I'm going to try to get a clip of this guy I heard, on the Sean Handjobbity show, who called in saying how great Bush was for speaking in front of the NAACP. This shill was either some white guy overpronouncing trying to sound black, or a black guy shill trying to sound "blacker". He was even fumbling over his words, trying to sound "black" or "blacker"...it was one of those usual Handjobbity shills, "Sean, I'm a liberal, but I agree with you..." I would LOVE to somehow find out who this guy was. I believe they have worked out callers ahead of time, who aren't really who they portray themselves to be, and are not "ad hoc" callers. Is thiere anyway to find out who a caller was on the Handjobbity show? If I could somehow find the clip from this caller, you will laugh your ass off, because it is so obvious...
I LOVE AMERICA; I HATE SEAN HANDJOBBITY...

Let me just say this: I highly doubt that blacks call in Sean Handjobbity, to tell him what a great job he's doing, and that they fully agree with him, and are conservatives. Sound like a "stretch"???

Whistleblower suspects 9/11 inside job
Another article on Elsberg, use it...
http://www.sploid.com/ne...6/07/pentagon_papers.php
The Pentagon insider who revealed the cynical lies behind the Vietnam War disaster has concluded that the Bush Administration probably orchestrated or at least allowed the horrific attacks against America on Sept. 11, 2001.
Daniel Ellsberg bravely leaked the "Pentagon Papers" in 1971, which finally turned America against the bloody and amoral war. Now Ellsberg says Washington's despots likely committed the ultimate treason right here at home.
"Very serious questions have been raised, about how much they knew beforehand and how much involvement there may have been," Ellsberg said Tuesday on the GCN radio show. (Click here for mp3.)
"Is the administration capable --- humanly and physiologically --- of engineering such a provocation? Yes, I would say that. I worked for such an administration myself."
That was the Lyndon Johnson administration, Ellsberg said, which committed "manufactured provocation" to escalate the Vietnam War.
Ellsberg called for "a very comprehensive and hard hitting investigation of a kind that we've not seen, with subpoenas, general questioning of people, and raising the release of a lot of documents."
Even worse, Ellsberg expects more fake terrorism either before or immediately after the all-but-certain U.S. invasion of Iran. And those new attacks by criminal elements within the U.S. government will lead to a police state that makes the current abuses of power by the Bush Administration look absolutely tame, he said.

Hey everybody!! The flourescent light in the screen on my laptop broke right before I went to democracyfest
I took it all apart, but it still doesn't work, so it's hooked up to a regular monitor now. This is why I disappeared for a few days. I have a lot of catching up to do. I have to go to the rally at the registrar of voter's office, today. We have to count these ballots! There won't be any paper ballots to count in November!! It was a terrible idea to use computers to tabulate votes. We need hand counted paper ballots, like sane countries.

If you haven't had the hair on the back of your neck stand up lately (e.g. if Daniel Elsberg's expectations of what the republican dictatorship may try next), read some of Hepting v AT&T, one of the NSA spying cases.
The good news is that in that case Chief Judge Walker of the Northern District of California weaves his way thru landmine after landmine and on the other side of the minefield, declines to dismiss the case on state secrets grounds ... for now.
Many will be outraged to find out that all the regime has to do is say the magic phrase "state secret" and courts in out nation have dismissed cases ... for too damn long, and now is is another hazard to freedom.
Notice some troubling exerpts:
“The state secrets privilege is a common law evidentiary rule that protects information from discovery when disclosure would be inimical to the national security. Although the exact origins of the privilege are not certain, the privilege in this country has its initial roots in Aaron Burr’s trial for treason, and has its modern roots in United States v Reynolds, 345 US 1 (1953).”
(ibid., bold added).
I don't even like the sound of "state" secrets, because it sounds fascist. A better term would be American secrets ... or national secrets.
Anyway the doctrine from this "not certain" place is so strong now that the president can hide just about anything he wants to - just about anytime.
The Sibel Edmonds case is a case in point.
"State secrets" is an area so very ripe for corruption of the deadly serious type, not just election stealing and money stealing, but serious and deadly corruption.
The opinion is 77 pages, but reading the first five or ten will give the effect.
My guess is that the judge is trying hard to weaken this madness, and let the plaintiffs get to the bottom of some of the corruption.
The government and AT&T are fighting for keeps. So lets keep an eye on it.

Bush's massage of the German Chancellor appeared to be sexist pig behavior.
Would he ever have massaged a man's shoulders?
It was overly familiar, esp in a formal setting.
It demeaned her equal position with the others in the room.
She should have turned & put her foot out & told him to get down there & massaage that next.
His "slap" of Congressman Green was likewise also a put-down.
What a dolt.

Greg Palast has a humorous piece re the speech Bush gave to the NAACP the other day called "They Don't Call It the 'White House' for Nothing".
He says Bush's 'First Home-Boy' rap included 6 mentions of 'God', & 7 mentions of 'faith'.
But if you include 'The Creator' in with 'God', then it's a tie--7 mentions of each.
Bush spoke of HIS family's COMMITMENT to civil rights!
I'm surprised his speech writers put THAT one in there--it might have gotten a big belly laugh from the crowd--despite themselves.
As the philosopher Aretha Franklin said, "Who's zoomin who?"

THERE IS GREAT TV NEWS, RIGHT NOW! YOU DON'T HAVE TO WATCH CORPORATE CONTROLLLED ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, & FOX...DEMOCRACY NOW! TAKES NO CORPORATE MONEY, NO COMMERCIALS, NO GOVERNMENT MONEY!
Compare the below to what you're watching on ANBCBSNNXX, and ask yourself why those are all the same, and Democracy NOW! is different...
There's thousands of news stories a day, yet ANBCBSNNXX have the same 10 stories, all the time, with the same commercial breaks at the same time.
You will NEVER see Noam Chomsky, and rarely Ralph Nader, on corporate-controlled TV news...
Watch Noam Chomsky's interview on Democracy NOW! June 14th...about the Israeli invasion...

Well. You sure could be right on the money there. I do know that most of the victories over the fat cats have come a the price of workers' lives. The self-interest, the me-first, that has gripped most of the people in this society bids me believe the part about sell-out union bosses, too. It also accounts for why we are not rid of these criminals long since, why it has taken so long for the plain truth of Brad's mission to get any traction, why, actually, we have this problem to begin with. So, looks as if Mexico, China and India will be getting our prosperity and the power of the workers with it.

############
In 2004, Laura Bush repeated a story about a woman she met on the campaign trail who told her that the President “was born for such a time as this.” In a recent message sent by e-mail to CUFI supporters, Hagee wrote that his organization “is exactly in the position of Esther. Israel is in a time of crisis. A 21st-century Hitler (the president of Iran) has put in place a plan to exterminate the Jews with nuclear warfare. If we remain completely silent at this time, God’s punishment will come to us also.”
Hagee doesn’t fear a nuclear conflagration, but rather God’s wrath for standing by as Iran executes its supposed plot to destroy Israel. A nuclear confrontation between America and Iran, which he says is foretold in the Book of Jeremiah, will not lead to the end of the world, but rather to God’s renewal of the Garden of Eden. But he also reveals that he is ultimately less concerned with the fate of Israel or the Jews than with a theocratic Christian right agenda. When Jesus returns for his millennial reign, “the righteous are going to rule the nations of the earth … When Jesus Christ comes back, he’s not going to ask the ACLU if it’s alright to pray, he’s not going to ask the churches if they can ordain pedophile bishops and priests, he’s not going to ask if it’s all right to put the Ten Commandments in the statehouses, he’s not going to endorse abortion, he’s going to run the world by the word of God … The world will never end. It’s going to become a Garden of Eden, and Christ is going to rule it.”
Sarah Posner’s profile of TBN televangelist Rod Parsley, “With God on His Side,” appeared in the November 2005 issue of the Prospect.

For fans of heavy music .. wanted to give a heads up for the profoundly anti-Bush/anti-NWO band, The Hidden Hand, fronted by veteran/lifer underground cult metal guitarist/songwriter icon, Scott "Wino" Weinrich [Saint Vitus, The Obsessed, Spirit Caravan]
Wino and Co approach the current state of humanitarian affairs from a mystical angle [often grounded in conspiracy theory, goddess worship and Mayan culture] suggesting that ancient forces are indeed the "hidden hand" shaping and guiding events of today, and that the time is getting late.
They likewise work their message on the temporal field by encouraging people to get involved, to speak out NOW, and even offer a great list of suggested reading in the liner notes of their debut record [Greg Palast, Jim Marrs, and the "loony" David Icke, for instance.]
Also is listed a list of conceptual weapons to be used in defense of the human population in the face of tyranny ...ha, one has to imagine the secret police are all over these guys! Anyhow, I've met Wino from his earlier bands, he's the real deal and a true champion for truth, peace and communication. ..oh, and a monster guitar wiz...
Discography:
Divine Propaganda (03)
Mother Teacher Destroyer (04)
Devoid of Color CD-EP/DVD (05)
*third full length LP due this summer*
Many tunes take aim at media deception, rebelling against the Bushco, Illuminati, Bohemian Grove, and they close out MTD with an instrumental titled The Deprogramming of Tom Delay. There's also some refreshing flourishes of ol "flower power" unity/solidarity.
Some blunt lyrics here, not as mystical sounding as some.

There's thousands of stories out there, but they have the same 10 stories with the same exact commercial breaks at the same time...click between them @ 6:30 when they break for commercials.
Democracy NOW! last week, just had extensive interviews with Ralph Nader, Noam Chomsky...they had people on from the Israeli Peace Movement the MSM is not telling us about. They talk about vote fraud.
It is absolutely WONDERFUL news! As a test, then go back to ANBCBSNNXX, and it's like going from a Cadillac back to a Yugo...you will NEVER watch it again...
But you just have to DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Republican tactic this election cycle is (I think) to try to drive wedges in the left. It turns out that a lot of liberals are FOR punitive immigration policies, it seems, and support Israeli militarism.

I was happy to see Lou Dobbs is still plugging away at your voting machine issue, but was astounded to hear that the 'powers that be' have voted in favour of selling out your port security, this time to Oman. Did I hear correctly, or are my aged ears playing tricks on me..?
There was such an outcry when a similar deal was proposed a couple of months ago and it was nipped in the bud in short order. How come this time I don't hear any voices being raised anywhere..?
Ohhhhhh, I forgot......it was Friday when this report came out, and Friday seems to be the day congress has chosen to release info about anything that could have lots of backlash, probably in the hope that any furor will have died down by the time business starts up again next week.

The republican dictatorship is deadly dangerous. Most don't even think it exists, and those of us who do, get fire from all sides.
The voting rights movement is fragmented (see Catherine A post #62, and read her link) and there is a significant amount of dispair and depression (see Peg C post #38 and Agent99 #39), and a lot of haha to try to deal with it.
I think dispair and depression in the present national and world reality is a sign of sanity and emotional balance. These are the folks who will, thru hope, tend to survive in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead.
I am doing serious consideration of going back into the wilderness for a few years. But if I do I will be sending sane vibes back to all the wonderful people I met on brad blog and BBV. But I will be unable to blog.

Actually the Dubai deal has not been quashed, but is still on. For 22 ports.
And 9 military factories have also been sold to them.
And now more ports to unstable mideastern countries.
Why? The republican dictatorship is settling some old scores a la the Hatfields and McCoy (link here) type "wars".
Yep the republican dictatorship is in full blown revenge mode. Get backs are a m**her f***er (link here).
In the present case the mother getting screwed is mother earth, mother freedom, and mother peace.

Just a brief hello from the hills of Tennessee:
I'm happy to see the rest of the "6 or 7" is keeping the ball rolling and feet to the flames on the issues. I can't be here as often as I like these days - we are in the final days of summer vacation, and it seems that the kids are trying to pack in everything they can before they're sentenced to spending long days behind a desk again.
If anyone needs to contact me, you can leave me a shout or a private message on my blog at Dockwave Blogs. Unfortunately the owners have made changes that make access as difficult as possible (too many anti-Bush comments maybe?), so instead of the easier "captcha" Brad uses here to eliminate spam, you have to register a username and password - no big deal, just need an email address. Once you get to the blog menu, mine is usually near the top of the list.
Keep up the good work y'all. I'll catch up sometime between return to school and harvest time.

TruthMove is not merely a 9/11 page...
At the start of this thread TruthMove.org got grouped in with three other 9/11 websites, being those that should "handle" 9/11, while Brad sticks to election fraud. While we appreciate the shout out, and do have a reasonable 9/11 section, what we offer greatly distinguishes our project from the others.
Our organization is focused more broadly upon the many prominent catagories of official deception and media complicity, also addressing the psychological challenges of going through the paradigm shift that accompanies pulling back the curtain to expose that which is valid.
TruthMove.org has an Election Fraud page. The website is always in development, and this section is one that deserves more attention. Suggestions are always welcome.
Whatever your hot botton issue happens to be, remember that the very same people are currently responsible for each of our woes.

Gosh, I sure got behind on this thread. 99, here on the downeast Maine coast, we're experiencing the monsoon season in earnest. Unbelievable! There has been one (1) truly clear day this entire spring and summer. The wildlife doesn't know what to make of it, the birds are much fewer in species and number, and it induces such a feeling of foreboding that one feels (if one feels and thinks at all) as if one's head and limbs were filled with lead - and dread.
The whole world is suffering for the rapacity and indifference of a very few members of one exotic species of mammal - and I don't mean the elephant or the kangaroo.

Yep, Peg, I've been talking on my new, high-tech, hands free, shoe phone, to all my friends far-flung, and their gardens are getting sunburns, their plants are wilting, their animals are panting... dead birds in the yards. Record highs all over California today. 120 in Needles, which isn't a record high, but might be for this time of year. Most of the state, especially in the coastal areas, doesn't get really high tempertures until late August and September. This isn't looking good. Everyone's afraid it will be exponentially hotter then.
Usually it cools in October and then we get a little come-back, called an indian summer, before the holidays start up. I'm about as far northwest as you can get and still be in California on dry land, and it's been 80 or so here all day... ridiculously hot for this area.
Just what we need, a greedy pinhead, calling the shots right now. Not. We need the man we elected, President Gore, and we need him badly. If we can't get him, we HAVE to get someone who will take dramatic action to help try to turn this around, to whatever extent we are able.
Don't forget, you can get in the tub with some ice cubes! I'm worried about everybody, big time. Everyone I know is sitting in a puddle of sweat, having to put on tennis wristbands to keep their keyboards dry, sitting naked in front of a fan with a spritzer bottle, off loitering at the nearest air conditioned shopping mall, or trying to nap through it on the cold cement of their basements and garages! This is so scary, on top of the usual abjection of heat waves, that I could just scream.

Maybe I should write a screenplay about two sweaty old biddies arriving, panting and flapping, in Henry Ford's factory from the future to talk him out of it! Maybe we could go even further back. Or maybe we could settle for some way of making Sandra Day O'Connor understand that she was going to live to SERIOUSLY regret a certain SCOTUS decision she could have prevented...?

But Hannity has that flag around him at all times, on all his 80% off books that hit the shelves already @ 80% off, I think they now come printed "80% off" (not a sticker anymore), with flags all over the place, everywhere you see him, always calling EVERYONE ELSE unpatriotic, and saying EVERYONE ELSE hates America, blurting people out if they don't agree with him, he has Devo hair and a smirk I'd love to slap off his face. I think he needs to be made irrelevant, like the rest of the "liars" Limboob, Coulter, and O'LIEly... Anyone up for starting a website named ihateseanhannity.com??? Or is there one already??? I've always wanted to visit New Zealand because of its natural beauty and its various other gorgeous attributes. But I don't like what rampant tourism is doing to its overall state of mind. Newfoundland, on the other hand, where I've spent many months, is relatively unscathed by the new pop/daredevil/thing-y youth psychology. One can have a computer/cable/cell phone/internet access; but, the last time I was there, the tenor of day-to-day life in the countryside felt more early-twentieth-century. I have so many stories of personal encounters...

Here on the west coast USA, in the Sacramento Valley, we've been running 15 degrees above normal for over a week now with another week forcast. 111F. yesterday - old record 105. The low overnight last night was 84F. the previous record was 71F. Our average for this time of year is 95/63.
To top it off, the monsoons which usualy stay to the east of the Sierras have been coming up the valley and raising the humidity from a nomal 10-15% to up in the mid 40% range. Just clouds in the valley - no rain.
The nightime sea breezes which flow in through the San Francisco bay and spread out through the valley have been completely shut down.
All across the country there are record highs and last year nation wide average was an all time high.
It's already 104 today with another 4-5 hours to go until it peaks.
Yet people still claim global warming is a bunch of hogwash!

"Gruesome" is certainly the word for it! The holographic stuff fits very well with my Zen, with the ancient masters on the subject of existence on any scale, and, yes, they and their subject matter go a long way toward settling our hash!
The "One Vehicle" school of Buddhism (Ekayana) speaks of the ten times, as directly contrasted with the three (past, present, future) into which we seem chained. So I think you are onto something big here. The answer is in more of the times than this... probably all... and our portal into effectiveness with this nightmare will be through one of them. I'm on it!!!!!
We could be park rangers or lighthouse keepers while we work this out... with help from MMIIXX or your family to get away from the insanity. Besides, we mustn't have the NSA barging in on our work or all will be lost!

Man, those Hannity polls are precious!
Big Dan:
I would be very surprised to find any site that has archives of Hannity. They know he lies every day, and I don't think they're going to let people save it on their computers. I think it's actually a pretty good place to find out what the Neo-cons are up to if you can stomach every single caller saying, "you're a great American Sean"! (I can's stand it anymore myself, and rarely listen for more then a minute)!
Here are some of my favorite, hate-filled moments from his radio show:
I'm not positive about this one, but I'm pretty sure he called the beloved actor, Dustin Hoffman a traitor for saying something about Bush.
The first time Al Gore spoke, the only place you could hear it live, was on Hannity's show. As soon as he found out Gore was loaded for bear right from the start, Hannity started saying, "Gee, looks like he's been drinking and put on a lot of weight. He looks terrible". I desperately wanted to hear Gore, and wanted to kick the punk!
The day after the Dixie Chicks said they were ashamed to say they were from the same state as George Bush, Hannity started out his show by playing one of their songs, and then you heard the needle scratch across the record and then the record being broken into pieces! Cute, huh?
This Anti-American traitor is never going to get the blood off his hands. The show was designed to rally people into war, (note the Christian Crusade music at the first of every show), Take some solace in that!

Speaking of suspicious "suicides", I remember reading about this one...
From HuffingtonPost:
"MP casts doubt on David Kelly suicide"
LONDON (AFP) - An opposition member of parliament has alleged that a government scientist who cast doubt on intelligence about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction may not have taken his own life...
...A judicial inquiry into the death of David Kelly in July 2003 concluded that the one-time UN weapons inspector and expert on Saddam Hussein's weapons programmes committed suicide...after he was named as the source of a BBC news report suggesting that Tony Blair's government had "sexed up" intelligence in the run-up to the US and British invasion of Iraq four months earlier.
"Today, I challenge that conclusion," wrote Norman Baker, from the Liberal Democrats,...
...the medical evidence available simply cannot sustain it...
...paramedics who attended the scene where Kelly's body was found...noticed that he...was "incredibly unlikely" to have died from the wound they saw..."

The republican dictatorship is on a mission to intimidate the NY Times and congress with criminal charges concerning the NSA case:
The FBI is close to finishing a series of interviews with the top Congressional leaders and other key Members in both chambers as part of its wide-ranging criminal probe of alleged leaks of the previously classified domestic surveillance program
...
The interviews ... are taking place in Members’ Congressional offices, usually with two FBI agents and one Justice Department lawyer in attendance. Members are also permitted to have a House or Senate counsel on hand if they wished.

Foremost 9/11 Whistleblower Discusses Possibility Attack Was Inside Job
Edmonds agrees weight of evidence leans towards criminal complicity
Prison Planet.com | July 24 2006
Sibel Edmonds, a 32-year-old Turkish-American, was hired as a translator by the FBI shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 because of her knowledge of Middle Eastern languages. She was fired less than a year later in March 2002 for reporting shoddy work and security breaches to her supervisors that could have prevented those attacks.
Edmonds appeared as a guest on the Alex Jones Show to give an update on her organization's progress and indicated that the preponderance of evidence, plus the outright cover-up surrounding 9/11 - suggests that criminal elements at the very apex of the US military-industrial complex had a direct hand in carrying out the attack.
A partial transcript appears below.

OK, since I use my brain (not like reichwingers), I'm going out on a limb and taking an educated guess, and say that Sibel Edmonds is under gag order, because she has evidence of who was behind 9/11. Sibel: don't fly in any small aircraft, ala Wellstone, JFK, Jr, don't get put in jail (see Ken Lay and several others connected with Enron) and Milosevic...
What would I do if I were under gag order like ANY of these people? Like Sibel, and the NYC police & Fire dept??? GO TO ANOTHER COUNTRY, AND SPILL THE BEANS IN THEIR MEDIA!!!!!!!!! And come back, after all of the political crooks are in jail!!!!!!!!!!

The Israeli invasion of Lebanon was planned between top Israeli officials and members of the Bush administration. On June 17 and 18,2006 former Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Likud Knesset member Natan Sharansky met with Vice President Dick Cheney at the American Enterprise Institute conference in Beaver Creek, Colorado. There, the impending Israeli invasions of both Gaza and Lebanon were discussed.
{Without reservations Cheney gave Israel the ok to enact the provisions of the "A Clean Break - A New Strategy for Securing the Realm" - A Fascist Neo-con Middle East Plan,.. stopping the land for peace deals
and starting aggressive militaristic plans. This "Clean Break Plan" was drawn up by Richard Pearle, Douglas Feith and David Wurmer, et al - Neo-con Fascists all. This "Clean Break Plan" was drawn up in 1996, prior to the "Project For A New American Century" Plan. Here again the "Plan" was destabilize the Middle East, The USA and/or Israel to attack Iraq, then Gaza, then the
West Bank, then Lebanon, then Syria, then Iran. This
recent military adventure of Israel has little to do
with the "kidnapping" of Israeli soldiers as claimed,
but more to do with full enactment of the 1996 "Clean
Break" Plan.}

The Great Mosque. South of the souk on the way to the Castle of St. Louis, is the Great Mosque, formerly the Church of St. John of the Hospitalers. The four walls of this rectangular building (recently restored to their natural beauty) date to the 13th century. Originally fortress-like Crusader compound with its own chapel, it is still an imposing structure, especially viewed from the seaside.
Look at the history of this area, it goes back more than 4,000 years. Link

From RawStory:
Sen. Inhofe Compares People Who Believe In Global Warming To ‘The Third Reich’
Sen. James Inhofe Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) is the nation’s most prominent global warming denier. He famously declared that global warming is “the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people.” Now, he’s taken the argument a step further. In an interview with Tulsa World, Inhofe compared people who believed global warming was a problem to Nazis:
"...“It kind of reminds . . . I could use the Third Reich, the big lie,” Inhofe said..."
One of the subsequent comments makes an excellent point:
"Is there something in the water at the Republican side of the Senate?
I want Inhofe to apologize on the Senate floor like they forced Durbin to apologize for invoking Nazism when he repeated a report of prisoner abuse.
Durbin wasn’t even speaking for himself, just that the reports sounded Nazi-like. Inhofe went much further."
Apparently he's also anti-evolution, no big surprise.
And isn't this the guy who bragged that his family was so pure & perfect because it had no gays in it?
Jesus, what a MORAN!

I think Brad should do this every so often, it will keep more people coming here, instead of going strictly to the sites where the people are getting these posts from. It's a compliment to Brad, that people are putting links to great articles on Brad Blog. They could just be on those sites, reading the articles... But they post them here. I think that's GRRRRRREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is why there's always 200 comments under open threads.
