The 'Feds' shot and killed Randy Weavers 14 year old son in the back, and shot and killed his wife while she held her infant daughter...Gassed and burned to death over 70 men, women, and children in Waco...Tortured and hung Kenneth Trentadue...Killed Terrance Yeakey...yada yada yada.
I could type until my fingers were raw with crimes of the 'Feds', the real question should be, How do YOU sleep at night knowing what you do?
I imagine you simply block those charred children in Waco out of your mind.
I myself won't lose any sleep tonight over this guy swinging in the wind. Goodnight.

Lets see now: The FBI and the CIA pay people to incite violence on the internet.
If that doesn't work they pay people to do violence.
Only OJ can help the feds to find the real killers now.
Just another reason to shut down that awful internet thing.
It makes people go crazy!

Sparkman's death having come on September 12
They found the body on the 12th. He had been missing since at least the 10th.
Why not wait until they figure out the cause of death before concluding Beck or Limbaugh did it?

Incidentally, having no idea why or even how this man died at this point, it should be noted that local news reports say that there are thousands of Census workers currently doing what Sparkman did. If ritual, political murder by those "led" by others is the actual motive, shouldn't there be more than one homicide?
That's rhetorical.

Wow, you certainly have reached some brilliant conclusions, considering you don't know any of the actual details. Maybe it was the anarchists protesting capitalism at G20. They were ACTUALLY violent, unlike the T-party Patriots. Oh, no - couldn't have been the anarchists - they weren't smart enough to organize a protest march, much less a murder. That was a laughable protest, wasn't it guys? They were 2 stupid 2 get a permit to assemble! Maybe they should have gotten some help from those dumb, redneck T-party people. Those little old ladies and soccer moms know how to put together a protest. Oh, yeah, and there were even several news crews covering the T-party, unlike the one lone cameraman from the local station in Pittsburg. BTW, love the anarchist's signs. All of them started with "NO." I thought Repubs were s'posed to b the party of no. Ha! One guy who lives in Pittsburgh said there were maybe a hundred protesters. Another blogger claimed about 500. Then another account claimed 1000. Whew! by tomorrow they may have lied a protest into existence. Too bad this poor guy in KY died. I feel for his family, but apparently you have no empathy for them, since you just casually throw the blame on right-wingers without even waiting to find out what really happened. And, the AP story was not actually true, there are mistakes. Don't no if "FED" was on his chest or not, his feet were touching the ground, po-po won't confirm cause of death, so u no nothing.

Here we have a President and a party pushing for huge changes in our system of government that will result in a permanent measurable loss of much of our freedoms as a people. Yet to call attention to it by speaking facts that often came right out of these Leftists own mouths is called "irresponsible" and "wingnut".
Hitler burned down the Reichstag so that he could blame and crack down on his critics. I wouldn't put it past this crowd now running Washington to do the same by creating their own martyrs.

Um, do you mean a President who is continuing the illegal wiretaps of every citizen in the U.S. and holding detainees, at will, for any length without charges, in continuation of the policies put in place by his predecessor? If so, I'd agree with you.
But just wondering why you didn't give a damn about any of it for the last eight years?

Brad, why not put the facts of the case at the front of your opinion article? You know, the FACTS, like the fact that the AP story is based upon anonymous sources, and that the AP story is full of flaws and errors.
What this sounds like to me is someone who is deciding on the suspect long before they see the evidence. Then they find evidence to support their case against the suspect. That's just piss poor investigation and piss poor journalism.
This census worker stumbled into a meth lab and was killed by psyched out users who thought he was a DEA agent.

A guy gets lynched on 9/12 tea party day with "FED" etched on him...the story breaks NATIONALLY TWO WEEKS AFTER THE FACT!!!
Nothing out of the ordinary! He died of "asphyxiation"!!!
http://www.msnbc.msn.com...908/vp/33013149#33013149
Here's my take on the "there's lots of pot/meth in that area", etc........
We hear excuse after excuse after excuse for all these deaths related to hate radio...and this is just the latest. The liberals killed in the church? A rightwinger. How about those cops shot in (was it?) Pittsburgh? But they never HAMMER the fact of how hate radio plays a part.
It's just like you can't talk about racism, like it doesn't exist.
Racism doesn't exist in America! Ask anybody!!!
Hate radio isn't causing wingnuts to kill people, ask anybody!!!
The thing is, when you stack together ALL of these slayings, THERE IS A PATTERN! There will be a "next one", and a "next excuse"...except the REAL excuse. And it will go on and on, until we discuss the real reason.
If it was drug-related, do you think they'd want national attention by lynching and carving "FED"? Call me crazy, but that's the LAST thing they'd do, in my opinion.
Someone wanted to send a message about census workers.
[ed note: Fixed yer link thing. According to Rachel's report, Sparkman was FOUND on the 12th but had been dead since the 11th. So this wasn't done on tea party day. --99]

For me it's still a shock to my system when I read the type of slanderous, angry, illogical comments that occasionally flood this blog when Brad hits a particularly sensitive(to the far right)story. Just freaks me out. Doubly freaks me out because so many of the words they use to scream at Brad are similar to words we use to describe their side's rantings. Then because I try to be fair, because I believe we all have to stop making ANYONE into the "other", because I believe I AM my "enemy" I have to consider what they're saying and why so many of the words are the same. Make sense? Makes me ill and crazy and eventually I sort it out again but it never fails to initially jar the system. Someone famous once said something about ignorance being the most terrifying thing to behold. Who are these people? I have to believe in a larger sense they're us. Who are we?

The left wing nut gets irritated and depressed so he finds a tragic story with with asolutely no indicting evidence and tries to use it to attack the right. Hilarious and yet pathetic. Why is it that when Bush invades our privacy with the Patriot Act, lies us into the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent human beings, you on the Right-wing are unmoved?
Yet when that which has been done for years, the National Census, it's a violation? Absurd "logic". Purely political, obviously.
Why is the death of someone hanged with "FED" scrawled across their chest, who is a National Census worker after the rattle of those on the Reich, er I mean Right-wing FOX, NOT related? I'm wondering why we shouldn't recognize the OBVIOUS connections to the Beck hateful vomit? Because politics, not humanity run your moral parameter, or should I say, in place of having one. You have abandoned your own, giving FOX the controls. You've also given up your objectivity on the R-wing as well.
Of course it seems related! Why shouldn't we question the ties.

"A long federal investigation has been taking place in the county over the last several years, ... resulted in the arrest of the local Mayor and others on charges of drug trafficking and more. The sale of .... the narcotics ring may well have led to the later election fraud busts.
In short, there are many reasons and many people who are likely to have a deep distrust for the federal government in that part of Kentucky".
Guess what this investigation was started under G. Bush, so now I'm assuming you'll all be saying "Bush's fault" or "Bush is behind this".

Stupid people are incapable of critical thinking, and usually take ideological stances on issues like this. Nobody knows why this person was killed, but it *is* very interesting that they scrawled "FED" across his chest, suggesting some kind of anti-government reasoning behind it. Now where has all that anti-government rhetoric been hurled from, the right wingers, or the left wingers? Come on, be honest. And stop with the teabagger name being crude. We knew that right away when Fox and freedomworks borrowed the term (quite idiotically, I might add,) apparently not aware of the slang definition. Now they are trying to say how, "gross" it is, and how, "vulgar" it is. You idiots are the ones who started misusing the term in the first place, referring to them as "teabagger parties," a rather unfortunate imagery. What right-wingers? It's amazing, Brad, the way you didn't let the facts get in the way of your seething hatred.
You almost made it, though --- you provided your readers with relevant details mitigating the popular assumption that Glenn Beck and Michele Bachmann were puppet masters working the hands of a banjo-playing murderer. But then you either figured you had to keep your leftist bonafides intact, or felt your head about to explode if you failed to somehow blame the mainstream right for the tragic death. So you puked out "With all that in mind, however..." just in time.
Just like with the 2007 incident in Jena, LA (in which the outrage was nooses hung from a tree after five black teens kicked a white boy unconscious rather than the actual attack), the 2000 suicide of Raynard Johnson (which Jesse Jackson, the NAACP, and the SPLC alleged was a "lynching" despite thorough investigation showing no foul play), and the 2000 murder of a young gay man by his stepfather that was used to smear Dr. Laura Schlessinger, people like you megaphone accusations at your enemies with flimsy evidence, but meekly mumble mea culpas when they are merited (if at all).
More troubling than your blinding partisanship is the notion folks like you promote that somehow there is something immoral with plainly stating the truth if it will set off some unknown mentally-disturbed individual. As a previous poster wrote, there is a foundation of truth to what Bachmann said about abuse of Census information, and it's a fact that the surveys are more intrusive than the Constitution dictates. Should she not state those facts because some redneck might kill a Census taker? That makes about as much sense as saying blacktivists shouldn't say there are racist cops (hello, Van Jones!) because some unbalanced black man might shoot one ... or five.

It scares me, that these hillbillies in their convoluted FOX fortified oblivion, vote in our elections. It is truly frightening how ignorant these people are.
Guess who pumps out that the "Liberal own media" ?
Obviously it's the RIGHT-WING owned media. These people have NEVER studied the history of media ownership, it's consolidation in recent years, by many corporate interests, of who are ALSO invested into the military industrial complex, as the REPUBLICAN Eisenhower warned us so ominously against, "beware the INFLUENCE of the military industrial complex".
Of course they won't watch documentaries, or study scholarly essays on media owned by Republicans mostly. The Right-wingers protect their ignorance. Knowledge would require them to show some honor and CONCEDE. Nope arrogance over-rides honesty every time with these cartoon characters.

L.N. Smithee quotes Michele Bachmann!
How about these quote by her:
On her 2004 state capitol rally for a same-sex marriage ban amendment: “Listeners should rejoice right now, because there are believers all across your listening area that are praying now. And I would say that if you can’t attend the rally, you can pray. And God calls us to fall on our faces and our knees and cry out to Him and confess our sins. And I would just ask your listeners to do that now. Cry out to a Holy God. He wants to hear us, He will hear us if we will confess our sins and cry out to Him. Our children are worth it and obedience to God demands it.” — Senator Michele Bachmann, appearing as guest on radio program “Prophetic Views Behind The News”, hosted by Jan Markell, KKMS 980-AM, March 6, 2004.
On her March 2004 rally against same-sex marriage: “It will be an awesome day. We are going to be beseeching the Lord.” — Senator Michele Bachmann, appearing as guest on radio program “Prophetic Views Behind The News”, hosted by Jan Markell, KKMS 980-AM, March 20, 2004.
On what will happen if her same-sex marriage ban amendment fails to pass in 2004: “It isn’t that some gay will get some rights. It’s that everyone else in our state will lose rights. For instance, parents will lose the right to protect and direct the upbringing of their children. Because our K-12 public school system, of which ninety per cent of all youth are in the public school system, they will be required to learn that homosexuality is normal, equal and perhaps you should try it. And that will occur immediately, that all schools will begin teaching homosexuality.” --- Senator Michele Bachmann, appearing as guest on radio program “Prophetic Views Behind The News”, hosted by Jan Markell, KKMS 980-AM, March 6, 2004.
NOW...her amendment did NOT pass, and she said above, if it didn't pass: "they will be required to learn that homosexuality is normal, equal and perhaps you should try it. And that will occur immediately, that all schools will begin teaching homosexuality. "
I'm just wondering how the mandatory teaching of homosexuality is going in Minnesota since 2004. How's that workin' out?
Let's compare it with her hysteria about census workers, too, shall we?
She said they're going to use the data to round us up into FEMA camps, like FDR did with the census data rounding up the Japanese.
My point is this: should anyone be quoting or referencing Michele Bachmann??? Are you crazy???
She's against a minimum wage, and there's much MUCH more, if you'd like to get into quoting Michele Bachmann.
I advise you not to go there.

Though I totally object to the content of this post, as no determination has been made to the cause of death, I want bloggers like the RadBlog to keep posting stuff like this.
See, though a lifelong Reagan Republican, I beleive posts like this are a public service. See, the genius of the First Amendment is that it gives ALL Americans the right to rant in lunatic fashion.
Ergo, by alerting the American public to the lunacy among us, we know best how to avoid it. As we will be avaoiding left wing lunacy in toto when the Anyone But Democrats are elected in force next year and throw the tinfoil bums out. Have to wait a little longer on Obama, but teh masks are off. Americans prefer to have teh grown-ups in charge.
So again, Thank You RadBlog. By bringing your political lunacy to the surface, it helps the American people understand just how nutty and psycho you left wing loons really are

1. "...paranoia about the possibility of 2010 Census workers being hired from places such as favorite wingnut whipping-boy ACORN,..." Census Bureau cancelled ACORN's contract a couple of weeks ago. What else could they do after Newt Gingrich screaming to anyone in the media that would listen (and not challenge him): "You don't want ACORN counting your census, do you?"
2. Rachel's guest said it was marijuana harvesting season in rural Kentucky. So he may have run into some natural Fed haters who were less friendly than usual.
3. I signed up to work on the census and my understanding is that actual counting does not start until 2010, it's all prep and organization work right now. And they only go door to door to people who have NOT returned the forms that get mailed. So why was he going door to door now?

Gee Cam - why would anyone here or at various left wing loonatic blogs and mouthpieces EVER wait for facts and evidence before spewing forth their baseless accusations.
Brad may want people to believe that those spewing these biased hateful accusations and blame for what is likely a death motivated by those on the left that were responsible for the riots at the G20 - anyone with an IQ higher than room temperature - and I say this as a Democrat - knows Brad is full of shit. Census workers have been charged with locating the front door to every habitable space in the USA. They locate this portals on a GPS device and take a photo for good measure.
This is so the government can find anyone anywhere anytime.
Maybe your ok with that?

Tunga, UPS uses GPS info to deliver packages also so I'd imagine Police, Fire and the Postal Service are going to use that info collected in the future.
Fire could use the info to figure out how many people live in a house if a fire breaks out at that address.
Damned Socialist departments.
If we don't like how much info is collected about us, we can blame the invention of the computer for it.

Well, yes, there are all kinds of good uses for the census information, Flo, but there are nefarious ones, too, and ones that some consider nefarious and others do not.
I can think of a whole bunch of fascistic uses for the information, and could Google up the veracity of the evil Bachmann's claim about using census information against citizens in the past. The census is very necessary for getting services and the prescribed amount of representation to all areas, but it can be dangerous to liberty in a big way if the uses to which the information can be put is not kept to the righteous minimum. They really are very uppity about getting information out of you, too.
I got a card to return to the 2000 census that tried to tell me I had to give them all kinds of specs about myself. I said, "Nope. You get to know one person is living here." Period. That's all I gave them. They don't need to know your name or your race or your sex or your income or any of the crap they ask. There are other ways to measure that stuff that are not intrusive on privacy and where there are not, the need for the information does not rise to the level of butting in on our right to privacy.
I recognize that Bachmann and Beck are doing their Republican thing of trying to keep down services to the population and representation for the people, but it's true that the census can be, and has been, used against us.
I know through a friend who just did the GPS gig preliminary to the census, and the stated purpose for it was to record every possible habitable construct so that they could get a more accurate picture of how accurate the next census would be.
Already, phone companies demand information from customers that they say will help in emergencies that actually help authorities when wanting to track, or track down, citizens... beside helping them notify others in emergencies. And what everybody forgets is that it's the authorities who decide whether our rights are worth preserving in this stuff. Already, you don't get to fly if your name is too close to someone on the No Fly list. If they think your description matches closely enough to a suspect, you're a suspect, and they don't mind using all this information supposedly gotten for our benefit to persecute us with their desire to produce a warm body in response to a crime.
We can also blame greed, hate, delusion, laziness, and authoritarian personalities for it.

It seems to me that in any two sided debate, if one side does has neither the empirical facts of reality nor the weapon of objective reason on their side, then they will do everything they can to silence their opponent who does.
This is exactly how the left has behaved over the years. Nobody else has expended more effort than they in the name of sabotaging a debate they know they can't win.
Political correctness, an artificial construct of the left, is one such attempt to airbrush the truth from the debate. Related to this is their endless attempts at calling their opponents racists, a smear they know will bring any debate to a crashing halt - at least until the last few years as the rest of us are finally becoming immune to this nonsense.
Since their old tricks aren't working any more, they're trying new ones. The latest is to redefine the word "extremist" to mean "anyone right of center." If you believe in free market capitalism, you're an extremist. If you believe in the primacy of individual liberty, you're an extremist. If you believe in small government, you're an extremist. If you believe that it's wrong to terminate late term pregnancies, you're an extremist. In fact any expression of such traditional, wholesome American values as these lands you at risk of being labeled an extremist by the left.
And so it continues: the left's tendency to turn decent values on their head and to recalibrate morality to their own convenience. Which is why they will do everything they can to convince the public that a desire for big government, high taxes, nationalized industry, restricted speech and unlimited abortion are "mainstream" values while anyone who objects to this is an "extremist."
Well, good luck to them. It doesn't look as though things are going to work out in their favor, however. The left wing agenda of the Messiah/Pelsoi/Reid/Axelrod axis is tanking and the polls just get worse and worse every day. Meanwhile, far more Americans identify themselves as conservative than liberal and the left is now seeing for themselves that a left wing agenda is political suicide. Europeans are beginning to realize the same and the right is making huge gains their at the expense of the left. How does it feel, guys?

Get a grip, dude. I'm sure all the european countries are going to be trading in their "socialist" healthcare systems so they can have one that costs 5 times as much, doesn't cover everyone, and puts private companies in a position to deny coverage for profit reasons. BTW I don't believe the right is, "making huge gains." I just think they are, "making huge amounts of noise."

Flo (#76) ~ How right you are! I went to a town hall here in Los Angeles, and was stunned - STUNNED to find that the one or two loonies holding up pictures of Obam-itler were, in fact, LaRouchies.
I didn't know anything about them. Never heard of LaRouche. But after extensive questioning I learned they were self described "progressives" who were shouting us down (unsuccessfully) because they wanted single payer and THAT's why OBAMA = HITLER. I thought --- Holy Hell --- we're into all new, disturbing territory, here. 2009 don't fuck around...

This Administration, this Justice Department must demonstrate its intolerance to the hate crimes resulting the equally intolerant hate rhetoric of right wing media pundits and Republican officials. The "knuckle dragging neandrathals" must be taken to task for the fanning of the fire that has resulted in murder more than this once. If a drug manufacture or product advertisement makes falls claims they must answer to the FDA. What is more precious than truth from media outlets, what in history has been more defended and protected than our news reporting media outlets. To allow a foreigner like Murdoch to subvert our America is traitorous behavior. The air wave, radio wave and printed media must not be allowed to be destroyed from within. These corrupt foreign influences must be investigated; Murdoch is an enemy of America. His monopoly must be broken up. American deserve truth not only in advertising; but, in our political process as well. A new version of the Fairness Doctrine is desperately needed.

Put simply, powerful right wing interests, the cowards that be do not want a lot reported on serious matters. Run along, nothing to see here!
The corporate stars of the 'news' are not going to risk losing their homes in Georgetown among the elites they bend over backwards to shield.
Why else would such a juicy, sordid tale of horror escape attention!? Hell, helicopters trailed Paris Hilton to and from jail; and, what an important scoop that was. Remember?
While no one is paying attention, the innocent victim, of Glenn Beck and his ilk, is shuffled off to the bone-yard; virtually unnoticed!
