They can raise all the money they want, it is very unlikely I will vote for either of them! Suprising enough, many people I speak with, won't be voting for either of them either!

Corporate donations need to be removed from the political landscape. That's 50 million favors owed by whichever one achieves office.
Our election system is compromised by much more than suspect voting systems.

But the difference is Obama raised it with small donations of $25 to $100 on average, while Clinton raised it mostly at $2,000 per plate dinners. She is now capped out with those donors, while Obama can keep on keepin' on.
I'd be way more inclined to vote for Obama at this point than Clinton, but for crying out loud, we're 19 months away from the election.
ANYTHING could happen between now and then. It is WAY too early to know how one is going to feel in November 2008.

I agree. All we can do is send our small donations in large numbers to counteract the corporations. I would appeal to those listening to support Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich. I think John Edwards is a worthy candidate. Mike Gravel also. These are the real deal candidates we need to win in the Primaries. Ron Paul appeals to me with his Re-instating the Constitution. I am a liberal that wants all Rights including the 2nd amendment left alone. If my memory serves me well there was a phrase in there that went "congress shall pass no laws that infringe upon these rights." (Quote not exact) I don't know why the Republican crowd has not picked up on Ron Paul. He is as American as George Washington Himself. The man tells the honest to God Truth. Well I must confess that is not a popular trait in the Republican leadership. If they started telling the truth much they would be going to jail. If any of the above get into office we will be in good hands. We can beat the Fascist but it will take a concerted effort of all.

Me too. I've seen several interviews with Ron Paul. And I read his speech on America moving towards fascism. But "average" Americans just don't want to believe it so they think he's a fringe nut. That's the problem. People just refuse to see the truth because it hurts too much and they realy do feel helpless to do anything about it so they deny it. It's easier. And many won't wake up till it's too late.

Wonder why Obama and corporate Hill haven't been concerned about election fraud. Polls are easy to make up...a few corporations make some million dollar donations...media owned and operated by said corporations. Elections..no problem. You know where the problem comes in ? Campaigning. They can fudge like Bush and call everything private fund raisers/ pose in front of a captive audience...the military. It's gonna' be hard for a democrat to do these things in the coming campaign season. So you can watch for corporate Hill to not campaign so much because she is a senator. Bama isn't missing many votes either. The town hall meetings have question and answer...big meetings you gotta' have a lot of people. This is the number one problem for fascists.
