenth-century English usage and the U.S. Constitution
(Brad Blog contributor: my book now launching on Kickstarter

To Brad Friedman, et al.,

Here is where most of my writing time has gone, for the last two to three years:

https://www.kickstarter....on-in-the-bill-of-rights

(For anyone familiar with Kickstarter, it's easy. For others--go to the link, press the green button, follow the prompts.)

The thesis of the book is that gun control IS constitutional.

What has been done to the (actual) language of the U.S. Bill of Rights is loosely analogous to what has been done to vote tallies in elections.

Accuracy would benefit the pubic. We CAN pass sensible gun laws, without violating the 2nd Amendment. The founders believed in human limits.

(And if centuries of English usage don't sound like your cup of tea, remember that the holidays are coming up.)

Respectfully submitted,

Margie Burns, Ph.D.
