I have just read "Bush is not a man of his word" which comes as no kind of shock. It then goes on to say Valerie is not allowed to say. Why is she not allowed to say. She should spill her guts to anyone who'll make sure the full story gets out. She should not play by any rules as Bush and his cronies don't.

Like the Germans who were too "well behaved" to stop the NAZI morph by nipping it in the bud, the american government is too nice to stop BIG BROTHER and the neoCons from ruining american government. The spirit of Hitler is alive and well in Washington and so is the blindness of the Germans who did not stop him.
And as the NAZI movement developed the rest of the world turned against Germany.
I can't say that that is likely to happen to america, because it already has happened.

Joe Wilson claimed in his book he did find evidence that Hussein tried to buy yellowcake, I wonder why? A federal court found Valerie Plame did not meet the requirements to be considered covert and Novak said it was Richard Amitage who disclose her name. Armitage is certainly no friend of the White House and a huge critic of the war. I believe Valerie and Joe are enjoying the fame this whole thing brought (cover Vanity fair) to them and are simply try milk their fifteenth minute for all its worth.

Jay, you are so entirely misinformed about Armitage it isn't even funny. He's a PNAC member, a flaming neocon, four square in favor of the White House and the wars.
And, why in the world would Wilson claim in a book what was directly contradicted by the op-ed he wrote that caused such a hullabaloo?

Agent 99's warnings have to do with knowing disinformation (as you'll see in the few BRAD BLOG commenting rules here).
That said, I'll respond to a couple of your comments, as if you didn't mean them as disinfo, but as if you actually believed them to be true. After this, however, consider yourself as having been warned...
Joe Wilson claimed in his book he did find evidence that Hussein tried to buy yellowcake, I wonder why?
Really? Where? Please cite the quote, otherwise the above will be regarded as knowing disinformation.
A federal court found Valerie Plame did not meet the requirements to be considered covert
Really? What court? When? Where?
There is no such finding that I'm aware of. And the fact that she was covert has been confirmed by the head of the CIA, General Hayden in Congressional Hearings.
Now if you are referring to the fact that some have incorrectly --- and without evidence --- argued that she is not covered by the Intelligence Identities Protection Act (IIPA), that's a different story. Those who have made that argument (largely parroting Victoria Toensing), have been thoroughally debunked as completely incorrect.
Even Toensing no longer tries to make that argument.
Nobody has been tried for violation of the IIPA, because Scooter Libby (and others) obstructed the investigation into that. He was found guilty for having done so.
Novak said it was Richard Amitage who disclose her name.
Novak said two Administration officials, including Armitage (the other was Rove), revealed and/or confirmed the identity of Plame.
Armitage is certainly no friend of the White House and a huge critic of the war.
That's ridiculous. And nothing more than wingnut parroting. See 99's comments above.
I believe Valerie and Joe are enjoying the fame this whole thing brought (cover Vanity fair) to them and are simply try milk their fifteenth minute for all its worth.
You may believe what you want. For the first time in the history of this nation, a White House has divulged the identify of a covert operative and, in the bargain, shut down a major intelligence network monitoring WMD in Iraq and Iran (and a time of War with Iraq, and perhaps soon with Iran).
George W. Bush's father, a former head of the CIA, said, correctly, to a CIA gathering in 1999 (video here):
“I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious of traitors.” [Speech at CIA, 4/26/99]
He was correct. You are not. Your comments are nothing but at attempt, using incorrect information, to justify the outrageous and behavior of an unpatriotic and criminal administration.

The more this country sees of Valerie Plame Wilson, the better for it and the world. She, unlike Bush, does not stutter and blink, mispronounce and slur words, twitter nervously while leaning beseechingly into the camera or pause dramatically after making knowingly false and ridiculous pronouncements. She CAN pronounce nuclear. She isn't pouting or expressing boredom by looking off in the distance when discussions become complicated, as does our embarrassment of a commander-in-chief.
Mrs. Wilson joins a distinguished and growing group of eminent, intelligent, ethical experts from every corner of the military and civilian divisions of government who are "outing" incurious George, spoiled and arrogant, corrupt and totally incompetent George. They should all get together.

Plame is gonna be on Countdown tonight. MSNBC at 8. Jay (#8) is obviously a Fox fan, naturally he has the White House spin down pat.
