   By next fall, this great nation of ours will have been at peace for 60 years. That’s right! We have not been at war for almost 60 years.

   Does anyone know of any festivities planned to celebrate this impressive accomplishment?

   Maybe with a constitutional amendment defining the word "war"? I know we’ve invaded two countries and toppled their governemts in the last three years, and I would have sworn that was war.

   Or as our Congress might say, "Costitution. What’s that?"

   Congress :laugh:

   Yeah, I think they could tie up at least half the country in a good old fashioned shouting match to determine the definition of ‘war’. Doubt it would get us much further than the standstill we are at now. Unless you consider our current position a backslide, which I would accept as valid too. lol
