Today a lawsuit was announced in California against 18 counties who are planning on using Diebold, and the state. Also announced is a possible lawsuit in Arizona. In the mean time the media reports a slow primary election in Illinois with a smattering of glitches. Meanwhile, not in the media is that one election official has said that unofficially 50% of the machines in the state have not worked at one time or another during the day. And the Texas SoS has stepped-in and halted a recount in Tom Green Co., because the eSlates will not print all ballot images. The recount is mandated by state law but may not be possible unless Hart can figure out how to fix their problem….

Hey Dredd, Read this
Thanks Floridiot.
With all the electronic voting machine failures we know about, and all the ones we don’t know about yet, one thing is clear.
The upcoming election is going to be an electronic nightmare of "glitches". They would call 911 a "glitch".
So, it is becoming clear it seems that the big protection is going to be exit polls.
And that means the criminals are going to try to screw that up as never before.
We are looking for ways to plumb the depths of the criminals to see what they are up to.
Spread the news to every decent blog, every decent reporter, and every decent American voter.
We want democracy back, and we want it back now.
Watch the exit poll companies … as one blogger here put it, we should try to buy the data from the exit poll companies.
One is linked here.
I sent them this email and am awaiting a response:
"To whom it may concern,
I am interested in finding out how much it would cost to subscribe to your exit poll data during the upcoming November election."
I will let you know what they say.
It would be good for VR, BBV, and perhaps a few other blogs to tap into the data feed and store the data for analysis as needed.
Correct?
Oh yes, I agree, and before I leave this "other" subject alone
for the time being have a peek at #56 in the "Velvet Rev ad" thread, I can only spoon feed myself a little at a time, rinse and digest
Its like going through the "looking glass" don’t you think, Alice?
The Florida Legislature has four similiar/identical bills concerning voting in Florida, requiring paper trails. Everybody, including non-Floridians shoud contact the legislators in our state and let them know that this is an important issue and request that they support these bills. The USA’s future is at stake!
Bill numbers, HB 1401 sponsored by Rep. Gibson and others; SB 2720 sponsored by Sen. Klein; SB 2732 sponsored by Sen. Siplin and SB 1910 sponsored by Sen. Smith.
