A losing incumbent in Polk County Iowa has filed all necessary paper work and a surety bond in order to qualify for a contest of the election. This was based on a ballot-counting malfunction in Pottawattamie County that prematurely named nine losing candidates as winners. County officials there acknowledged last week that they had failed to properly test their new machines prior to Election Day. (I spoke to a reporter last week who told me that the county had admitted not doing any L&A test at all.) / If you read the article from Winston Co. You said “A losing incumbent” (emphasis mine) and I know what you mean, but doesn’t this illustrate that even the structure of the language we use to describe election events shows a built in bias?
I mean we really do not know if the incumbent lost or not, because we have valid doubts or NO CONFIDENCE feelings, because we know the nature of the machines used to do the count.
The structure of our language says the loser wants a recount, which shows a history of faith in our elections.
Which is an ok thing I suppose, so long as we realize that any such faith must change when evidence mandates it.
The chain of custody violations on thousands of machines in San Diego (by election warlord Haas), and the subsequent poo pooing of that illegality (“it’s been done this way for 40 years”), smacks of the classic case of being in a rut.
We are in new uncharted territory, and it remains to be seen if this blind faith built into our elections will be so strong that we just go on subconsciously thinking that only losers want a recount.
I do not know what party the incumbent you mentioned belongs to, but these daze I do not fault anyone for asking for a hand count where machines have been used for the first count.
OT: I just want to add the word DIEBOLD to the dictionary as a NOUN meaning electronic election fraud devices by ALL manufactures.

They can not validate the entire electronic system. Not even GOD can. They caused this NOT GOD. MEN DID IT.
The ONLY way to resolve this is with another completely non-electronic election. (not like I saw in mexico with a god damned calculator!) Everyone needs to be involved. Hell if you want to vote, you better want to COUNT!
At this point there will be attempts at socially engineering the vote in other ways, like forcing someone with a god damn mailed voter pamphlet to show an ID or just eliminating them from the rolls, or dumping their votes in the trash. Or a myriad and plethera of other dirty tricks. Perhaps some bloody noses are in order?! At least we will all be face to face.
It’s gonna come down to cival war if that’s the shit they want to play.

I argue, in Sacramento that Bruce McPherson the Secretary Of State has tampered with more than three DieBold machines by allowing them to be tampered with and uncertified and by saying that the final results are X, Y, Z. When with electronics the result could have been A, B, C.
Where were these machines? IN MY LOCAL PRECINT.
I saw it personally.
My paper went in, and nothing came out.
AND I SAW THE ORANGE STICKER ON TOP OF THE DIEBOLD SCANNER THAT SAID IF YOU TAMPER WITH THIS MACHINE IT’S A FELONY.
The way I see it, he’s tampered with more than three machines by breaking his oath, and breaking his own laws, and allowing uncertified machines to let loose.
That’s three strikes.
That’s LIFE in PRISON.

I’ve had this little theory for quite a few years now. I notice things, and especially involving governmental functioning, at all levels. It seems that it is not done to acutally fulfill your duty, actually live up to any oath. People no longer DO their jobs; they merely go along posing as the person who holds their job title. For instance: The Director of California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection does not direct anything… just sits at the desk, takes the calls, goes to the meetings, lets whatever the big boys want to happen HAPPEN. It is not unique to public servants. It’s in offices and other businesses all across the country. I’m amazed we still find food at the grocery store. Pretty soon the truckers are just going to be behind the wheel, rolling willy-nilly. Like they’ve spiked our air. It’s almost completely science fiction out there now.
