UPDATE 11/1/2014: McConnell’s Democratic opponent Alison Lundergan Grimes has filed an emergency suit to stop the mailers (though it seems far too late for that.) In the meantime, this Kentucky voter tells us he “received one but my wife who is republican didn’t so they knew who to send them too.” Imagine that.
I see your point. A Republican responding to the lies of his democrat opponent through an election mailer. The nerve of that guy, very sinister stuff indeed!

Kevin, with all the race baiting and war on women garbage the left has had to resort to because of the spectacular failure of their policies, the gloves are off. You gotta get the voters attention. Brad will of course ignore vicious lies of the left and instead focus on the “spooky” reply to the lies. Implying of course that he is one of the few bright enough to figure out what the mailer is, a political mailer. The sort of elitist arrogance expected from the far left, but seen for what it is by most normal people.
Steve, let me get this straight. Let’s say Allison Grimes is “lying” then you believe Mitch sending out mailers to deceive voters of their rights is the way to go.

So, you’ve pretty much shot down your own argument. You say that only a few are “bright enough to figure out what the mailer is, a political mailer.” In other words, the intent is to make something so obscure that it’s sole intent is hard to interpret properly.
No Kevin. I’m saying Brad is implying that most people are too stupid to understand what this is. And JT’s fake outrage that this will “deceive voters of their rights” is just as ridiculous as Brad’s implication. A more likely scenario is that these went into the trash can with all the other political mailers that are filling peoples mailboxes these days.
Every vote counts. With all the illegal votes in recent elections which Brad works so tirelessly to protect, that statement is more important now than ever. You gotta try to get peoples attention however you can. And the left is out of control with race baiting, fear mongering, and deceptive ads. But of course Brad won’t report on that stuff, I guess the end justifies the means. So don’t lecture me on caring more about winning than the country JT. Look in the mirror instead.

I offer the knowing disinformation you post/reblog on an almost continuous basis blaming voter ID laws and attempts to purge voting rolls of non-citizens as being racist. I offer all the recent reports of illegal voting which you of course ignore. Hmmm, widespread illegal voting which is apparently nationwide, any attempt to stop that criminal activity is met with empty claims of racism by Brad, a “voting integrity website” ignoring all the evidence presented by real election integrity experts. Duh, 2+2=4. Go ahead and silence the only dissenting voice on a website which caters to an adoring and agreeable audience of 20, I rarely waste my time on a site where the blogger has stated to me that he doesn’t report on democrat election violations because they don’t “interest him”.

If I’d read nothing else by Wingnut Steve, this would tell me that he’s gone deaf in the wingnut echo chamber. One of their standard tactics is to turn the accusations around on the accuser. “I’m rubber, you’re glue.” It may work on a playground, but we’re adults here. Elections are not a game, not some partisan scheme. If you can’t trust the people who maintain the voting rolls or count your vote, there is no democracy.

Please cut Steve off. He doesn’t give a fuck. He adds nothing here but insane, hypocritical, fictitious hyperbole. Nothing of substance in there. His lack of respect for and repeatedly demonstrated inability to follow the few simple rules of your incredibly generous blog disqualify him from the privilege of being able to post here. Mailers saying if Republicans win the police will be able to arrest blacks for no reason whenever they want. TV commercials with pictures of black children holding signs saying don’t shoot me. References to the KKK. TV commercials saying vote democrat so another Ferguson doesn’t happen here. A GOP opponent has been called a whore. A GOP opponent has been called an “uncle tom”. And there are countless other examples which you won’t hear about from bradblog because the end justifies the means to the left wing fanatic. And Brad is much more interested in this “scary” mailer. Brad is supposed to be “the squeeky wheel” when it comes to election integrity. A much more apt description is found on wikipedia which states he covers election issues from a progressive standpoint. Give it up C. Galloway, you’ll never see that here.

Since it’s clear you simply cannot respect the very few rules we have for comments here, despite repeated second, third, fourth, fifth chances etc., you are now on “moderate”, which means, in short, unless I “preclear” your comments, they will not appear at The BRAD BLOG anymore. I have no interest in babysitting you, however, even after having done so for so many years. So don’t expect many, if any, of your comments to be published.

So, you are suggesting that a Republican sending “ELECTION FRAUD NOTICE” mailers to Democrats (but not to Republicans in the very same house), is just like a DemocratIC Party mailer sent to Democratic voters saying “Who you vote for is your secret. But whether or not you vote is public record. If you do not vote this year, we will be interested to hear why not.”
