This is soooo simple, it's stoopid. The gal was trying to get in under the wire for tax purposes. She wanted to be legally considered a Florida resident as to avoid paying New York State taxes. Unfortunately, she left a paper trail a mile long attesting to the fact that she lives in, and works out of New York. She's nailed.

Ann Coulter is not licenced to practice in Florida, but she IS licenced to practice law in New York. She could face discipline in New York for her acts in Florida, under sec. 1200.3 NYCRR, perhaps whether or not she is ever convicted of anything.
