Kudos on Curtis endorsement
You are right that Clint Curtis would be a good choice for Representative in Congress. I have been following Clint Curtis in the news for two years now, and have had the pleasure of meeting him in person. This man is guided by one overarching principle: integrity. He has repeatedly displayed personal courage by acting in accordance with his principles when circumstances required it, regardless of the consequences to himself. He loves this country and will put the public good first.

This is the way "good" people get elected
Most people are smart enough to see that, they use "the more ads, more corrupt the person is" way of picking their candidates, assuming corporate influence for all that air time, the attacks just turn people to the candidate being attacked.
When a person is so busy working, and doesn't have much time to study, that is sometimes the easiest way to pick the right one.
I noticed here, Crist-R (the closeted one) has three times the ads that Davis-D does in the Governors race
All attacking Davis, of course
Congrats Clint, on that endorsement

Hey...Feeney has something in common with Jim March. They are both members of the RLC...I guess that's TWO things considering that they are both republicans.
Doesn't that present a conflict of interest?

Before you get too excited...Both Florida Today and Daytona Beach News Journal endorsed Feeney's opponent last time and he still won 62-38 and his opponent spent $5 million dollars.
Sorry to rain on the parade but I refuse to get my hopes up...

How great for Clint. Way to go.
But, we shouldn't jump the gun, considering that Feeney has refused to talk to the Daytona Beach News Journal since he has been in office. They really didn't have a choice than to endorse Clint.
Sadly, I think the real papers in district 24, the Orlando Sentinel and Florida Today are going to endorse Feeney.
But, Clint's picture sure looks cute!

#5 emma,
1. Tom Feeney ran in a newly minted congressional district that also happened to be his home town and also happened to be redistricted by.. Tom Feeney.
2. 2002 was a dismal year for Democrats all around.
3. He had no opponent in '04.
Curtis has close to zero chance of defeating Feeney, but let it be said decades from now that in 2006 no tyrant went unopposed.

These fascist scum are so hard to nail and light their asses on fire. Here is the whistleblower Clint Curtis trying to hammer Feeney for his wrong doing,.. Feeney is so well financed and well connected,.. he is most likely already gloating in victory for the midterm elections.
Look at the whistleblower Sibel Edmonds trying to get her story out about the wrong doings of Hastert,.. the government will not allow her story to get out. Daniel Ellsberg again stated Hastert had suitcases of Middle Eastern drug money delivered to him to induce him to change his votes for pending legislation. For years this has been spoken of yet no action,.. no investigation against Hastert has begun. What will it take for America to understand that one party control means zero government oversight. Without governmental oversight corruption runs rampant especially with a criminal element in power,.. our government rather than envied,.. is the laughing stock of the world.
Daniel Ellsberg calls Denny Hastert a criminal who should be jailed.

It takes courage to stand up to you your old boss, I.E. Clint Curtis vs Diebold. From the beginning of our democracy it has always been the few individuals who led the courageous who had vision. The advantage Clint has is guts, - I'll take it anyday over the present spineless bloodsuckers of Congress and the White House that seek to transform us into nation of fascists. Go Clint Curtis!

P.S. I am a 67 year old lifetime voting Republican until 2003 when I read the handwriting on the wall with the Help American Vote Act. My apologies to the human race...

Emma sounds like a Feeney spoiler. She mentioned on another brad story that she has been to Feeney's office and has seen the letter Feeney supposedly sent to Clint about Feeney's willingness to debate. Meanwhile, the proof is in the pudding. Clint showed up to WMFE's PBS debate on Oct 18th. Feeney did NOT show. That is because Feeney is more inline with his special interest corps that provide his war chest, while Clint speaks to and for the PEOPLE. That is just what a house rep is supposed to do. Feeney scoffs at his constituents. I hope he gets what he deserves.
Meanwhile, beware of the words of Emma. I think she is a Feeney plant. If she is not, she is very good with the mis (and dis)-information.

Ahhhh...again...the picture of the neo-cons together (Jeb & the corrupt Feeney) with their short militant haircut, evil looks on their face, beady eyes, ultra-white skin flushed red with high blood pressure, evil look in their eyes...why do they all look like this???

...always a flag behind them...like one of Hannity's books...actually, doesn't Hannity fit my description, too? Too bad they all couldn't take a "group picture" together, these creeps that are ruining America...

Julie,
You MUST be kidding! Darned straight I went to the campaign office! What would you have done. Clint said Feeney wouldn't debate, Feeney said that wasn't true. Don't you care about TRUTH??? I have stuck my neck out here in the Oviedo area (where Feeney is from) begging for votes for Curtis! Lifetime friends look at me like I am out of my mind. I have a yard sign in my front yard and even have my "take the test, Tom" T- Shirt that I wear to all the local political hob nobs! You'd better bone up here sweetheart. I'm a lot of things but a "Feeney Plant" sure as heck is not one of them!!! If either one of them tells me something that isn't true I will show up on their doorstep asking for proof! I'm sick to death of the lies politicians tell and we all just sit back and accept their answers.

Clint went from Feeney putting a tinfoil hat on him on his childish website (since taken down) to being endorsed by a Daytona newspaper over the corrupt godfather of vote rigging Tom Feeney!!!
People are finding out what we already knew about Clint Curtis, a "regular guy" fighting back against corrupt politicians. A win for the "little/honest guy"...

Clint Curtis was on PBS-WMFE today for a Q & A, and Tom Feeney didn't show up! That's ok, Clint was thus allowed more time to answer a myriad of questions on all issues and did a fabulous , outstanding job with comprehensive and detailed answers!

Great news, the Daytona paper's endorsement of Clint! I just got a letter from Feeney, also from his wife, Ellen, with a photo enclosed of his family & sons, seeking support. That letter strongly indicates Feeney's very concerned about defeat, so is pulling out all stops to convince voters he's best choice. I asked MoveOn.org to give more support to Clint and think it has helped, but am concerned the voting machines can yet be rigged in the 24th. Clint's a computer expert and hope the Dems are watching closely!
