The First Annual BRAD BLOGATHON began late Friday afternoon and was scheduled to end Monday evening. As combined blogging extravaganza and fundraiser, it has been a mixed success … so far!
The blogging has been wonderful; we have enjoyed the online company of very distinguished patriots, some of whose words appear here only rarely. Unfortunately, our fundraising efforts have been less effective than we had hoped. Therefore we have no choice but to continue the BLOGATHON.
As regular readers of this space already know, Brad’s blogging permissions have been revoked, and of course we all hope this situation will prove to be temporary.

How you have missed this I don’t know either, Catherine, but here’s the story:
Brad can’t blog because of the BLOGATHON, in support of which Brad gave his blog-keys to a handful of loyal readers and fellow bloggers who took over his blog on Friday afternoon, and who have spent literally every hour since then trying to raise some money for him … and for his blog, and for his radio show.
Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we have yet not raised very much money … and we’re not going to give his keys back to him until we raise some more.
We are hoping to keep his radio show on the air for the rest of the summer — is that unreasonable? We don’t think so. But we need your help.
YOU WANT BRAD BACK?? Great!! So do we!! We’re doing the best we can … but ONLY YOU CAN BRING HIM BACK!
