Looks like the hysterics want to shut up anyone who is critical of their religion.
"Flat Earthers" my arse. If a talk show host declared the Earth flat, people would be laughing, not burning up with rage. Enviros react to criticism of man-made Global Warming theories in the same way Muslims react to criticism of Mohammed - uncontrolled rage.

So I guess that, by your way of thinking, virtually all reputable scientists who have weighed in on this matter, as well as a large majority of the American people, are hysterical for trying to push a small minority (that, unfortunately, includes the most anti-intellectual, anti-science, bible-thumping administration in the history of this country) to get on board and help move the country in a responsible direction on an issue that may so significantly impact the planet that our children and grandchildren will have to live on?

The rage is not what is uncontrolled. Neither are White What House "science" and "health facts". These two, as recent congressional testimony shows, are controlled to the point of being corrupted. That "control" is, in fact, the specific problem to be dealt with.
So, not only do we have a Department of Justice Just Us, we have a Department of Science The Flat Earth, and a Surgeon General Coverup Mouthpiece in this fascist regime.
Control or uncontrolled are matters of degree, but what the problem manifests as is a lack of honesty in this administration.
There really needs to be more and more rage sufficient to meet and disinfect the deceivers in republican fantasy land.
A raging fire does kill germs, and yes there should be enough control to direct the rage onto the germs, no matter how raging that fire is.
So control, in this sense, is a matter of focus not a matter of degree. Bring on the rage no matter how much of it, just focus it on the infection.
The we can enjoy the peace and mental health that results and spreads throughout the land.

Uranus is heating up - so is Mars, Pluto and ...Earth...
What if Global warming is the right observation,
but for the wrong reason?
If we approach it as man is at fault and try to stop the unstoppable (the sun is on a warming cycle - as the sea heats up - less carbon is sequestered thus more released into the atmosphere) rather then adapting to the inevitable - it is gonna get warmer (till 2030?) just like it has in the past, we need to alter crops for more warmer - dryer climates - build for more efficient cooling etc...
PS: Hanoity is an idiot.

Even if the scientist are wrong about the main cause of global warming, they have shown that mitigation is possible if we pull together and get it done. Maybe we only forestall it; maybe it only takes our minds off killing each other and puts them on saving each other. Either way, the people trying to obfuscate matters are selling the whole planet out for a paycheck now.

Tom,
In fact the sun has been on a cooling cycle over the last six years as we are reaching the minimum point of the sunspot cycle which historically has correlated with a cooling of the climate.
Also working to cool the climate is atmospheric shading caused by aerosols in the atmosphere.
Yet the world temperatures continue to climb.

The thing that pisses me off the most about the whole global worming thing is how people just argue about it and wait for the government to fix all the problems. But just like in New Orleans the longer people argue about who's at fault the worse the situation will get. The sooner the government gets out of the way the sooner the free market will salve the problem. Only a fool would expect bureaucrats to salve a problem.
