Wow. What an amazing game.
Though, as an old (St. Louis) Cardinals boy, I would have preferred a different outcome. Oh, well. Will have to take solace in the fact that Obama's team beat McCain's. Again.

I noticed that Kurt Warner didn't mention Christ in talking about his teams defeat.

Sports have no place in the new world. Unless your talking about 350LB linebackers crushing bankers against a brick wall.

What, you would root for the Cardinals while Bidwell is still the owne? Don't you remember when he took the team out of St. Louis under the cover of night in U-Haul trucks?

We're simply THE BEST on ALL accounts! I'm not sure yet who came up with the game ball...but if I was you, I'd give it to Mrs. Tillman.
Love,

Cyteria -
What can I say? Old sentimental favorites die hard.
Though my dad likely had the best take on it. He was happy to see Warner do so well (to become Numbers 1, 2 & 3 for all time Super Bowl passing), and ultimately delighted with the outcome in that Bidwell didn't get a championship out of it

We're soooo sick of winning Super Bowls up here in Pa.
But schmeriously folks, I'm with the guy above about Warner always saying "jesus" helped him win, etc...Thank god the Cardinals didn't win, or we'd never hear the end of it. "Thank Jesus, he helped me win the Super Bowl".
I don't hear Warner saying: "We would've won...IF IT WASN'T FOR JESUS!!!" Yep! As usual, only when they win did "jesus" help them.
As it is, Jesus was on our side up here in Pa., as usual.

There was a funny cartoon in the newspaper up here. Kurt Warner was holding his helmet, looking down, praying, "Jesus, help us win the Super Bowl" etc... In the next picture, Rooney, the owner of the Steelers, chomping on his trademark cigar, parts the clouds, looks down at Kurt Warner, and says, "Kurt...excuse me, did you say something???"
