My show on KPFK/Pacifica today follows below. We featured a quick word on Obama’s fiscal speech today at George Washington University; quick updates on both the Fukushima nuclear crisis (with the lovely Desi Doyen) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce plot to use tools developed for the “War on Terror” against progressives (including me and my family!)
The main segment is detailed coverage of the Wisconsin Supreme Court election debacle, including some fresh news with my guest John Washburn of Fair Elections Wisconsin, himself a Justice David Prosser voter, a self-described “Ron Paul Republican” and someone who has even spoken on behalf of the hapless Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus in the past.
Even Washburn, as you’ll hear, is unable to explain the holes in Nickolaus’ explanation for the reason she failed to report 14,000+ votes from the city of Brookfield on Election Night, and for a number of newly discovered anomalies from previous elections in her county. (Though, since air time, we’ve finally been contacted by Nickolaus, and may soon have an explanation for some of those new anomalies as discussed during today’s show.)

P.S. We’re still trying to decide on a name for my weekly, half-hour KPFK show (Wednesday’s at 3:30pm PT). “The BradCast” has been suggested by a number of folks, and it’s not bad. Whaddaya think? Got any other ideas? Still open, pondering…
P.P.S. Here’s the podcast RSS feed for the KPFK show each week, in case you’d like to subscribe (for free) and get notifications or downloads of new archives often sooner than I’m sometimes able to post them here!

Just to confuse people: it’s a radio version of the Brad Blog, right?
So… The Rad Log!
Also works doubly well for Fukushima updates…
Have you read this, Brad? I think this theory is worth keeping an eye on because the evidence would appear in all the other precincts; Brookfield’s total would have been correctly reported but it would have been double counted, the first time when it was padded onto other precincts and the second when she announced her “mistake.” Can’t say for sure if it’s true but it’s worth watching to see what happens with the numbers in other precincts; if they all have a few to 200 extra (depending on size) that are unaccounted for that would be a red flag.
Sorry, forgot to include the link:

This could be the reason Prosser and others have been trying to play down the idea of a federal investigation, forensics could probably figure out what she was doing on that computer.
Justin
Eric Nelson’s double counting theory is one possible explanation, but one mustn’t rule out other possible scams. Nickolaus does not come across as an expert, but it is conceivable that she has been getting outside help.
I would not be optimistic about a federal
investigationcover-up. If there are discoverable irregularities, Kloppenburg’s legal team will be the one that discovers them. Here’s a name for your show…. ‘Brad To the Bone’ even has its own theme song.
Oh definitely, I wasn’t trying to rule anything else out. The turnout in Waukesha still looks ridiculously high, especially compared to other Republican areas of WI. As far as Nickolaus goes, isn’t “IT specialist” or “computer specialist” what she worked for the Republican Party doing? This link describes her as the “go to person” for expertise on “what works” in elections in Waukesha for example: http://www.solidaritywisconsin....lection-expert
I’ve heard her referenced several times as a self-described computer “expert.”
She’s the one who downloaded all the election data to her laptop and took it home, right? “Just for security” don’t you know!
Wow, this looks like it should be fairly straight-forward in exposing her shenanigans in the past.
