On last Tuesday’s Green News Report, we told you how Fox “News” recently reported that turbines on wind farms are actually a cause of global warming. Never mind the fact that they are not, and that the actual study Fox misreported on even says as much within it!
And then there’s the other irony here that Fox usually tells us that human beings can’t cause global warming. But, whatevs. As usual, they’ve got some messaging confusion over there in Crazy Land.
So, how long will it be before Fox reports the following hilarious Onion report, as if it’s factual? 🙂

OK…I got to 1:22 and I literally couldn’t take it any more. Are these actually real people? They…um, live and breathe and eat and so on… because without some serious scientific testing, I’m gonna go with “the aliens have landed.”
I’ve seriously never seen anything so outlandish. The coal lobby? Really????

I read the report that was referenced in the video. I reality what it says is that wind farms warm the earth beneath them by taking a layer of warmer air above the ground and redistributing it nearer the surface. This is MIXING already warm air (caused by global warming) with cooler air nearer the ground. It has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with global warming. I’m 100% certain that the guy who wrote the article (or those who paid him to do so)was certain that the stupid people at FAUX News would pick it up and misrepresent it as global warming to the IDIOTS that watch it. I wonder if they’ll pick up on the fact that FAUX News is constantly harping that global warming is a hoax but is now reporting it’s man-made.
I’m shocked! People are actually STILL listening to FOX?

I have no quibble with your comment, in general. You are absolutely right about the report that Fox “News” misreported to its viewers, as we discussed in last week’s Green News Report. That said, you may want to go back and read the article above and the video along with it a bit more carefully 🙂
