Excellent news, Brad. *evil chuckle* She's so brainless and irritating.
I noticed the comment about the community interest in getting resolution. They are just starting to hear from this country about the corruption that's been going on, in FL and everywhere. I hope anyway.

Ah, shucks! As everyone knows, I'm a huge Ann Coulter fan, and...I buy all her 90%-off books in the clearance bin at Waldens and Barnes&Nobles. They started printing her books with "90%-off" on the cover (not a sticker, but pre-printed AS part of the cover). That's why I love Ann Coulter. Cheap kindling for my fireplace. Where else am I gonna get kindling for a friggin' DIME????????????

When's her next book comin' out? I need more kindling...it's gettin' colder out, did ya notice???
I think the working title for her next book is, "Scrambled Eggs"...or is it, "I'm In F*CKING Jail"!!! 90% off, either way...

Don'tcha just love the Rule of Law?
Now, if we can just get some poelice officer to actually do their job and charge her with a few crimes. What's it take to find an impartial police officer in Florida?
Who would normally charge a person with voter fraud and the like? Would it be a regular street cop or a white-collar detective or someone connected to Jeb?
The front-page news story should be something like: "Coulter guilty, Bush refuses to prosecute!"
The longer this goes on without some Floridian law enforcement officer charging her with violations, then the more obvious it becomes to EVERYONE that Florida is entirely political and the Rule of Law is verboten.
Up to now I've been amused by all this and only wanted to see her slapped around a bit in the press and on blogs. But, as this farce continues I feel some kind of real justice should emerge --- and it might have to include the indictment of some police who refuse to uphold their oaths.
The more they play dirty the more jail time they should get.

Just as a general reference. Any police department or DA's office that becomes aware of a felony MUST take action. The "misdemeanor" part must be withnessed by someone who is willing to bring charges. If a report is filed to either the police or the DA's office their oaths of office require them to investigate. If he doesn't get any action he could call a press conference so that the people who elected the DA and Police Chief will be aware of it. He should file a complain if he doesn't get any action with the State's Attorney General as well.

Is someone gonna tell this guy to check her birthday on her license, too? Wasn't there a discrepancy in her age from when she lived in Connecticut?

As Coulter was voting in a federal election, it should be brought to the attention of the FBI. The police in Palm Beach are there only to protect the reputations of all the low-brow--wealthy-- residents. How do I know? I was born and raised there and my grandfather was the first Chief of Police.
Arrest the bitch, fine her, take away her voting rights and throw her in jail.

Brad, and anyone else in charge, why did this article disappear from the front page? I only found it through the RawStory link. I check BradBlog many times a day, and I never saw it. That's just not fair, and it almost prevented me from forwarding it to a rightwing friend who keeps sending me Ann Coulter columns and other rightwing dreck. He does, however, support paper ballots, which is one of the reasons we can keep being friends.

Anyone who knows who Coulter is already knows she's an evil hose-bag, but if the authorities don't choose to prosecute her, what difference does it make?

Third Degree Felony for Fraudulently Registering Drivers License Added to Previous Allegations of Voter Fraud!
But Palm Beach Election Supervisor Having Trouble Finding Law Enforcement Agency to Bring Charges...
Sad that they are having problems finding someone to prosecute this crime. Has it come to a point where rich and famous right wing hacks do not need lawyers? Are the Republicans the owners and moderators of the "Rule of Law". From what the Bush administration and his followers have demonstrated republican do not have to answer for any violations, just brush off allegations and blame others.

Would it not also be a felony to lie about your gender on her government forms? I'm still trying to figure out if "she" is pre-op or post-op though. I guess if "she" is post-op, TECHNICALLY it can be called a "she".

Well Hell, then, Dex, if I knew I was going to the hoosegow I'd get the surgery and treatment in order to get locked up with a bunch of women instead of men. Who in his right mind wouldn't? But aside from that, yes, it sounds like yet another felony. Ring 'em up! Ding! Ding! Ding!

My limited understanding of the law is that it is up to someone, anyone competent "to testify in court if required to do so" to file an affadavit with the DA's office that states they have personal knowledge of the illegal activity. With that affadavit in hand the DA is then required to prosecute. The police do not have to be involved. The reporter can file the affadavit. The police report, the DA prosecutes, the judge decides the penalty, and no official is allowed to do any work of the other officials.
