Maybe we should start sending bags of coffee beans to our representatives, to get them to become alert and to stay awake long enough to listen up to Kucinich, who represents the opinions of a huge swathe of US citizens.

Just trying to be funny where there is no humor.
I wouldn't send nothing. Until they restore the constitution, and put the brakes on the counterfeit economy. Straight up.

Fax's, Letters, and face to face.
That Voter ID law putting the 90+ yr old off really pissed me off.
Staying calm though.

Maybe people have forgotten, but GWB and his admin will receive their pensions, for life I believe, unless they are removed from office prior to a new admin coming into office. This would be one way to get some of our tax $ back for more important uses.

Almost 22,000 have signed the petition at democrats.com. Let's keep it going; let's show them that there are a whole lot of people out here in favor of impeachment.

...unless they are removed from office prior to a new admin coming into office.
So you really believe that Bush/Cheney are leaving in January 2009? It's possible, but even if they actually leave and McCain is allowed to take over, they are not going anywhere. As I see it, these people did not steal two presidential "elections" and put all of this dictatorial stuff in place and trashing of the US Constitution just to easily and willingly hand things over to somebody else. These scum think they are above the law and can do as they so please, which they have done and will continue to do (regardless of rhetoric to the contrary...like Bush telling the Supremes that he will go along with their decision re Guantanamo...isn't that good of him. Yeah sure he will!).
As for this dictatorial Bush regime staying on, things are already in place---with the usual complicit and silent Dems' enabling---for Bush to declare at a moment's notice whatever he chooses to declare.

And you still think they care, huh?! These scum in congress could care less about signatures on a petition. They don't take their orders from petitions. They take their orders from the corporation$/military industrial complex.
Awhile back I read a comment from someone who had called John Conyers' office. Then that person posted this comment of what Conyers' office supposedly told them:
The people who protest here in the District of Columbia do NOT represent the American people and none of the people who protest in DC are from Conyers' own district. (Now, I don't know how Conyers would know that.)
But supposedly that's what Conyers' office told this person who had called them.

Sadly I must agree with Erma.
I think it is very clear that these COMPLICIT Democrats are going to do nothing what so ever unless there is literally a boot heel on their throats. They have proven with their ACTIONS that they could not care less what the majority of the American public wants, and especially disturbing regardless what the ill informed populace wants it is their SWORN DUTY as Congressmen to Impeach a known criminal and they flatly refuse.
Every single person in Congress KNOWS what these treasonous war criminals have done and probably know exactly what they are going to do next.
They do not care because they are bought and paid for by Big Oil and the top 2%.
Overwhelming force of numbers in the 10s of Millions is the only chance of Impeachment happening.
But where is the outrage? There might be about 1 Million of us but that's about it.
Take Pro Rasslin off the air and or stop running NASCAR and you would have 100 Million storming the gates with the veins in their neck bulging.
Try to Impeach a pResident that stole 2 elections and has committed no less than 35 Impeachable offences, has taken the country into an illegal, unjust, immoral occupation of Iraq based entirely on bald faced lies, is at least partly responsible for the deaths of well over 4100 US soldiers and 3000 American citizens (9/11) plus over 1 Million innocent Iraqi's.
Has burdened the country with 10 Trillion $$ of debt, wiped his ass with the Constitution, deleted the Bill of Rights, and on & on & on and all the Media does is *yawn* and as usual the American public does nothing.
We DESERVE exactly whats coming.

May God make His/Her/Its/Their desire for impeachment known. Congress will NOT ignore us. I pray to God for DIVINE INTERVENTION! Let's cook up some big, huge, spectacular miracles! All I can say is "ATTA BOY". Finally someone who sees the hypocrisy and is willing to do something. If it wouldn't cost so much I would say to all representatives to go forward with the articles, however we need to save our money to pay off Bush's War.

Oh, I believe impeachment will come. For EIGHT LONG YEARS, the international law trained attorneys have been working on this.
We the People cannot have violations of GENEVA ..
Today's SCOTUS decision on POWs is a very good sign of things to come shorty.
Here is my link for things to think about, and HOPEFULLY some none Americans will sign to remove Nancy Pelosi.
The number of signatures on these petitions is PATHETIC, imho. This is DEMOCRACY at stake !!
I suggest, as always, calling your states' AGs and telling THEM to UPHOLD THE RULE OF LAW ..
This is NOT a political issue. Funny how BOTH parties selected Candidates who think THEY are above the law, isn't it? McCain with his Abramoff ties - Obama in Robert Rubin's pocket and ties to Rezko ...
http://ladybroadoak.blog...remove-nancy-pelosi.html
WE must impeach these bastards and get good clean elections .. Everyone should be tired of being MANIPULATED by now.
I visualize those nice clean ballot boxes all lined up the NEXT election .. that's a bright spot in my day.

Since when does cost have to do with upholding the US Constitution...what's left of it?
And it's not just "Bush's War." That's bullshit and partisan propaganda because the Dems have been equally complicit in this war/occupation by their "yes" votes for the initial attack and their "yes" votes for the subsequent funding appropriations. That's the truth. The Bush regime along with all those Traitors in congress who voted "yes" for any of this stuff should all be charged with war crimes because they are accessories to the crime.

I don't really give a crap what Congress, or Pelosi, or any of those yahoos thinks about Kucinich, or impeachment. What I care about is that a representative of our government did the right thing, whether or not it was popular, whether or not it has a chance of success. And I support him. I think anybody who thinks we have criminals running this country ought to stand with Kucinich and show our support. Gestures count, and they could be a start of something greater. I think we should sign that petition and at least show him we agree that these things are worthy of investigation. So what if Congress doesn't listen? It's the right thing, and if enough people think so, at some point they'll have to listen.

The recent response from the mainstream media regarding Dennis Kucinich's Articles of Impeachment highlight the current state of the democracy. The media organizations, by and large, displayed, in effect, an act of censorship. That means the people have been deprived of vital information; a type of information that could encourage them to act and to respond to a threat to their democracy. I am referring to their president, who by all accounts, does not represent them or their needs and aspirations.

It is only thanks to independent news sources such as RawStory.com and bloggers that the actual contents of the 35 Articles of Impeachment are discussed. The US Media fails to correct its criminal behavior of aiding and abetting war crimes and just continues disseminating the fascist propaganda of the America-hating Bush cabal. After all what could be more anti-American than rigging elections and suppressing votes?

said on 8/30/2008 @ 2:29 pm PT...
Congressman Kucinich is a TRUE American Statesman and Hero for doing the job he was elected to do by upholding the LAW of our land: The Constitution of the United States! Those who have trampled all over it should and NEED to be brought to justice and we Americans need to have our good name restored world wide in the name of peace, freedom and good will towards all men! All those of us truly aware of how the world works are grateful for the courage and, to use a word overused by the current dictator-in-chief, RESOLVE of a man who truly knows why he is in Congress and what his job is-to represent the will of the people! We can't thank you enough for all of your hard work and steadfast determinism to see that our Constitutional Law is upheld in this land! And now that I am sure I will be placed on a "watch list" for supporting this action and dissenting against our current administration, let me be the first to say, "I am not afraid of this tyrannical government because truth, justice and goodness will prevail in the end!"
