Awe the lying murderers might be going down. What i hope people get is that the Democrats are in it with the Republicans. The same corporations own these bastards that would run over anyone person American or otherwise who would dare get in the way of their agenda. The Democrats didn't do shit when the real proof of a stolen election was going down except cower and act like the mass media speak'um truth. The government which runs the political bullhorns will do whatever it can get away with and screw everyone else. Outside a few exceptions they can all burn in the bushit fire. Start with investigating 9/11. Get this Fitzgerald dude to look at the evidence that ties in with Iraq. Maybe stupid Americans that don't want to know the truth should continue accepting the FEMA's explanation of what happened.

I remember when Dick Morris said that Bush's Katrina response was not going to have an impact on his ratings. In fact, he said, that his ratings were going to "soar" after the event.
I also remember making a bet with Mr. Morris that Bush's numbers would soon hit the mid 30's.
Time to pay up Mr. Morris.

Yeah, my favorite Bush supporter was the doofus at a protest in LA, he had the sign "get a clue, morans" or something like that, the epitome of the right wing losers
that will vote against their own economic well being for a phony ideal that is pumped up by the 1%ers to divide the country and get them to vote their way.
Also its hilarious to watch them dumb bastards eat their own too, thats why some of them come here, they've been kicked off of their own sites for trying to form an idea on their own that is contrary to the "talking points"

I see in an MSN sidebar, however, that:
48% of Americans believe in ghosts (with 22% having actually seen them).
and...
51% of Americans believe that God created us in our current shape and form (wisdom teeth, goose bumps, appendixes, and all, no evolution at all).
Wow. As Bobby Zimmerman sang, "The idiot wind, blowing like a socket around our skulls/from the Grand Coulee Dam to the Capital."

Isn't 35% about the percentage of households without the internet? I would bet it's close to that. I blame the aproval rating being that high on lack of information, because of the lack of MSN corporate whores willing to inform them. Most citizens just don't know YET. If everyone knew what we knew, then the approval would be about 3%. That 3% would be the elite rich and Bush's ex-drinking buddies.
Seems as we near the milestone of 2/3 of the country discovering their plot and disapproving, balls are finally sprouting left and right. Hell yeh, and now that we've identified all this crapola, we need to get our troops home. Now.
One final thought this morning as I wake to another day under our 35% dictatorship. With all that's coming to light right now, does anyone else have this horrible feeling another war might be started before this administration is stopped? Would they actually be stupid enough to try another one right now? Sure is looking like it. Hope that's not true.
Why can't the Dems and the somewhat honest Repubs get off their fat asses and reverse the authority they wrongfully gave Bush to start a war all by himself because he can? Why aren't people screaming for that?

I agree, the Dems stink, too. The GOP is STINK...and the Dems are "STINK LITE".
I am so angry that the Dems aren't acting like the GOP did when they were the minority. They were always attacking Clinton early on. And the Dems have so much ammo.
I agree about the Dems saying nothing about electronic voting machines and the stolen election. These are the guys we're fighting for? The guys letting the internet do all the talking for them? Where's Kerry/Edwards on vote machines and fraud? You see all over the country, GOP candidates calling for recounts and starting lawsuits when they lose elections. The Dems say, "Oh, well...forget about it." And we're fighting for these guys?
I'm seriously thinking of switching to the Green Party.

For Skip (#11): Here's one historian's take on the 35% who still support Bush.
10% of the population supports the president, no matter who he is or what he does, because "he deserves our support." These folks are sincere and well-intentioned, but their favorite literature is Winnie the Pooh and Nancy Drew mysteries.
15% of the population are religious fanatics in the Bible belt who believe Bush has been sent by (the one true) God to save America from evil. These folks and their pastors are also sincere (many will disagree with me about that), and their favorite literature is Ben-Hur (and all other fiction stories made into historical epics starring Charlton Heston).
10% of the population simply hates liberals. They aren't sincere. Their unspoken credo is, "The enemy of my enemies must be my friend." Bush is our enemy, we're their enemy, so Bush becomes their friend. The favorite literature of these folks is the Drudge Report.
There you have it. 10+15+10=35.

Very sharp observations in this thread!! Especially RLM #22 and Big Dan - Big Ups to youse.
In my worst nightmares, I NEVER envisioned any political party could do as much damage to the core values and SOUL of our country as these Evil GOP Bastards have done.
In my best dreams (ok, 2nd best dreams), as the MSM begins to get back in touch with their RESPONSIBILITY to INFORM (albeit excruciatingly slowly) the Repugnantcan's Criminal Election-Rigging Enterprise will be exposed in full and the abhorrent and illegal results of the 2004 "election" will be voided - with Chimpy, Cheney, et al being thrown out - with an interim bi-partisan executive branch installed until 2008 or a re-vote in '06 WITHOUT PAPERLESS ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINERY.
a fella can still dream, right?

Unfortunately that won't happen in the near future. Voting for all intents and purposes has become a placebo. Thos that control it will not relinquish control easily or fairly. Don't count on fair elections for the forseeable future.
Regarding the 35% - while it's a nice low number, it's also reason for them to begin with their scare tactics again. Look for new 'terra' threats and watch Syria as well as Iran.
Rumor is that Syria is on for January. We need another war to supress disent for the current one. The only way is with forged documents (already being passed around) and with boogeyman scare tactics.

I think you really put your finger on it. There are a lot of folks out there who think they are in the elite or are about to be in it. I believe that it might be possible to form a third party, perhaps called the "Progressive Party", which could incorporate the core constituents of right and left, groups that might turn out to have more in common than they realize. This would in turn allow the corporatist parts of the Pubs and Dems to unite into one party, to consummate their unholy marriage.

I'm reminded of the Catholic Church, where the Pope who was once hailed as the most loved and most important Pope of all time, John 23rd, is now forgotten or even reviled and JP2, who has effectively split the Catholic Church, to the point where the current Pope has stated that he's, like, aok with a much smaller Church in the future (while at the same time pretending to be ecumenical!!!) is on the verge of being canonized posthaste. For creating a smaller, less tolerant Church that is rocked by scandal.
Since when does failure = success? Only in Reactionary World.

Above thread..BigDan's suggestion to form a third party. I like the sounds of that. Gore asked the senate not to investigate Fla. elections. Kerry was soooo bought off. That's the rest of the story as Paul Harvey says. Have often thought that our only hope was to team up with disgruntled republicans, libertarians. If Howard Dean did say Dems. were no longer a pro choice party, that will be our clue. Hillary is in the bag for '08 despite the fact nobody likes her. Seems to me the moderate Dems. are the exact same as Republican. Pick only the ruthless pro corporation candidates will be able to run. The Dems. killed off Dean's candidacy as much as repubs. He had a good chance to win because he was anti war. Not that he was perfect..but fiscal resposibility and anti war were two good starters.

I read that Gephardt and Kerry went together and funded the ad campaign that trashed Dean's position in Iowa.
But, the national media doesn't tell the rest of the country what's happening in each state's primary race. Remember, they didn't really inform the world about Bush trashing McCain with a whispering campaign.
So, we've gotta inform ourselves and then pass the word along.
