I expect her to "sing" or "spill the beans". Or she might murmur this song:
But now we got weapons
Of the chemical dust
If fire them we're forced to
Then fire them we must
One push of the button
And a shot the world wide
And you never ask questions
When God's on your side.
("With God on Our Side", Bob Dylan, a.k.a. "Department of Justice Just Us").

I think she'll be lyin' for Jesus this morning.
Folks such as her feel that "God's Law" is more important than American law. If she has to lie to deal with keeping the overall goal (Repubs right relegious nuts in power - for the purpose of making laws to help make us a "Christian nation") going, she'll do it. The trick will be for the questioners to catch her in some flip-flops with the truth.

DREDD! I just posted that song somewhere the other day...
As far as Monica breaking into tears - I say it'll be in the first hour of testimony...probably when she's making the "dog ate my homework" excuse for not turning over subpoenaed documents.
Guess Regent University didn't teach about penalties for contempt of Congress and violation of subpoenas.
She's a wimp and an amateur - and she thinks she's on a mission from God and did nothing wrong. If we're lucky, that self-righteousness may be what causes her to slip up in her testimony and give Gonzales, Rove, or Myers an "aw shit" moment.
You have to wonder though, why those high-priced attorneys wouldn't tell her to hand over everything to protect her immunity deal. Who's bankrolling these people? Maybe they really work for ROVE?
Wonder if she's figured out yet that they're going to throw her under the bus to save Karl?
Webcast on www.cspan.org - CSPAN 3. Everybody got their popcorn?

Could a Monica again provide the impetus for the impeachment of a "President"? I doubt it. This one thinks she answers to a higher cause. It should be interesting if the Democratic Congresspeople don't drop the ball.
Is this going to be an open blogging thread for 6 or 7 of us like in the old days of The BradShow on RawRadio?

Check this out...the INN Report on Free Speech TV channel 9415 on DISH only. The last 10 minutes of this 30 minute news, is Mark Cripin Miller telling us exactly how serious this infiltration of Regent and Liberty christian fascists into our government is, it's no laughing matter!!!

Hey old timers (and young KBE ) ... the dems seem to be caving, for now, on the Iraq money bill, but they are not caving on investigations yet.
Rove has used the old indian trick of dragging a tree behind the horse to cover its tracks so no one can follow.
With 5-8 million emails missing, and everyone's memory missing, this mockery of justice will probably expand into avoidance of accountability.
The law of the elitist is "only the flunkies go down".

I'd like to remind Pelopussy & Rockless Reid that they were empowered to:
1) End the occupation of Iraq 2) Impeach fuck'in gop criminals. . .

After listening to the questioning from the Representatives so far I have little hope that much will be accomplished here and have grave doubts about ever getting to the bottom of this morass! The Republicans are all tools and the guy from Utah is a DISGRACE. So far, the Dems haven't impressed me much either, although I must say that the amount of time allotted for each questioner seems all too brief for some of the Dems and far too long for most of the Repugs.

Evidently the "GOP Monica" has admitted to breaking federal law:
But she admitted to have considered applicants for jobs as career prosecutors based on their political loyalties a violation of federal law
(Huff Po, emphasis added).

In listening to my local NPR affiliate this morning, I'm catching little snapshot recordings of Goodling that sound like her opening remarks. If how she is portraying herself and her role in the prosecutor firings is true, then why the heck did she take the 5th? According to what I've heard so far, she did nothing more than possibly allow her exuberance for her political beliefs to taint her judgment somewhat, but not to a level that anyone could characterize as criminal.
I want to know WHY she took the 5th? You don't do that, unless a truthful accounting of your actions would criminalize you. Unless there's another reason for taking the 5th, which I don't know about.

The issue is false voter fraud, caging, politicizing justice for all, and unqualified Christian fascists infiltrating our government, destroying separation of church and state.

Goodling was given authority to hire and fire employees at DOJ in a Gonzales signed document.
Now it appears that it was a tactic to shift blame away from someone, because it is strange for the AG to do that ... to allow a neophyte such control.
Goodling admits violating federal law against hiring or firing career employees based on politics.
Then walks out into the fog. The fog called America. We need a fresh wind to blow the fog away, and our current government is not that wind.
