Oil prices are about supply and demand. Two countries do not currently have the infrastructure to determine how much oil they need. Those two countries are Russia and China. You are correct. The 2 greatest accomplishments of the Clinton years were balancing the budget and welfare reform. Both were reached because of a Republican congress and all Bill had to do was sign the bills. He reluctantly signed welfare reform.

Surplus? Those were future predictions. Things always change. If I make $100,000 this year I can predict that I will make at least $100,000 next year. However, I could become unemployed and my prediction becomes null and void.

We are now in a war. A costly war. A war that will last for many years. We need to drain the swap. We need to kill all of the roaches. Iraq is part of that war. If you run from a bully he will haunt you the rest of your life. Terrorists in modern times have been terrorizing since the Olympics in 1972. It's about time to fight back.
