I am pleased at Nancy pelosi's attempt to NOT install the democratic corporate mouthpiece Steny Hoyer as Majority Leader. He's another tool, not as bad as Hastert, but still...another tool of corporate hegemony.
Hoyer is corrupt, watch him closely.

Sounded like a pretty good crowd chanting! Rahm Emanuel has been begging for this and I hope the Republicans are realizing that if we're doing this to our own leadership, "the gig is up"!
The Republican, phony revolution is finally over! The Republican options are as follows:
Sit down!
Shut up!
It will be better if you turn yourselves in. The American people may judge you less harshly if you do. We'll see what kind of mood we're in the morning of your surrender.
I love this story!
Thank you Cindy!

Just so the dems know ... we are going to give you a chance to do the proper thing.
Caving in to the neoCons is not the proper thing.
Stop the war mongering, lying bastards .... NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!

To the dems who are contemplating weakening, next in line for our support come the independents, greens, and other progressives.
If you do not stand up like the voters mandated, we will drop you and go to them.
IRAQ is a pile of sh*t that stinks to high heaven and we want out of it !!!

Yes, I am pulling for Cindy and the Jersey Girls and anybody else who will make the Dems keep their eyes on the ball. I do not like coporate Dems anymore than I like corporate Rebumblicans, and we are in the opening stages of co-opting the Majority. Cindy, et al, should push for full-bore deep and continuing investigations into the sponsorship and beneficiaries of this entire war-making enterprise. Go where the evidence leads and keep the pressure on. If the Dems do not do this, they will be framed by the opposition. The natural impulse of Dems will be reallocate the national energy into fixing things broken or ignored by Bush/Cheney---things lumped into the pot of "domestic spending" and "domestic initiatives". The very second they start talking about this, they are setting themselves up for depriving the military of needed money---not just needed money, ALL the money---and suddenlythe Dems are going to be pidgeoned-holed as big spending liberals who are weak on defense. How we got into this military weakness will be forgotten UNLESS THE DEMS GO TO GREAT AND DETAILED LENGTHS TO GET THE PUBLIC TO SEE HOW WE GOT HERE AND BY WHOSE HANDS.
Get'm Cindy!

Note to dems and republicans:
The regime says it has the right to open and read your mail, and ours.
Stand up or we will all fall together.
Be tough on crime ... the crimes of Bush and Cheney ... or you are one of them instead of one of us ... the people!

Evidently, Senator Reid is not in a mood to play footsies with the regime (link here).

People, there's more than just "Bring the Troops Home" I AGREE 100%, let us get the hell out of IRAQ.
People, The CONSTITUTION NEEDS TO BE RESTORED.
I will give MY LIFE to do that!
Let's not forget about these electronic voting machines and their people, and their corporations, and the media that ALLOWED all these problems in the first place.
ps: sorry I got so nasty on the last couple posts, I was pissed off bad, and in pain too, I still don't have no medical, West Nile Sucks. Don't get bit or you could end up feeling cronically in pain.

I am happy that Reid and Pelosi sent the president a "don't surge" letter.
Good, they are doing what they said they would. I am fully backing the dems.
