Illegal alien, being a legal term for what he is, doesn't really need quotes, does it?
If he had been deported (by the jailers turning him over to ICE) would the deaths have occured?
If we deported all illegal aliens, we'd deport tens or hundreds of thousands of drunk drivers, correct? Would U.S. citizens drink and drive more as a result?
Why would some localitie$ not want to deport illegal alien$ from their communitie$?

Illegal aliens are a distraction issue, to avoid talking about national health care. All they talk about is illegal immigration and the Iraq War, while we're all going in the poor house with health care premiums, co-pays, decreasing % of covered care, IF they cover it (even though you're paying for it).
Yeah, I'm more worried about illegal immigration and bringing democracy and national health care TO IRAQ!
These are all issues most people don't care about. Do people care more about health care or illegal immigration? Get real!
The illegal immigration issue really appeals to the rightwing idiots. It's a bone for them to "chew on"...like gay marriage, flag burning, etc...
Illegal immigration has been a problem for DECADES...and all of a sudden, everyone's worried about it? It's been an issue through many decades and different presidents of both parties.
Ask yourself, "Who's pushing this issue in the media, and why?" Maybe so no one talks about health care?

How about 2 million foreclosures on Americans, predicted in the next year? That's more important than "illegal aliens"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O'Reilly is proof positive that wallowing in lies and delusion does to damage to the human mind. The human mind morphs into the neoCon mind as lies and delusion work their work.

I gotta say that watching O'Reilly, like watching Dubya, makes me feel more depressed and powerless every day...
So I try to not do it. I feel better.
Gotta say, I still appreciate that some folks do at least watch enough to tell us what's being spouted by these bozos...
We need to know what enemies to freedom are doing...

Here is a link to a post where I link to a free book about this.
Let me also add this link which is another book about this subject matter, and scientific experiments about it.

This is off-topic, but needs to be all over Bradblog.
Please read about Bernie Ellis's plight and help him out if you can. Bernie is a real American patriot. He is one of the leaders of the election reform movement, having organized the first national get-together of activists in Nashville in April of 2005. The story by syndicated columnist (and Bradblog friend) Bob Koehler, is here:
www.commonwonders.com
I believe that his advocating for election reform is the main reason that the Feds are now trying to grab his farm. I’m gonna list some sites below.
Here's Nashville's Channel 4 Bernie story that ran two weeks ago:
www.wsmv.com/news/11321489/detail.html
Here's Bernie's site if you wanna help:
www.saveberniesfarm.com
Here's a Democratic Underground thread that you could kick for Bernie. That would also do him some good.
http://www.democraticund...;address=389×578395
Also, I'm honored to be one of the acts (Delicious Blues Stew, www.deliciousbluesstew.com) on the bill at a show in Nashville (April 25 at the Belcourt) to help save Bernie's farm. Along with the incredible and beautiful singer Jonell Mosser and top Nashville guitarist Mike Henderson, we’ll be lettin’ the good stuff rip. Drop by for that show if you're in the Music City area. Meet some major entertainers who'll no doubt show up. The show is sponsored by NORML (National Orginizatin for the Reform of Marajuana Laws) and should be a real kick.
Peace,
shw

Watch LINK-TV channel 9410 and Free Speech TV channel 9415 on DISH. Or on DirecTV, LINK channel 375. They are combatting the propoganda on TV!

Isn't it time to stop going after little bill and go after his sponsor base? No sponsors = no income = no show.

O'Reilly is toxic. Watching him or his video is akin to voluntarily drinking poison. The ONLY way to deal with this person is to simply NOT pay any attention to him or his insane ravings.. This goes for his sponsoring television channel as well .. FoxNews (a new word derived but in no way related to the word News.)

Hey Brad, maybe if you applied O'Reillys brand of theatrics to the electronic voting debate, paper ballots would gain some real traction?
"You're telling me you're okay with a private corporation counting your votes in secret, NO! NO! IT MAKES PLENTY OF DIFFERENCE! YOU WANT ANARCHY!!!" and so on...

BVAC - Guess I need to up my "theatricality quotient" to get the issue noticed, huh? Not difficult to do. Consider it under advisement

Hi Brad, I've been a connoisseur of Bill O'Reilly's Orwellian theatrics for some time. He obviously needs therapy, so I edited this little mash-up of him and Dr. Phil:

"I want you to keep in touch with us. We're gonna get the mayor, Oberndorf and the judge, Whitehurst, because they're the villains."
Is he kidding us? I do declare, that sounds like a threat to a government official to me. Hey, isn't that a felony, on the basis of domestic terrorism?
He should be very lucky I'm not the PR spokesman for Mayor Obendorf. This threat to my mayor would be splattered all over Virginia's front pages by now.
And Virginia isn't THAT far from D.C.

I also think also BigBug hit the nail on the head with his idea. Forget attacking Bill Blabbermouth, and go after the right people: the sponsors of his show.
I urge those here that are sick of him, to set your VCRs and tape an episode of Bill's show any day this week. Fast forward through his BS, of course, and just concentrate on the commercials only. Compile a list of national ads AND local ads. Then we should all come back here to Brad's Blog and post the full list we come up with for each day, Monday thru Friday.
You get this list out to millions of people who are indeed sick of this man, and it WILL make a difference.
Dibs on Monday!
By the way, in case you wondered, this is a pretty exhaustive list of 889 FoxNews sponsors that Spendingliberally.org once kept. I don't if there's an up-to-date list, for the site has been suspended, but this was the list as of April of 2006. Thank you, archives!
